Abstract
Description
一端部及び他端部にそれぞれ電極端子が形成され、内圧が所定以上に上昇する場合、気体を外部に排出するように開放されるベントユニットをそれぞれ備えた複数の電池セルと、
複数の電池セルを内部に収容する収容空間を有し、電池セルから排出された気体が外部に移動するように開口された複数の露出口が備えられたセルフレームと、
露出口を密閉するようにセルフレームに固定され、電池セルのベントユニットからガスが排出される場合、ガス圧力によって露出口に対応する領域が開放されるように構成されたスクリーン部材と、
スクリーン部材を固定するように構成され、露出口と対応する位置に形成された複数の連通口を備えた保護プレートと、を含む。
露出口を密閉するようにセルフレームの外面に密着し、ガス圧力によって露出口と対面する一部分が破裂して露出口を開放するように構成された耐熱シートを備え、
保護プレートは、耐熱シートがセルフレームの外面に固定されるように耐熱シートの外側に位置し得る。
連通口の外周縁から外側に突出したリブが備えられ得る。
連通口を密閉するように保護プレートに付着し、電池セルが爆発する場合、爆発圧力によって保護プレートから脱離するように構成された接着シートをさらに備え得る。
露出口を密閉するように露出口の内部に塗布されて形成された耐熱被膜を備え得る。

Claims (10)
- 一端部及び他端部にそれぞれ電極端子が形成された複数の電池セルであって、内圧が所定以上に上昇する場合、気体を外部に排出するように開放されるベントユニットを備えた複数の電池セルと、
前記複数の電池セルを内部に収容する収容空間を有するセルフレームであって、前記電池セルから排出された気体が外部に移動するように開口された複数の露出口が備えられたセルフレームと、
前記露出口を密閉するように前記セルフレームに固定され、前記電池セルのベントユニットからガスが排出される場合、ガス圧力によって前記露出口に対応する領域が開放されるように構成されたスクリーン部材と、
前記スクリーン部材を固定するように構成され、前記露出口と対応する位置に形成された複数の連通口を備えた保護プレートと、
を含む、バッテリーモジュール。 - 前記スクリーン部材は、
前記露出口を密閉するように前記セルフレームの外面に密着し、前記ガス圧力によって前記露出口と対面する一部分が破裂して前記露出口を開放するように構成された耐熱シートを備え、
前記保護プレートは、前記耐熱シートが前記セルフレームの外面に固定されるように前記耐熱シートの外側に位置している、請求項1に記載のバッテリーモジュール。 - 前記保護プレートは、前記連通口の外周縁から外側に突出したリブを備える、請求項2に記載のバッテリーモジュール。
- 前記保護プレートは、前記ガス圧力によって前記耐熱シートの前記露出口と対面する一部分が膨張する場合、前記耐熱シートの一部分を切り取るように構成された切取針をさらに備える、請求項2に記載のバッテリーモジュール。
- 前記耐熱シートは、他の部分に比べて相対的にシートが薄く形成された破裂部を備える、請求項2に記載のバッテリーモジュール。
- 前記スクリーン部材は、
前記連通口を密閉するように前記保護プレートに付着し、前記電池セルが爆発する場合、爆発圧力によって前記保護プレートから脱離するように構成された接着シートをさらに備える、請求項1に記載のバッテリーモジュール。 - 前記スクリーン部材は、
前記露出口を密閉するように前記露出口の内部に塗布されて形成された耐熱被膜を備える、請求項1に記載のバッテリーモジュール。 - 前記セルフレームを内部に収容するように構成された内部空間と、前記電池セルから排出されたガスを臨時に収容するように外壁と前記セルフレームとが離隔して形成され、前記連通口と連通された滞留空間と、を有するモジュールケースをさらに含む、請求項1に記載のバッテリーモジュール。
- 請求項1から8のいずれか一項に記載のバッテリーモジュールを少なくとも一つ含む、バッテリーパック。
- 請求項1から8のいずれか一項に記載のバッテリーモジュールを少なくとも一つ含む、自動車。
