Abstract
Description
本願は、2013年3月14日提出の米国特許出願第13/826,250号、及び2012年11月25日提出の米国特許仮出願第61/729,625号の優先権の利益を主張するものであり、その全体を参照して援用する。
Claims (22)
- 患者の視床皮質律動異常に関連する症状を処置する方法であって、
経頭蓋低電圧電気刺激(transcranial low voltage electrical stimulation(TLVES))療法又は経頭蓋磁気刺激(transcranial magnetic stimulation(TMS))療法を患者に適用するステップと、
前記TLVES療法又は前記TMS療法時に、前記患者に解離性麻酔薬を投与するステップと、の組み合わせを備える方法。 - 前記解離性麻酔薬は、NMDA型グルタミン酸受容体(NMDAR)アンタゴニストである請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記NMDARアンタゴニストは、ケタミンである請求項2に記載の方法。
- 前記TLVES療法又は前記TMS療法は、前記NMDARアンタゴニストの投与前、投与時及び投与後に適用される請求項1に記載の方法。
- プライミング処置を更に備える請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記方法は、3から7日の間隔で繰り返される請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記視床皮質律動異常に関連する症状は、耳鳴りである請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記視床皮質律動異常に関連する症状は、薬物乱用である請求項1に記載の方法。
- 個人の疼痛を処置する方法であって、前記方法は、
経頭蓋低電圧電気刺激(transcranial low voltage electrical stimulation(TLVES))療法又は経頭蓋磁気刺激(transcranial magnetic stimulation(TMS))療法を個人に適用するステップと、
前記TLVES療法又は前記TMS療法時に、患者にNMDA型グルタミン酸受容体(NMDAR)アンタゴニストを投与するステップと、の組み合わせを備える、方法。 - 前記TLVES療法又は前記TMS療法は、前記NMDARアンタゴニストの投与前、投与時及び投与後に適用される請求項9に記載の方法。
- 前記NMDARアンタゴニストは、約50-500mgの用量でのケタミンである請求項9に記載の方法。
- 前記ケタミンは、約30から60秒間注入される請求項11に記載の方法。
- プライミング処置を更に備える請求項9に記載の方法。
- 前記方法は、3から7日の間隔で少なくとも5回繰り返される請求項9に記載の方法。
- 前記疼痛は、複合性局所疼痛症候群又は反射性交感神経性ジストロフィーに関連する請求項9に記載の方法。
- うつ病を処置する方法であって、
経頭蓋低電圧電気刺激(transcranial low voltage electrical stimulation(TLVES))療法又は経頭蓋磁気刺激(transcranial magnetic stimulation(TMS))療法を、うつ病を患う患者に適用するステップと、
前記TLVES療法又は前記TMS療法時に、患者にNMDA型グルタミン酸受容体(NMDAR)アンタゴニストを投与するステップと、の組み合わせを備える、方法。 - 前記TLVES療法又は前記TMS療法は、前記NMDARアンタゴニストの投与前、投与時及び投与後に適用される請求項16に記載の方法。
- 前記NMDARアンタゴニストは、約50-500mgの用量のケタミンである請求項16に記載の方法。
- 前記ケタミンは、約30から60秒間注入される請求項18に記載の方法。
- プライミング処置を更に備える請求項16に記載の方法。
- 前記方法は、3から7日の間隔で少なくとも5回繰り返される請求項16に記載の方法。
