Abstract
Description
図1は、第1実施形態による電解システム10の構成を示す概略図である。電解システム10は、水源12と、二酸化炭素源14と、ヒータ16と、電解装置18と、炭化水素生成装置20とを有する。
図6は、第2実施形態による電解システム10の構成を示す概略図である。図6では、第1実施形態において説明した構成要素と同等の構成要素には同一の符号が付されている。なお、本実施形態では、第1実施形態と重複する説明は割愛する。
第1実施形態または第2実施形態の電解装置18は、複数有してもよい。この場合、各電解装置18のカソード入口部41は、混合ガス流路34に対して並列接続される。同様に、各電解装置18のカソード出口部42は、水素含有ガス流路38に対して並列接続される。同様に、各電解装置18のアノード入口部43およびアノード出口部44は、酸素ガス流路36に対して並列接続される。

Claims (8)
- 電解質膜と、前記電解質膜を挟持するカソード電極およびアノード電極である一対の電極とを含み、二酸化炭素ガスおよび水蒸気を含む混合ガスを電解する電解装置と、前記電解により生成される水素含有ガスに基づいて炭化水素を生成する炭化水素生成装置と、を有する電解システムであって、
前記カソード電極に前記混合ガスを供給するか、前記アノード電極に酸素ガスを供給するかを切り替える弁装置と、
前記一対の電極間の電流を計測する電流計と、
前記混合ガスが前記電解装置に供給されている状態において、前記電流が所定の第1閾値を下回った場合に、前記弁装置を制御して、前記電解装置への供給を前記混合ガスから前記酸素ガスに切り替え、前記カソード電極に析出する炭素を前記酸素ガスと化学反応させる制御装置と、
を備える、電解システム。 - 請求項1に記載の電解システムであって、
前記酸素ガスが前記電解装置に供給されている状態において、前記電流が所定の第2閾値を下回った場合に、前記制御装置は、前記弁装置を制御して、前記電解装置への供給を前記酸素ガスから前記混合ガスに切り替える、電解システム。 - 請求項2に記載の電解システムであって、
前記制御装置は、前記電流に基づいて、前記混合ガスを電解する電解モードと、前記カソード電極に析出する炭素を消費する消費モードとのいずれかを前記電解装置に実行させる、電解システム。 - 請求項1~3のいずれか1項に記載の電解システムであって、
前記化学反応により生成された前記二酸化炭素ガスを貯留する二酸化炭素タンクを備え、
前記弁装置は、前記二酸化炭素タンクに貯留された前記二酸化炭素ガスと前記水蒸気とを含む前記混合ガスを前記カソード電極に供給する、電解システム。 - 請求項3または4に記載の電解システムであって、
前記弁装置は、前記混合ガスに含まれる前記二酸化炭素ガスを、前記二酸化炭素タンクと、前記二酸化炭素タンク以外の二酸化炭素源との少なくとも一方から供給可能であり、
前記二酸化炭素タンク内のガス圧が所定の下限値を下回った場合に、前記制御装置は、前記弁装置を制御して、前記二酸化炭素源からの前記二酸化炭素ガスの供給を開始する、電解システム。 - 請求項1~5のいずれか1項に記載の電解システムであって、
前記電解により前記アノード電極に生成される前記酸素ガスを貯留する酸素タンクを備え、
前記弁装置は、前記酸素タンクから前記酸素ガスを前記カソード電極に供給する、電解システム。 - 請求項6に記載の電解システムであって、
前記制御装置は、前記電解により前記アノード電極に生成される前記酸素ガスを、前記酸素タンク内のガス圧が所定の上限値になるまで前記酸素タンクに貯留させる、電解システム。 - 請求項1に記載の電解システムであって、
前記電解質膜と前記一対の電極とを含み、前記混合ガスを電解する第2電解装置を有し、
前記弁装置は、前記第2電解装置の前記カソード電極に前記混合ガスを供給することにより、前記電解装置の前記アノード電極に前記酸素ガスを供給する、電解システム。
