本発明では、ハウジング凸部がケース凹部に嵌合するようにしてハウジングをケースの内部空間に設けることにより、ハウジングをケースに対し相対回転不能に固定できる。また、ハウジングの回り止めのためにハウジングに貫通穴およびピンを設ける必要がなく、部材点数の増大を抑制できるとともに、ハウジングを変速機ケースの内部空間に設ける場合であっても、変速機ケース内の変速機オイル等の液体が貫通穴を経由してハウジングの収容空間に侵入するといった事態を回避できる。さらに、ハウジング凸部およびハウジング凹部は、ハウジングの肉厚の小さな部位に形成できるため、例えばプレス等の塑性加工により安価に形成可能であり、ハウジングの軸長を小さくすることができる。
ハウジング板部は、環状に形成されている。ハウジング凸部は、ハウジング板部の軸から径方向に所定距離離れた位置に形成されている。
