Claims (32)
- マイクロニードルのアレイ、及びマイクロニードルを別々に作動させる手段を含む、哺乳動物の皮膚を介して生物活性剤を送達するための装置。
- 前記作動手段が、2つ以上のマイクロニードルを含む、マイクロニードルのアレイのサブセットを同時に作動させる、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記マイクロニードルのアレイのサブセットの同時作動が、1~60秒の期間にわたる作動を含む、請求項2に記載の装置。
- 哺乳動物の皮膚に付着するための手段をさらに含む皮膚上の装置であり、ここで前記皮膚に付着するための手段は、接着剤、ベルト、及びゴムバンドから選択される、請求項1~3のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 前記マイクロニードルが生物活性剤を含む、請求項1~4のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 前記マイクロニードルが生物活性剤でコーティングされている、請求項5に記載の装置。
- 前記マイクロニードルの遠位端の少なくとも一部が、生物活性剤を含む固体製剤である、請求項5に記載の装置。
- 前記生物活性剤が、小分子、ペプチド、タンパク質、抗体、融合タンパク質、DNA、及びRNAから選択される薬剤である、請求項1~7のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 前記生物活性剤がゴナルFなどの不妊治療薬である、請求項8に記載の装置。
- 前記生物活性剤がインスリンである、請求項8に記載の装置。
- 前記生物活性剤が癌治療剤である、請求項8に記載の装置。
- 前記マイクロニードルが、マイクロニードルの作動後に液体と接触して溶解し、それによって生物活性剤を哺乳動物に放出する、請求項1~11のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 前記作動手段が、アクチュエータ及び熱膨張性作動媒体を含む、請求項1~12のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 前記熱膨張性作動媒体が、パラフィンワックス、サーモスタットワックス、ポリエチレングリコール又はそれらの混合物を含む、請求項13に記載の装置。
- 熱膨張性作動媒体が、比較的高い融点及び高い熱膨張性を有する、請求項14に記載の装置。
- 前記作動手段がさらに熱源を含む、請求項13~15のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 前記熱源が、プリント回路基板を介して制御される抵抗などの電気熱源である、請求項16に記載の装置。
