Abstract
Description
「フィルム」とは、長さ、幅及び厚さ(キャリパー)を有するシート構造体であって、長さ及び幅のそれぞれが厚さを大幅に上回る、すなわち、1000倍以上であり、各層が1つ以上の熱可塑性ポリマー樹脂(それらのブレンドを含む)で形成された実質的に連続した構造体である1層(単層)又は複数のそれぞれの隣接層(多層)を有する構造体を意味する。
図1~図5Cを参照すると、壊れにくく圧縮可能な使い捨て吸収性物品10(例えば、使い捨ておむつ、トレーニングパンツ、又は成人失禁パンツなど)の小売りパッケージ49は、ポリマーフィルムから形成され得る。フィルム層は単一層(単層)であってもよいし、2層、3層、又はそれよりも多い層(多層)を有してもよい。多層フィルムは、例えば、第1のポリマーで形成された外部スキン層と、第2のポリマーで形成された内部スキン層とを有することができる。(本明細書で使用するとき、用語「外部」及び「内部」とは、完成したパッケージの内側及び外側に対する層の位置決めを指し、したがって、「内層」は収容された製品に面し、「外層」は外方に面し、例えば、小売店の買い物客などによる閲覧及び接触に晒される外面を有する。)

本明細書で検討される多層フィルムは、その他の層の間に配置された1つ以上の結合層を含んでもよい。隣接層のポリマーが、その他の方法で押出中に互いに結合するように混和性又は相溶性でない場合、結合層が必要となる場合がある。例えば、ポリエチレンのスキン層とポリ乳酸含量の大きい中間層との間の結合層が望ましいと見なされ得る。このため、例えば、3つの主層(2つのスキン層及びその間に配置された中間層)を有する多層フィルムでは、結合層は各スキン層と中間層との間に配置することができる。結合層は、1つ以上の官能化ポリオレフィンを含むことができる。いくつかの実施例では、結合層は、結合層の5重量%、10重量%、20重量%、30重量%、40重量%又は45重量%から55重量%、60重量%、70重量%、80重量%、90重量%、又は100重量%の、1つ以上の官能化ポリオレフィンを含むことができる。結合層は、本質的に1つ以上の官能化ポリオレフィンから構成されてもよい。
多層フィルムの層のいずれも、少量の1つ以上の添加剤を含むことができる。典型的には、添加剤は、添加剤層の約10重量%、5重量%、4重量%、3重量%、2重量%、1重量%、0.5重量%、0.1重量%、又は0.01重量%未満を構成してもよい。想到される添加剤の種類のいくつかの非限定例として、香料、染料、顔料、ナノ粒子、帯電防止剤、充填剤、及びこれらの組み合わせが挙げられる。本明細書に開示される層は、単一の添加剤又は添加剤の混合物を含有してよい。例えば、香料及び着色剤(例えば、顔料及び/又は染料)の両方が存在してよい。
図6A及び図7Aを参照すると、使い捨ておむつ、トレーニングパンツ、又は成人失禁パンツなどの使い捨て吸収性物品の積層体を収容するフィルムパッケージには、開封後に開封されたパッケージを未使用製品の供給物を保存する容器として用いることができるように、パッケージの望ましくない変形又は破壊を伴わない開封を促進する特徴を付与することができる。
本明細書に開示した寸法及び値は、記載された正確な数値に厳密に限定されるものと理解されるべきではない。むしろ、特に指定がない限り、そのような各寸法は、記載された値及びその値の周辺の機能的に同等の範囲の両方を意味することを意図している。
Claims (8)
- 複数の使い捨て吸収性物品を含むパッケージであって、
折り畳まれた使い捨て物品の積層体を包囲して包装し、これにより略直方体形状を取って前記パッケージを形成する可撓性高分子フィルムであって、前記パッケージは、第1の方向に面してパッケージ幅を画定する第1の表面と、前記第1の表面の隣接し、第2の方向に面してパッケージ長さを画定する第2の表面と、前記第1の表面と前記第2の表面とのコーナー交差点と、を含む複数の外向きに面する表面を含む、フィルムと、
前記パッケージングの開封を促進する前記フィルムにおけるミシン目又はスコアリングの経路であって、前記経路は、前記パッケージのために、その最初の開封後に再閉鎖可能な天蓋構造を画定するように、前記パッケージの全外周よりも短い第1の長さを延在する、経路と、
前記ミシン目又はスコアリングの経路に近接して配置されて第2の長さを延在する図形的印と、を含み、
前記第2の長さは前記第1の長さより短く、
前記図形的印は、前記パッケージ幅のある割合を前記第1の表面に沿って、前記コーナー交差点に沿って、かつ前記前記パッケージ長さのある割合を前記第2の表面に沿って、延在し、
前記パッケージ幅の前記ある割合は前記パッケージ長さの前記ある割合よりも大きい、パッケージ。 - 前記ミシン目又はスコアリングの経路は第1及び第2の終点を含み、前記第1及び第2の終点のうちの少なくとも一方は、好ましくは両方は、引裂応力分散機構を備える、請求項1に記載のパッケージ。
- 前記ミシン目又はスコアリングの経路は、少なくとも0.67:1かつ3:1以下のカット-ランド比を有するミシン目の経路を含む、請求項1又は2に記載のパッケージ。
- 前記ミシン目又はスコアリングの経路はガセット構造を横断しない、請求項1~3のいずれか一項に記載のパッケージ。
- 前記フィルムは多層フィルムである、請求項1~4のいずれか一項に記載のパッケージ。
- 前記積層体の第1の側面及び第2の側面のうちの1つに隣接して配置された運搬ハンドルを備える、請求項1~5のいずれか一項に記載のパッケージ。
- 前記第2のパッケージ表面から延在する端部シームフィンを備え、前記運搬ハンドルは前記端部シームフィンの延長部から形成されている、請求項6に記載のパッケージ。
- 前記複数の使い捨て吸収性物品は二つ折りおむつを備える、請求項1~8のいずれか一項に記載のパッケージ。
