Abstract
Description
図面を参照して実施例の電池ユニットについて説明する。図1は、第1実施例の電池ユニット10aの斜視図を示す。なお、図1では、電池ユニット10aの構成を理解しやすくするため、各構成部品を分解して記載している。電池ユニット10aは、例えば、電気自動車のフロアパネル(図示省略)の下方に搭載される。電池ユニット10aは、電気自動車を駆動させる電力を蓄えるバッテリーを構成する。なお、図1では、電池ユニット10aの一部のみを記載する。電池ユニット10aは、電気自動車の幅方向(すなわち、図1の矢印Rh方向)にさらに延びている。電池ユニット10aは、電気自動車のフロアパネルの下方全域にわたって配置されている。なお、本明細書では、図面における矢印Frは、電気自動車の前後方向(長手方向)における前方を示し、矢印Rhは、左右方向(幅方向)における右方をしめし、矢印Upは、上下方向(高さ方向)における上方を示す。

Claims (8)
- 複数の電池セルが積層方向に沿って積層配置されており、各々の電池セルの電極が配列された第1の面と、前記第1の面の反対側に位置する第2の面とを有する、セルスタックと、
各々が前記複数の電池セルの少なくとも一つの電極に接続され、前記複数の電池セルを電気的に接続する複数のバスバと、
前記セルスタックの前記第2の面に対向する冷却面を有し、前記セルスタックを冷却する冷却器と、
前記セルスタックの前記第2の面と前記冷却器の前記冷却面との間に配置されており、前記セルスタックの熱を前記冷却器に伝える熱伝導材と、
を備え、
前記冷却器の前記冷却面は、扁平な形状を有しており、
前記熱伝導材は、前記複数の電池セルに対向しながら、前記積層方向に沿って帯状に延びる複数の帯を有しており、
前記複数の帯は、前記積層方向に垂直な方向において互いに離間して位置しており、
前記複数の帯の少なくとも一つは、前記冷却面に直交する方向から見たときに、前記複数の電池セルのそれぞれの前記電極と重なる、電池ユニット。 - 前記複数の帯は、
第1の間隔で前記幅方向に離間している少なくとも一組の帯状部と、
第2の間隔で前記幅方向に離間している他の少なくとも一組の帯状部と、を有する、請求項1に記載の電池ユニット。 - 前記熱伝導材は、ゲル状である、請求項1または2に記載の電池ユニット。
- 前記熱伝導材は、前記冷却面を前記第1の側面に対して固定するための接着剤としても機能する、請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載の電池ユニット。
- 前記複数のセルのそれぞれは、前記積層方向に扁平な矩形形状を有している角型セルである、請求項1から4のいずれか一項に記載の電池ユニット。
- 前記冷却器内には、前記複数の電池セルに対向しながら前記積層方向に沿って延びるとともに、前記セルスタックを冷却する冷媒が循環する流路が形成されている、請求項1から5のいずれか一項に記載の電池ユニット。
- 前記セルスタックの前記第2の面と前記冷却器の前記冷却面との間に配置され、前記冷却面を覆っている防水板をさらに備えており、
前記熱伝導材は、前記セルスタックと前記防水板との間、又は、前記防水板と前記セルスタックとの間の一方に位置する、請求項6に記載の電池ユニット。 - 前記セルスタックと前記防水板との間、又は、前記防水板と前記セルスタックとの間の他方に位置する第2熱伝導材をさらに備え、
前記第2熱伝導材は、前記防水板を対称面として、前記熱伝導部材と対称に配列されている、請求項7に記載の電池ユニット。
