When manufacturing such a filter, it is required that the filter member can be firmly attached to the support member and that the filter member can be easily attached to the support member. The present specification provides a technique that enables the filter member to be firmly attached to the support member and the operation of attaching the filter member to the support member to be performed easily.
This specification discloses a filter. The filter has a substantially cylindrical shape and includes a radially elastically deformable filter member, a support member having a holding portion capable of holding the filter member, and a flow path through which a fluid passes, A channel member fixed to the support member may be provided. When the filter member is attached to the support member, the channel may communicate with the space inside the filter member. An outermost diameter of the holding portion may be larger than an inner diameter of the filter member when no load is applied. When the filter member is attached to the support member, the outer surface of the holding portion may partially contact the inner surface of the filter member in the circumferential direction, and the remaining portion may contact the inner surface of the filter member. They do not have to be in contact with each other.
In the above configuration, since the filter member is attached to the holding portion in a state in which the diameter of the filter member is expanded as compared to when no load is applied, the elastic restoring force of the filter member strongly presses the inner surface of the filter member against the outer surface of the holding portion. can be firmly attached to the support member. Further, in the above configuration, the outer surface of the holding portion is partially in contact with the inner surface of the filter member in the circumferential direction, and the remaining portion is not in contact with the inner surface of the filter member, so that the filter member is attached to the support member. In this case, the inner surface of the filter member can be brought into contact with the outer surface of the holding portion by partially expanding the diameter of the filter member without the need to expand the diameter of the filter member over the entire circumference. With such a configuration, the work of attaching the filter member to the support member can be easily performed.

Moreover, all numerical ranges and groupings or populations are intended to disclose configurations intermediate therebetween as limitations on the original disclosure as well as the specific subject matter claimed.
In one or more embodiments, the filter has a substantially cylindrical shape and includes a radially elastically deformable filter member, a support member having a holding portion capable of holding the filter member, and a fluid. A channel member may be provided which has a channel therethrough and is fixed to the support member.
In one or more embodiments, the retainer may have at least two chamfers. In the at least two chamfered portions, the outer surface of the holding portion may not be in contact with the inner surface of the filter member.
In the above configuration, since the inner surface of the filter member and the outer surface of the holding portion do not abut on at least two chamfered portions, the work of attaching the filter member to the support member can be performed more easily.
In one or more embodiments, the filter member may be a coil spring.
According to the above configuration, the cost of manufacturing the filter can be further reduced by using the coil spring, which is inexpensive and readily available, as the filter member.
In one or more embodiments, the support member may further comprise a locking portion positioned adjacent to the holding portion with respect to the axial direction of the filter member. An outer diameter of the locking portion may be smaller than the outermost diameter of the holding portion.
In the above configuration, when the filter member is attached to the support member, part of the filter member enters the locking portion. At this time, since the outer diameter of the locking portion is smaller than the outermost diameter of the holding portion, the inner diameter of the filter member inserted into the locking portion is smaller than the outermost diameter of the holding portion. This causes engagement between the filter member and the support member. With such a configuration, it is possible to prevent the filter member from unexpectedly coming off the support member.
In one or more embodiments, the support member and the channel member may be integrally formed.
According to the above configuration, it is possible to reduce the number of parts of the filter.
In one or more embodiments, the fluid may be lubricating oil used in chain saws.
According to the above configuration, in the lubricating oil filter used in the chain saw, the filter member can be firmly attached to the support member, and the operation of attaching the filter member to the support member can be performed easily.
In one or more embodiments, a chain saw includes a saw chain, a guide bar to which the saw chain is attached, a sprocket for running the saw chain along the circumference of the guide bar, and a sprocket connected to the sprocket. an oil pump connected to the output shaft; an oil tank for storing lubricating oil; an introduction pipe for sending the lubricating oil from the oil tank to the oil pump; A lead-out pipe for sending the lubricating oil to the guide bar and a filter provided in the lead-in pipe inside the oil tank may be provided.

As shown in FIG. 4 , a
As shown in FIG. 5, a

As shown in FIG. 4,

As shown in FIG. 4, the leading end of the
A
As shown in FIG. 8, the
As shown in FIG. 10, a
As shown in FIG. 11, the outer surface of the
As shown in FIG. 10, when the
In the

As described above, in one or more embodiments, the

In one or more embodiments,
