Claims (25)
- パウチ型二次電池の電池ケースのカップ部の外側に延長形成されたサイドをフォールディングするサイドフォールディング装置であって、
プレート形状を有し、前記サイドに隣接するように、前記二次電池の長さ方向に長く配置されるボディーを含み、
前記ボディーは、
一側に位置し、前記サイドの相対的に内側に位置する内側部を加熱する加熱部と、
他側に位置し、前記サイドの相対的に外側に位置する外側部を加圧する加圧部とを含み、
前記加熱部が前記内側部を加熱すると、前記ボディーが回転して前記加圧部が前記外側部を加圧する、サイドフォールディング装置。 - 前記サイドの内側部は、シーリングされておらず、前記サイドの外側部は、シーリングされている、請求項1に記載のサイドフォールディング装置。

相対的にカップ部により近い位置でフォールディングされた第2フォールディング部とを含む、請求項1から4のいずれか一項に記載のサイドフォールディング装置。 - 前記第1フォールディング部は、前記外側部に位置し、
前記第2フォールディング部は、前記内側部に位置する、請求項5に記載のサイドフォールディング装置。 - 前記サイドは、前記第1フォールディング部を基準に、170゜~180゜の角度でフォールディングされている、請求項5または6に記載のサイドフォールディング装置。
- 前記サイドは、前記第2フォールディング部を基準に、85゜~95゜の角度でフォールディングされている、請求項5から7のいずれか一項に記載のサイドフォールディング装置。
- 前記サイドは、前記第2フォールディング部を基準に、88゜~92゜の角度でフォールディングされている、請求項8に記載のサイドフォールディング装置。
- 前記加熱部は、165℃~220℃の温度で前記内側部を加熱する、請求項1から9のいずれか一項に記載のサイドフォールディング装置。
- 前記加熱部は、1秒~3秒の時間にわたって前記内側部を加熱する、請求項1から10のいずれか一項に記載のサイドフォールディング装置。
- 前記電池ケースは、パウチフィルムを成形して製造され、
前記パウチフィルムは、
第1ポリマーで製造され、最内層に形成されるシーラント層と、
第2ポリマーで製造され、最外層に形成される表面保護層と、
合金番号AA80XX系のアルミニウム合金を含む金属で製造され、前記表面保護層と前記シーラント層との間に積層されるガスバリアー層とを含み、
前記ガスバリアー層は、厚さが50~80μmであり、
前記シーラント層は、厚さが60~100μmである、請求項1から11のいずれか一項に記載のサイドフォールディング装置。 - 前記加熱部は、内部に外部から電力の供給を受けて熱を発生させるヒーティングコイルを含む、請求項1から12のいずれか一項に記載のサイドフォールディング装置。
- 前記加熱部は、内部に流体が流動するチューブを含む、請求項1から12のいずれか一項に記載のサイドフォールディング装置。
- プレート形状を有するボディーを、サイドに隣接するように、二次電池の長さ方向に長く配置するステップと、
前記ボディーの一側に位置する加熱部が、前記サイドの相対的に内側に位置する内側部に接触して前記内側部を加熱するステップと、
前記ボディーが回転して、前記ボディーの他側に位置する加圧部が、前記サイドの相対的に外側に位置する外側部を加圧するステップとを含む、サイドフォールディング方法。 - 前記内側部を加熱するステップにおいて、前記加熱部は、165℃~220℃の温度で前記内側部を加熱する、請求項15に記載のサイドフォールディング方法。
- 前記内側部を加熱するステップにおいて、前記加熱部は、1秒~3秒の時間にわたって前記内側部を加熱する、請求項15または16に記載のサイドフォールディング方法。
- パウチ型二次電池の電池ケースのカップ部の外側に延長形成されたサイドをフォールディングするサイドフォールディング装置であって、
前記サイドを1次フォールディングする第1サイドフォールディング装置および前記サイドを2次フォールディングする第2サイドフォールディング装置を含み、
前記第1サイドフォールディング装置は、断面が円形である形状を有し、前記サイドに隣接するように、前記二次電池の長さ方向に長く配置される第1ボディーを含み、
前記第1ボディーは、前記サイドの相対的に内側に位置する内側部を加熱し、内側部がフォールディングされる方向に前記内側部を加圧し、
前記第2サイドフォールディング装置は、プレート形状を有し、前記サイドに隣接するように、前記二次電池の長さ方向に長く配置される第2ボディーとを含み、
前記第2ボディーは、
一側に位置し、前記サイドの相対的に内側に位置する内側部を加熱する加熱部と、
他側に位置し、前記サイドの相対的に外側に位置する外側部を加圧する加圧部とを含み、
前記第1サイドフォールディング装置が、前記第1ボディーを用いて、前記内側部を加熱加圧した後、前記第2サイドフォールディング装置の前記第2ボディーが前記カップ部に近くなる方向に移動し、前記加熱部が前記内側部を加熱し、前記加圧部が前記外側部を加圧することを特徴とする、サイドフォールディング装置。 - 前記カップ部は、下側に位置する第1カップ部および前記第1カップ部の上側に位置する第2カップ部を含み、
前記第1サイドフォールディング装置の前記第1ボディーは、前記第1カップ部から前記第2カップ部に向かう方向と同じ方向である下側から上側方向に移動しながら前記内側部を加熱および加圧することを特徴とする、請求項18に記載のサイドフォールディング装置。 - 前記第1サイドフォールディング装置が前記内側部を加熱加圧した後に、前記第2サイドフォールディング装置の前記第2ボディーがカップ部に近くなる方向に移動する際に、前記第2ボディーは、前記カップ部に近くなる方向に直線移動することを特徴とする、請求項18または19に記載のサイドフォールディング装置。
- 前記第2ボディーの前記直線移動は、前記カップ部の底部がなす平面と平行な仮想の平面に沿って移動する直線移動である、請求項20に記載のサイドフォールディング装置。
- パウチ型二次電池の電池ケースのカップ部の外側に延長形成されたサイドをフォールディングするサイドフォールディング方法であって、
第1サイドフォールディング装置を用いて、前記サイドを1次フォールディングする1次サイドフォールディングステップと、第2サイドフォールディング装置を用いて、前記サイドを2次フォールディングする2次サイドフォールディングステップとを含み、
前記1次サイドフォールディングステップは、断面が円形である形状を有し、前記サイドに隣接するように、前記二次電池の長さ方向に長く配置される第1ボディーを含む第1サイドフォールディング装置が、前記第1ボディーを用いて、前記サイドの相対的に内側に位置する内側部を加熱し、前記内側部がフォールディングされる方向に前記内側部を加圧するステップであり、
前記1次サイドフォールディングステップの後に行われる前記2次サイドフォールディングステップは、プレート形状を有し、前記サイドに隣接するように、前記二次電池の長さ方向に長く配置される第2ボディーを含む第2サイドフォールディング装置が、前記第2ボディーを、前記カップ部に近くなる方向に移動させ、一側の加熱部により前記内側部を加熱し、他側の加圧部により前記サイドの相対的に外側に位置する外側部を加圧するステップであることを特徴とする、サイドフォールディング方法。 - 前記カップ部は、下側に位置する第1カップ部および前記第1カップ部の上側に位置する第2カップ部を含み、
前記1次サイドフォールディングステップにおいて、前記第1サイドフォールディング装置の前記第1ボディーは、前記第1カップ部から前記第2カップ部に向かう方向と同じ方向である下側から上側方向に移動しながら前記内側部を加熱および加圧することを特徴とする、請求項22に記載のサイドフォールディング方法。 - 前記2次サイドフォールディングステップにおいて、前記第2サイドフォールディング装置の前記第2ボディーが前記カップ部に近くなる方向に移動する際に、前記第2ボディーは、前記カップ部に近くなる方向に直線移動することを特徴とする、請求項22または23に記載のサイドフォールディング方法。
- 前記第2ボディーの前記直線移動は、前記カップ部の底部がなす平面と平行な仮想の平面に沿って移動する直線移動であることを特徴とする、請求項24に記載のサイドフォールディング方法。
