Claims (22)
- 近位端から遠位先端へ延びるカテーテルシャフトと、
前記遠位先端の近位で前記カテーテルシャフトに位置決めされた遠位バルーンと、
前記遠位バルーンの近位で前記カテーテルシャフトに位置決めされ、前記遠位バルーンと流体連通する近位バルーンと、
前記遠位バルーンの近位及び前記近位バルーンの遠位で前記カテーテルシャフトの遠位セグメントに位置決めされた中間バルーンであって、前記中間バルーン及び前記遠位セグメントが各々透光性材料を含む、中間バルーンと、
前記カテーテルシャフト内に位置決めされ、前記遠位セグメントを貫通する光ファイバと、
前記カテーテルシャフト内に配置された第1の管腔及び第2の管腔であって、前記第1の管腔が前記遠位バルーンと前記中間バルーンとの間に位置する第1のポートを備え、前記第2の管腔が前記中間バルーンと前記近位バルーンとの間に位置する第2のポートを備える、第1の管腔及び第2の管腔と、
前記第1の管腔又は前記第2の管腔の一方内に位置決めされた、前記第1のポート又は前記第2のポートと一致していない圧力センサと
を備える装置。 - 前記中間バルーンの前記透光性材料が透明である、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記遠位セグメントの前記透光性材料が透明であり、
前記カテーテルシャフトが透明である透光性材料を含む、請求項1に記載の装置。 - 前記近位バルーン及び前記遠位バルーンが、前記近位バルーンと前記遠位バルーンとの間で脈管の領域を閉塞するように拡張可能である、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記光ファイバが、前記遠位セグメント及び前記中間バルーンを通して光活性化を行う、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記近位バルーンと前記遠位バルーンとの間の流体連通により、前記近位バルーン及び前記遠位バルーンを同時に選択的に拡張させる、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記中間バルーンが、前記近位バルーン及び前記遠位バルーンとは別個に、前記近位バルーン及び前記遠位バルーンより後に拡張される、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記第1のポートが薬物源と流体連通し、
前記薬物源が、前記第1のポートを通して被験者の血管内に薬物を供給する、請求項1に記載の装置。 - 前記中間バルーンが、前記第1のポートを通して前記薬物が供給された後に拡張され、
前記中間バルーンの拡張により、前記被験者の血管内における均一な薬物送達を容易にする、請求項8に記載の装置。 - 前記中間バルーンが、前記第1のポートを通して前記薬物が供給された後に拡張され、
前記光ファイバが作動され、前記遠位セグメント及び前記中間バルーンに光を透過させて血管内の前記薬物を活性化させる、請求項8に記載の装置。 - 前記第2のポートが、被験者の血管から過剰な薬物を除去する、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記近位バルーンと前記遠位バルーンとの間に位置決めされた一つ以上の流体連通ポートを更に備える、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記光ファイバが、前記カテーテルシャフトのガイドワイヤ管腔内に位置決めされる、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記光ファイバが、前記カテーテルシャフトの膨張管腔内に位置決めされる、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 被験者の血管内における組織スキャフォールディングの方法であって、
カテーテルを血管内に供給することであって、前記カテーテルが、
近位端から遠位先端へ延びるカテーテルシャフトと、
前記遠位先端の近位で前記カテーテルシャフトに位置決めされた遠位バルーンと、
前記遠位バルーンの近位で前記カテーテルシャフトに位置決めされ、前記遠位バルーンと流体連通する近位バルーンと、
前記遠位バルーンの近位及び前記近位バルーンの遠位で前記カテーテルシャフトの遠位セグメントに位置決めされた中間バルーンであって、前記中間バルーン及び前記遠位セグメントが各々透光性材料を含む、中間バルーンと、
前記カテーテルシャフト内に位置決めされ、前記遠位セグメントを貫通する光ファイバと、
前記カテーテルシャフト内に同軸に配置された第1の管腔及び第2の管腔であって、前記第1の管腔が前記遠位バルーンと前記中間バルーンとの間に位置する第1のポートを備え、前記第2の管腔が前記中間バルーンと前記近位バルーンとの間に位置する第2のポートを備える、第1の管腔及び第2の管腔と、
前記第1の管腔又は前記第2の管腔の一方内に位置決めされた、前記第1のポート又は前記第2のポートと一致していない圧力センサと
を備える、供給することと、
前記遠位バルーン及び前記近位バルーンを拡張させて血管に接触させることにより血管を閉塞することと、
薬物源から前記第1のポート及び前記第2のポートの少なくとも一方を通して薬物を被験者の血管内に供給することと、
前記中間バルーンを拡張させて血管に接触させることと、
前記光ファイバを作動させることにより、前記遠位セグメント及び前記中間バルーンに光を透過させて血管内の前記薬物を活性化させることと
を含む方法。 - 前記中間バルーンの前記透光性材料が透明である、請求項15に記載の方法。
- 前記遠位セグメントの前記透光性材料が透明である、請求項15に記載のカテーテル。
- 前記近位バルーン及び前記遠位バルーンが、前記近位バルーンと前記遠位バルーンとの間で脈管の領域を閉塞するように拡張可能である、請求項15に記載の方法。
- 前記中間バルーンの拡張により血管壁を支持する、請求項15に記載のカテーテル。
- 前記近位バルーンと前記遠位バルーンとの間の流体連通により、前記近位バルーン及び前記遠位バルーンを同時に選択的に拡張させる、請求項15に記載のカテーテル。
- 前記中間バルーンが、前記近位バルーン及び前記遠位バルーンとは別個に、前記近位バルーン及び前記遠位バルーンより後に拡張される、請求項15に記載のカテーテル。
- 被験者の血管内に位置決めされ、近位端から遠位先端へ延びるカテーテルシャフトと、
前記遠位先端の近位で前記カテーテルシャフトに位置決めされた遠位バルーンと、
前記遠位バルーンの近位で前記カテーテルシャフトに位置決めされ、前記遠位バルーンと流体連通する近位バルーンであって、前記遠位バルーン及び前記近位バルーンが、拡張して血管に接触することにより血管を閉塞するように構成された、近位バルーンと、
前記遠位バルーンの近位及び前記近位バルーンの遠位で前記カテーテルシャフトの遠位セグメントに位置決めされた中間バルーンであって、前記中間バルーン及び前記遠位セグメントが各々透明材料を含み、前記中間バルーンが拡張して血管に接触するように構成された、中間バルーンと、
前記カテーテルシャフト内に位置決めされ、前記遠位セグメントを貫通する光ファイバであって、前記遠位セグメント及び前記中間バルーンに光を透過させるように構成された光ファイバと、
前記カテーテルシャフト内に同軸に配置された第1の管腔及び第2の管腔であって、前記第1の管腔が前記遠位バルーンと前記中間バルーンとの間に位置する第1のポートを備え、前記第2の管腔が前記中間バルーンと前記近位バルーンとの間に位置する第2のポートを備える、第1の管腔及び第2の管腔と、
注入管腔内に位置決めされた、注入ポート及び吸引ポートの両方と一致していない圧力センサと、
前記注入ポートを通して薬物を血管内に供給するように構成された薬物源と
を備える装置。
