Claims (27)

(d)第1の触媒により被覆された第1の面と、第2の面とを含む膜であって、前記膜の第1の面が前記陽極上に設けられた膜;
(e)前記膜の第2の面上に設けられた陰極;
(f)前記陰極上に設けられた第2の拡散層;
(g)内面、外面、および出力ポートを含む水素基板であって、前記出力ポートは中にガスを流すように構成され、前記内面は第2の拡散層上に設けられた、水素基板;および
(h)前記酸素基板の外面上に設けられたスペーサ

- 前記スペーサは前記酸素基板の外面上に形成されている、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 各セルの前記出力ポートは、内燃式またはディーゼルエンジンの取込みマニホルドに水素ガスを流すように構成されている、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 各セルは、各水素基板の外面上に設けられたフレームをさらに含み、各フレームは、前記セル対を互いに密封して貼り付けるように構成されている、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 収集された水素ガスから水を分離するように構成されているコレクタをさらに含み、前記コレクタは、
(a)各セルの前記出力ポートに流体連通する入力ポート;
(b)内燃式またはディーゼルエンジンの取込みマニホルドに水素ガスを流すように構成されている出力ポート;および
(c)分離された水をそこから流すように構成されている液体ポート
を含む、請求項1に記載のシステム。 - 前記コレクタは、
(d)筐体内に設けられ、前記入力ポートおよび前記出力ポートに流体連通するブーツ;
(e)前記ブーツとは独立しており、前記液体ポートを通じて水を流すように構成されているチャンバ;
(f)前記ブーツ内に設けられ、前記チャンバ内に水を流すように構成されているバルブ;および
(g)前記ブーツ内に設けられ、前記バルブに固定して取り付けられ、前記バルブを開いて分離された水を中に流すように構成されているフロート
をさらに含む、請求項15に記載のシステム。 - 前記液体ポートに流体連通し、前記分離された水から不純物を濾別するように構成されているフィルタを含む、請求項15に記載のシステム。
- 前記コレクタおよびフィルタのうち一方または両方がタンクに設けられ、前記タンクは、入力ポートおよび出力ポートを含み、流体を前記リザーバに供給するように構成されている、請求項17に記載のシステム。
- 前記タンクの出力ポートと前記リザーバとの間に設けられ、流体を前記タンクから前記リザーバにポンプ移送するように構成されたポンプをさらに含む、請求項18に記載のシステム。
- 前記タンクに設けられて前記ポンプに電気連通するセンサをさらに含み、前記センサは、前記タンクが所定量の水を受け取っている際に、前記ポンプに電力を供給するように構成されている、請求項19に記載のシステム。
- 前記リザーバに設けられて前記ポンプに電気連通するセンサをさらに含み、前記センサは、前記リザーバ内の水が所定レベルに達している際に、前記ポンプに電力を供給するように構成されている、請求項19に記載のシステム。
- 1つまたは複数の追加のセル対をさらに含み、各対の前記リザーバは互いに流体連通し、各水素基板の前記出力ポートは互いに流体連通し、各セル対の前記陰極は互いに電気連通し、各セル対の前記陽極は互いに電気連通する、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 各リザーバ間の流体連通は、第1の対の1枚の酸素基板の外面を別の対の別の酸素基板の外面に接続するチューブを介して提供される、請求項22に記載のシステム。
- 前記セル対は、内燃式エンジンまたはディーゼルエンジンを有する運搬器に前記システムを搭載するために構成されたラックに搭載されている、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記運搬器に設けられて前記システムに電気連通するコントローラをさらに含み、前記コントローラは、前記運搬器に搭載されたセンサから生成されたシグナルに応じて、前記システムの前記陽極および陰極に方向付けされた電力を制御する、請求項24に記載のシステム。
- 前記センサは、前記運搬器の前記エンジンに搭載され、前記コントローラセンサは、前記エンジンが動作すると、真空圧を検出するように構成されている、請求項25に記載のシステム。
- (a)運搬器に請求項19に記載のシステムを提供することであって、前記コレクタの前記出力ポートは、前記運搬器の取込みマニホルドに流体連通すること;
(b)前記システムの前記リザーバに水を供給すること;
(c)前記システムのセルの陰極および陽極に電力を供給して、水素ガスおよび酸素ガスを産生すること;
(d)前記産生された水素ガスを前記運搬器の取込みマニホルドに供給し、前記産生された酸素ガスを雰囲気に排出すること;ならびに
(e)前記収集された水を前記システムのリザーバ内にポンプ移送で戻すこと
を含む、エンジンに水素ガスを供給するための方法。
