Various water tubes arranged inside the housing 2 will be described with reference to FIGS. 1 to 6 . In the water pipe described below, the side close to the water supply portion 14 is called upstream, and the side close to the water discharge portion 15 is called downstream. The water heater 1 includes a water supply pipe 7 , a relay pipe 8 , a water discharge pipe 9 and a bypass pipe 16 .

The water supply pipe 7 is a water pipe that connects the water supply unit 14 and the secondary heat exchanger 6 . As shown in FIGS. 2 to 4, the water supply pipe 7 includes, in order from upstream, a connection portion 71, an extension portion 72, a first water supply pipe portion 73, a second water supply pipe portion 74, a third water supply pipe portion 75, and a first water supply pipe portion 75. A joint 76 is provided. As shown in FIGS. 2 and 3 , the connection portion 71 is the most upstream portion of the water supply pipe 7 and is the portion connected to the water supply portion 14 . As shown in FIG. 2, the upstream end of the connection portion 71 is connected to the water supply portion 14 on the right side of the fan 3 from the front side. The connection portion 71 extends forward from the water supply portion 14 to substantially the same position as the front portion of the combustion device 4, and then extends upward and to the left. The downstream end of the connecting portion 71 is arranged on the right side of the fan 3 . As shown in FIG. 3, the extending portion 72 is connected from the rear to the downstream end of the connecting portion 71 via a joint 71A that bends approximately 90 degrees from the upper end of the connecting portion 71 toward the rear. It is a portion that extends substantially horizontally toward the rear surface 25 of the housing 2 at a substantially central position in the left-right direction. As shown in FIGS. 3 and 4 , the extending portion 72 extends rearward along the lower surface of the combustion device 4 on the right side of the fan 3 . As shown in FIG. 4 , the rear end portion, which is the downstream end of the extended portion 72 , extends to a position slightly forward of the rear surface of the combustion device 4 . That is, the upstream portion of the water supply pipe 7 configured by the connecting portion 71 and the extending portion 72 spirally extends from the water supply portion 14 toward the rear surface 25 of the housing 2 .

As shown in FIGS. 2 and 4, the first water supply pipe portion 73 extends rightward from the rear end of the extension portion 72 to the downstream end of the extension portion 72 via a joint 72A that bends about 90 degrees to the right. , and extends substantially horizontally to the right along the rear surface 25 of the housing 2 at the rear portion of the inner trunk portion 10 . The right end portion, which is the downstream end of the first water supply pipe portion 73 , extends to a position immediately to the right of the right surface of the combustion device 4 . As shown in FIG. 4, the second water supply pipe portion 74 extends forward from the right end of the first water supply pipe portion 73 to the downstream end of the first water supply pipe portion 73 via a joint 73A that bends forward at approximately 90 degrees. , and extends substantially horizontally forward along the right surface of the housing 2 at a lower position of the combustion device 4 . As shown in FIGS. 3 and 4 , the front end, which is the downstream end of the second water supply pipe portion 74 , extends forward to substantially the same position as the front wall 615 of the box 61 of the secondary heat exchanger 6 .

As shown in FIGS. 3 and 4 , the third water supply pipe portion 75 is the most downstream portion of the water supply pipe 7 . The third water supply pipe portion 75 is connected from above to the downstream end of the second water supply pipe portion 74 via a joint 74A that bends approximately 90 degrees upward from the front end portion of the second water supply pipe portion 74, and the housing 2 extends upward along the right side 24 of the and connects to the secondary heat exchanger 6 at its downstream end. As shown in FIG. 4 , a third connecting portion 621 communicating with the upstream end of the above-described second heat transfer tube is provided at the lower front portion of the right wall 614 of the box 61 of the secondary heat exchanger 6 . As shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, the third water supply pipe portion 75 extends obliquely rearward and upward from a portion slightly above the central portion in the vertical direction. The first joint portion 76 is a joint joined to the upper end, which is the downstream end of the third water supply pipe portion 75, from above. The first joint portion 76 bends leftward from below at approximately 45 degrees, and is joined to the third connection portion 621 at the left end, which is the downstream end. As a result, the tap water supplied from the water supply unit 14 is guided to the second heat transfer pipe inside the secondary heat exchanger 6 via the water supply pipe 7 . Therefore, in the secondary heat exchanger 6, heat exchange is performed in which the thermal energy of the latent heat of the combustion exhaust gas passing through the inside of the box 61 is transferred to the water flowing through the second heat transfer tube. The second water supply pipe portion 74 and the third water supply pipe portion 75 are arranged at substantially the same position in the left-right direction.

The relay pipe 8 is a water pipe that connects the primary heat exchanger 5 and the secondary heat exchanger 6 . As shown in FIGS. 4 to 6, the relay pipe 8 includes a second joint portion 810, a first relay pipe portion 81, a second relay pipe portion 82 and a third joint portion 83 in order from upstream. A fourth connection portion 622 communicating with the downstream end of the second heat transfer tube is provided at the lower rear portion of the right wall 614 of the box 61 of the secondary heat exchanger 6 . The second joint portion 810 is a joint joined to the fourth connection portion 622 from the right side. The second joint portion 810 bends downward from the left at approximately 90 degrees, and joins the first relay pipe portion 81 at the lower end, which is the downstream end. The first relay pipe portion 81 includes a downward extension pipe portion 811 and a forward extension pipe portion 812 . The downward extension pipe portion 811 is a portion of the first relay pipe portion 81 on the upstream side. The downward extension pipe portion 811 is connected to the second joint portion 810 at the upper end, which is the upstream end, and extends along the right wall 514 of the primary heat exchanger 5 and the right end of the combustion device 4 to the right side of the housing 2. Extends downward along surface 24 . A lower end portion, which is a downstream end of the downward extension pipe portion 811 , extends downward to a position closer to the lower portion of the combustion device 4 . The downward extension pipe portion 811 is arranged at substantially the same position in the horizontal direction as the third water supply pipe portion 75 of the water supply pipe 7 described above.

The forward extension pipe portion 812 is connected from the front to the downstream end of the downward extension pipe portion 811 via a joint 81A that bends approximately 90 degrees forward from the lower end portion of the downward extension pipe portion 811, and extends substantially horizontally toward the front. It is the part that extends to The downward extension pipe portion 811 is arranged at substantially the same position as the second water supply pipe portion 74 in the left-right direction with a gap of about two water pipes above the second water supply pipe portion 74 of the water supply pipe 7 described above. be. That is, the front extension pipe portion 812 extends in the front-rear direction at a position substantially right above the second water supply pipe portion 74 . The front end, which is the downstream end of the front extension pipe portion 812, is slightly enlarged in diameter and opens forward. A flange-shaped opening 813 is provided on the outer edge of the opening. In the water heater 1, by arranging the front extension pipe portion 812 below the primary heat exchanger 5, when the combustion device 4 shifts from the combustion state to the non-combustion state, The backflow of hot water toward the secondary heat exchanger 6 is reduced.

The second relay pipe portion 82 is a water pipe that has a connection portion 821 that connects to the opening 813 of the forward extension pipe portion 812 at its upstream end, and that connects the first relay pipe portion 81 and the primary heat exchanger 5 . The connecting portion 821 is configured by forming a flange having substantially the same size as the opening portion 813 on the outer edge of the opening of the upstream end of the second relay pipe portion 82 that opens toward the rear. The second relay pipe portion 82 is connected from the front to the opening portion 813 of the front extension pipe portion 812 at the connection portion 821 . A holding member 8A for holding the connected state of the water pipes is attached from the outside to the portion where the connecting portion 821 and the opening portion 813 are connected. In this embodiment, the holding member 8A is a quick fastener.

In the water heater 1 , the opening 813 of the forward extension pipe portion 812 and the connection portion 821 of the second relay pipe portion 82 are positioned closer to the front side of the gas distribution unit 41 provided on the front side of the combustion device 4 , that is, from the inner trunk portion 10 . placed anteriorly. As a result, even if the space between the right portion of the combustion device 4, that is, the right end portion of the inner body portion 10, and the right side surface 24 of the housing 2 is narrow, the opening 813 and the connection portion 821 are formed in a flange shape. The parts are placed without interfering with the right end and right side 24 of the inner barrel 10 . Moreover, the holding member 8A attached to the portion where the opening 813 and the connecting portion 821 are connected is prevented from interfering with the right end portion and the right side surface 24 of the inner trunk portion 10 . As shown in FIG. 3, the holding member 8A is attached from left to right as indicated by an arrow Y to the portion where the opening 813 and the connecting portion 821 are connected. Therefore, even if the space between the inner body portion 10 and the right side surface 24 is narrow, the operator who assembles and maintains the water heater 1 can easily access the opening 813 without being hindered by the right side surface 24 . The holding member 8A can be appropriately attached to the portion to which the connecting portion 821 is connected. Therefore, the state in which the downstream end of the first relay pipe portion 81 and the upstream end of the second relay pipe portion 82 are connected is appropriately maintained.

As shown in FIGS. 2 and 5 , a first connecting portion 521 communicating with the upstream end of the first heat transfer pipe 52 is provided at the lower front portion of the right wall 514 of the peripheral wall 51 of the primary heat exchanger 5 . As shown in FIG. 5, the second relay pipe portion 82 extends substantially horizontally from the connection portion 821 to a position in front of the third water supply pipe portion 75 of the water supply pipe 7, and then extends upward from the rear at approximately 90 degrees. It is bent upward by the joint 82A that bends upward, and extends upward substantially vertically to a position substantially in the center of the combustion device 4 in the vertical direction. The second relay pipe portion 82 is bent rearward from a position substantially in the vertical direction of the combustion device 4 by a joint 82B that bends approximately 90 degrees from below toward the rear, and extends approximately to a position in the front portion of the combustion device 4. extend horizontally. Further, the second relay pipe portion 82 is bent upward by a joint 82C that bends approximately 90 degrees upward from the front and extends substantially vertically upward. The third joint portion 83 is a joint joined to the upper end, which is the downstream end of the second relay pipe portion 82, from above. The third joint portion 83 bends leftward from below at approximately 90 degrees and connects to the first connection portion 521 from the right side. That is, the second relay pipe portion 82 extends along the right side surface 24 of the housing 2 while bending along the right wall 514 of the primary heat exchanger 5 and the right end portion of the combustion device 4 . The first relay pipe portion 81 and the second relay pipe portion 82 are arranged at the same position in the left-right direction. The water heated by the secondary heat exchanger 6 and flowing out is guided to the first heat transfer pipe 52 inside the primary heat exchanger 5 via the relay pipe 8 . Therefore, in the primary heat exchanger 5 , heat exchange is performed in which the thermal energy of the sensible heat of the combustion exhaust gas passing through the inside of the peripheral wall 51 is transferred to the water flowing through the first heat transfer tubes 52 .

The second water supply pipe portion 74, the third water supply pipe portion 75, the first relay pipe portion 81, and the second relay pipe portion 82 are arranged at substantially the same position in the left-right direction. That is, as shown in FIG. 1, the second water supply pipe portion 74, the third water supply pipe portion 75, the first relay pipe portion 81, and the second relay pipe portion 82 are located between the right end portion of the inner body portion 10 and the housing 2. In the narrow space M provided between the right side surface 24, they are arranged side by side in the same position when viewed from the front. As described above, the width of the gap between the right end portion of the inner body portion 10 and the right side surface 24 of the housing 2 is about the width of one water pipe. In other words, the water heater 1 is provided with a narrow space M having a width corresponding to the outer diameters of the water supply pipe 7 and the relay pipe 8 in the left-right direction between the right end portion of the inner body portion 10 and the right side surface 24 of the housing 2. , the second water supply pipe portion 74, the third water supply pipe portion 75, the first relay pipe portion 81 and the second relay pipe portion 82 are accommodated. In this way, the water heater 1 has the second water supply pipe portion 74, the third water supply pipe portion 75, the first relay pipe portion 81, and the second relay pipe portion 82 compactly arranged in the narrow space M, 2 miniaturization has been achieved.

The water outlet pipe 9 is a water pipe that connects the primary heat exchanger 5 and the water outlet section 15 . As shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, the water discharge pipe 9 includes a first water discharge pipe portion 91, a second water discharge pipe portion 92 and a third water discharge pipe portion 93 in order from upstream. As shown in FIG. 3 , the first water discharge pipe portion 91 is the most upstream portion of the water discharge pipe 9 . A second connecting portion 522 that communicates with the downstream end of the first heat transfer pipe 52 is provided in the front upper portion of the left wall 513 of the peripheral wall 51 of the primary heat exchanger 5 . The first water discharge pipe portion 91 is connected to the second connection portion 522 from the left at the upper end portion, which is the upstream end, and is arranged to avoid interference with the folded portion of the first heat transfer pipe 52 projecting from the left wall 513. After extending forward and downward from the connecting portion 522 , it extends downward along the front end portion of the left wall 513 and the front end portion of the combustion device 4 to a position above the combustion device 4 . Furthermore, the first water discharge pipe portion 91 is bent rearward and downward from the upper portion of the combustion device 4 by a joint 91A that bends from the upper portion to the rearward and downward at approximately 45 degrees, and the lower end portion is connected to the second connection portion 522 in the front-rear direction. to approximately the same position in

The second water outlet pipe portion 92 is an intermediate portion of the water outlet pipe 9 . As shown in FIG. 3, the second water discharge pipe portion 92 has a first discharge pipe portion 92 at its upper end, which is the upstream end, through a joint 91B that bends downward from the lower end portion of the first water discharge pipe portion 91 at approximately 45 degrees. It is connected to the lower end of the water tube portion 91 from below. The second water outlet pipe portion 92 extends along the left wall 513 of the primary heat exchanger 5 and the left end portion of the combustion device 4, along the left side surface 23 of the housing 2, and extends substantially vertically to the lower left position of the fan 3. extending downwards. The third water outlet pipe portion 93 is the most downstream portion of the water outlet pipe 9 . The third water discharge pipe portion 93 has a lower end portion of the second water discharge pipe portion 92 via a joint 92B that bends approximately 45 degrees toward the lower right from the lower end portion of the second water discharge pipe portion 92 at the upper end portion that is the upstream end. is connected to the fan 3 from below, extends downward to the right from the connected portion, and is connected to the water outlet 15 arranged below the fan 3 from the front. As a result, the hot water heated by the primary heat exchanger 5 and flowing out is guided to the water outlet 15 through the water outlet pipe 9 . In the water heater 1, the water discharge pipe 9 is arranged on the left side of the inner body 10 opposite to the water supply pipe 7 and the relay pipe 8, so that the water discharge pipe 9 interferes with the water supply pipe 7 and the relay pipe 8. avoiding that.

The bypass pipe 16 is a water pipe that connects the water supply unit 14 and the water discharge pipe 9 without passing through the primary heat exchanger 5 and the secondary heat exchanger 6 . As shown in FIGS. 2 to 5, the bypass pipe 16 includes a first bypass pipe portion 161 and a second bypass pipe portion 162 in order from upstream. As shown in FIGS. 2 , 3 and 5 , the first bypass pipe portion 161 is the upstream portion of the bypass pipe 16 . The first bypass pipe portion 161 connects to the water supply portion 14 below the connection portion 71 of the water supply pipe 7 . Below the connecting portion 71 , the first bypass pipe portion 161 extends forward from the water supply portion 14 to substantially the same position as the front portion of the combustion device 4 and then extends leftward to a position on the right side of the fan 3 . Furthermore, the first bypass pipe portion 161 is bent rearward and upward by a joint 16A that bends approximately 90 degrees rearward and upward from the right side, and extends from a position on the right side of the fan 3 toward the rear surface 25 of the housing 2. It extends rearward and upward below 72 . As shown in FIG. 4 , the rear end portion, which is the downstream end of the first bypass pipe portion 161 , extends to a position slightly forward of the rear surface of the combustion device 4 and directly below the rear end portion of the extended portion 72 of the water supply pipe 7 . position. In this manner, the first bypass pipe portion 161 extends rearward so as to pass under the extended portion 72 of the water supply pipe 7 . By securing a space for arranging the extending portion 72 of the water supply pipe 7 on the right side of the fan 3, the water heater 1 can also arrange the first bypass pipe portion 161 below the space. That is, the water heater 1 does not need to provide a separate space near the fan 3 for arranging the first bypass pipe portion 161 .

As shown in FIG. 4, the second bypass pipe portion 162 extends from the rear end of the first bypass pipe portion 161 to the downstream end of the first bypass pipe portion 161 via a joint 16B that bends approximately 90 degrees to the left. Connect from the left. The second bypass pipe portion 162 extends substantially horizontally leftward from the joint 16B to a position on the left side of the combustion device 4 along the rear surface 25 of the housing 2 on the lower side of the combustion device 4 . Since the second bypass pipe portion 162 extends in the left direction opposite to the right direction in which the first water supply pipe portion 73 of the water supply pipe 7 extends from a position directly below the rear end portion of the extending portion 72 of the water supply pipe 7, At a position close to the rear surface 25 of the body 2, the bypass pipe 16 and the water supply pipe 7 do not interfere.

As shown in FIG. 3, the second bypass pipe portion 162 extending leftward to the left side of the combustion device 4 is bent upward and forward by a joint 16C that bends approximately 90 degrees upward and forward from the right. , is connected to the second outlet pipe portion 92 of the outlet pipe 9 from the rear. A portion of the second bypass pipe portion 162 extending forward and upward is arranged at the same position as the second water discharge pipe portion 92 in the left-right direction. That is, when viewed from the front, the portion of the second bypass pipe portion 162 extending forward and upward is arranged at the same position as the second water discharge pipe portion 92 . As described above, the width of the gap between the left end portion of the inner body portion 10 and the left side surface 23 of the housing 2 is about the width of one water pipe. That is, the water heater 1 is configured such that the portion of the second bypass pipe portion 162 that is arranged on the left side of the inner body portion 10 and the first water discharge pipe portion 91 and the second water discharge pipe portion 92 of the water discharge pipe 9 are separated from each other by the inner body. It is housed in a narrow space N provided between the left end portion of the portion 10 and the left side surface 23 of the housing 2 . In this manner, the water heater 1 achieves the miniaturization of the housing 2 . The water discharge unit 15 adjusts the amount of water supplied from the bypass pipe 16 to the water discharge pipe 9 and discharges hot water at an appropriate temperature to the outside of the housing 2 .

As described above, the water heater 1 is provided between the inner body portion 10 and the right side surface 24 of the housing 2, and in the narrow space M having a width corresponding to the outer diameter of the water supply pipe 7 and the relay pipe 8, The second water supply pipe portion 74, the third water supply pipe portion 75, the first water supply pipe portion 73, and the second water supply pipe portion 74 are laid. That is, the second water supply pipe portion 74, the third water supply pipe portion 75, the first relay pipe portion 81, and the second relay pipe portion 82 are arranged side by side at the same position when viewed from the front in the narrow space M. . Therefore, in the water heater 1, the piping inside the housing 2 can be made compact, and the housing 2 can be miniaturized.

The downstream end of the forward extension pipe portion 812 that constitutes the first relay pipe portion 81 has a larger diameter than the other portion of the forward extension pipe portion 812 . An opening 813 provided at the downstream end of the front extending pipe portion 812 is formed in a flange shape. A connection portion 821 provided at the upstream end of the second relay pipe portion 82 and connected to the opening portion 813 is also formed in a flange shape. The water heater 1 arranges the opening 813 and the connecting part 821 in front of the gas distribution unit 41 provided on the front side of the combustion device 4 , that is, in front of the inner body 10 . As a result, the water heater 1 has a portion where the opening 813 and the connecting portion 821 are connected to a position where the flange-like portion of the opening 813 and the connecting portion 821 does not interfere with the right end portion and the right side surface 24 of the inner body portion 10 . It is possible to secure an area for arrangement and avoid widening the width of the narrow space M in the left-right direction. Therefore, the water heater 1 can further reduce the size of the housing 2 .

A holding member 8A is attached to a portion where the opening 813 and the connecting portion 821 are connected. The opening 813 and the connecting portion 821 are arranged forward of the inner trunk portion 10 . Therefore, the holding member 8A does not interfere with the inner body portion 10 and the right side surface 24 of the housing 2 . By applying a left-to-right force to the holding member 8A, the holding member 8A is attached to the portion where the opening 813 and the connecting portion 821 are connected. Therefore, even if the space between the inner trunk portion 10 and the right side surface 24 is narrow, the operator can easily attach the holding member to the opening 813 and the connecting portion 821 without being obstructed by the right side surface 24 . 8A can be properly attached. Therefore, the state in which the downstream end of the first relay pipe portion 81 and the upstream end of the second relay pipe portion 82 are connected is appropriately maintained.

The first bypass pipe portion 161 of the bypass pipe 16 is connected to the water supply portion 14 below the connection portion 71 of the water supply pipe 7, and at a position below the connection portion 71, from the water supply portion 14 to the front portion of the combustion device 4 and substantially. After extending forward to the same position, it extends leftward to a position on the right side of the fan 3 . Further, the first bypass pipe portion 161 extends rearward and upward from the position on the right side of the fan 3 toward the rear surface 25 of the housing 2 below the extending portion 72 of the water supply pipe 7 . The second bypass pipe portion 162 is connected to the downstream end of the first bypass pipe portion 161 from the left, and extends along the rear surface 25 of the housing 2 on the lower side of the combustion device 4 to the left side of the combustion device 4. It extends almost horizontally to the left. That is, the second bypass pipe portion 162 extends in the left direction opposite to the right direction in which the first water supply pipe portion 73 of the water supply pipe 7 extends from a position immediately below the rear end portion of the extending portion 72 of the water supply pipe 7 . Therefore, the water heater 1 can be arranged inside the downsized housing 2 without causing the bypass pipe 16 and the water supply pipe 7 to interfere with each other.
