Claims (14)
- 組織炎症を検出するシステムであって、
組織に向かって光を放射するように構成される光エミッタと、
前記組織から反射される拡散反射光を検出するように構成される少なくとも1つの光検出器と、
前記検出される拡散反射光をそのスペクトル成分内で分析するように構成される組織炎症検出ユニットを含むコントローラとを含み、前記組織炎症検出ユニットは、
拡散反射分光法信号が組織によって支配される前記拡散反射分光法信号の第1の波長領域からの組織寄与を決定し、
所定の波長依存関数に従った前記組織寄与を前記拡散反射分光法信号が少なくとも1つの検出可能なヘモグロビン吸収特徴を含む第2の波長領域に外挿し、
前記拡散反射率信号から前記外挿される組織寄与を差し引き、
組織炎症の程度を決定する、
ように構成される、
システム。 - 当該システムは、歯肉炎を検出するように構成される、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記組織炎症検出ユニットは、前記第1の波長領域内の655nmよりも大きい第1の波長および第2の波長で前記組織寄与を決定するように構成される、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記組織炎症検出ユニットは、前記組織寄与を第2の波長領域内の第3の波長および第4の波長に外挿するように構成され、前記第2の波長領域内の波長は、前記第1の波長領域内の波長よりも短い、請求項3に記載のシステム。
- 前記第2の波長領域は、400nm~600nmである、請求項4に記載のシステム。
- 300μmよりも大きいソース-検出器分離を有する拡散反射分光法プローブを更に含む、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記少なくとも1つの光検出器は、前記組織から反射される前記少なくとも第1の波長、第2の波長および第3の波長で拡散反射光を検出するように構成される、少なくとも4つの波長感受性検出器である、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 組織炎症を検出する方法であって、
コントローラによって、拡散反射分光法信号が組織によって支配される前記拡散反射分光法信号の第1の波長領域内の少なくとも第1の波長および第2の波長で組織寄与を決定するステップと、
前記コントローラによって、前記組織寄与を、前記拡散反射分光法信号が少なくとも1つの検出可能なヘモグロビン吸収特徴を含む第2の波長領域内の第3の波長および第4の波長に外挿するステップと、
前記コントローラによって、前記外挿される組織寄与を、前記少なくとも第3の波長および第4の波長で前記拡散反射分光法信号から差し引いて、前記少なくとも第3の波長および第4の波長で血液寄与を提供するステップと、
前記コントローラによって、前記第1および第2の血液寄与に基づいて組織炎症の程度を決定するステップとを含む、
方法。 - 前記組織炎症は、歯肉炎である、請求項8に記載の方法。
- 4つの波長感受性検出器によって、前記組織寄与を決定するステップの前に、前記少なくとも第1の波長、第2の波長、第3の波長および第4の波長で拡散反射光を検出するステップを更に含む、請求項8に記載の方法。
- 前記第1の波長および前記第2の波長は、前記第3の波長および前記第4の波長よりも長い、請求項8に記載の方法。
- 前記組織寄与を外挿するステップは、所定の波長依存関数を含む、請求項8に記載の方法。
- 前記第1の波長、第2の波長、第3の波長、および第4の波長で光を放射する少なくとも4つの光源を用いて、組織に向かって光を放射するステップを更に含む、請求項8に記載の方法。
- 少なくとも1つの検出器によって、前記少なくとも4つの光エミッタによって放射される拡散反射光を検出するステップを更に含む、請求項13に記載の方法。
