Abstract
Description
液化ガスを液化ガス貯蔵タンクに貯蔵することと、
高圧ポンプを用いて液化ガスを高圧気化器に圧送することと、
高圧気化器内の高圧液化ガスを気化することと、
気化した高圧ガスをエンジンに供給することと、を備え、
高圧ポンプは2つ以上の個別に動作するポンプ・ユニットを備え、各ポンプ・ユニットはポンプ・シリンダに摺動可能に配置されたポンプ・ピストン、及びポンプ・ピストンを駆動するためにポンプ・ピストンに結合された液圧駆動ピストンを備え、方法は更に、
個別に駆動ピストンを駆動するために、高圧の作動液を駆動シリンダに個々に供給することと、
駆動シリンダに供給される作動液の圧力を個々に制御することによって、高圧ポンプを離れる液化ガスの圧力を制御することと、を備える。
Claims (1)
- 高圧ガスを大型2ストローク圧縮点火内燃エンジンに供給するための燃料供給システムであって、前記エンジンには供給された高圧ガスを前記エンジンの燃焼室に噴射するための燃料噴射システムが設けられ、前記燃料供給システムは、
液化ガスを液化ガス貯蔵タンク(8)から高圧ポンプ(40)へ移送するために、前記液化ガス貯蔵タンク(8)の出口を前記高圧ポンプ(40)の入口に接続するフィード管(9)と、
高圧液化ガスを前記高圧ポンプ(40)から高圧気化器(14)へ移送するために、前記高圧ポンプ(40)の出口を前記高圧気化器(14)の入口に接続する移送管(50)と、
高圧の気化ガスを前記エンジンの前記燃料噴射システムへ移送するために、前記高圧気化器(14)の出口を前記エンジンの前記燃料噴射システムの入口に接続する供給管(18)と、
電子制御ユニット(70)と、
を備え、
前記高圧ポンプ(40)は、2つ以上の個別の、そして個々に動作する極低温ポンプ・ユニット(41、42、43)を備え、
前記各極低温ポンプ・ユニット(41、42、43)は、ポンプ・シリンダ(61)内に摺動可能に配置された単一のポンプピストン(62)と、前記ポンプピストン(62)を駆動するための単一のピストンロッド(49)によって前記単一のポンプピストン(62)に結合され、駆動シリンダ(45)に摺動可能に配置された単一の液圧駆動ピストン(46)とを備え、
前記各極低温ポンプユニット(41、42、43)は、互いに機械的に独立しており、前記電子制御ユニット(70)によって個別に制御および操作される、
