Abstract
Description
本実施形態では、2つの射出ユニットを備える射出成形装置を例示する。本実施形態に係る射出成形装置10の概略構成について、図1から図3を参照して説明する。図1は、型開きされた状態の射出成形装置10を示す。図2は、射出成形装置10の固定盤40を-Z方向から見た斜視図である。図3は、+Z方向から可動盤20を平面視した状態を示す。図1、図2および図3では、各金型のキャビティ形状を省略している。なお、本発明の射出成形装置は、2つ射出ユニットを備えることに限定されず、3つ以上の射出ユニットおよびそれに対応する数の上下金型などを備えてもよい。
第1射出ユニット100の構成について、図4から図8を参照して説明する。図5では、第1ノズル150の開口の中心を通る軸線AXを含み、XZ平面に沿う断面を示す。また、図5では、第1射出ユニット100に加えて、固定盤40および第1上型61も図示する。図7Aでは、バレル125に埋設される第1加熱機構119aを破線としている。図7Bでは、バレル125に埋設される第1加熱機構119bを破線としている。図7Cでは、バレル125に埋設される第1加熱機構119cを破線としている。
第1射出ユニット100の第1射出にて射出される第1成形材料について説明する。本明細書において、可塑化とは熱可塑性を有する材料に熱が加わって溶融することをいう。
第2射出ユニット200の構成について、図9から図12を参照して説明する。図10では、第2ノズル250の開口の中心を通る軸線AXを含み、XZ平面に沿う断面を示す。また、図10では、第2射出ユニット200に加えて、固定盤40および第2上型62も図示している。図12では、第1射出ユニット100に対応する第1ノズル150および第1ゲート開口61Gと、第2射出ユニット200に対応する第2ノズル250および第2ゲート開口62Gとの周辺部を、図5および図10と同様な断面にてそれぞれ拡大して並べて表示している。また、図12の第2ノズル250周辺部には、参考のため、第1射出にて用いられる第1上型61の第1上型キャビティ61Cの位置を破線で示す。
第2射出ユニット200の第2射出にて射出される第2成形材料について説明する。本明細書において、熱硬化性とは熱によって重合反応が進行して硬化する特性をいう。第2成形材料は、熱硬化性を有する熱硬化性材料および重合開始剤を含む混合物であって、添加剤などを含んでもよい。
図13に示すように、射出成形装置10の第2成形材料生成機構は、圧送ポンプ301,302、計量ポンプ401,402、および混合装置500を有する。第2成形材料は2液混合タイプであるため、第1液用の圧送ポンプ301および計量ポンプ401と、第2液用の圧送ポンプ302および計量ポンプ402との2系統が備わる。
射出成形装置10を用いた射出成形方法について、図14を参照して説明する。また、以降の説明では図1なども参照することとする。図14に示すように、射出成形装置10の射出成形方法は、工程S1から工程S12を含む。なお、以下に述べる工程フローは一例であり、これに限定されない。
上記実施形態では、第1射出ユニット100が有する可塑化機構120は、フラットスクリュー124を備える構成であった。これに対して、可塑化機構120は、フラットスクリュー124ではなく、長尺の軸に螺旋溝が形成されたインラインスクリューと、インラインスクリューを囲む円筒状のバレルとを備え、インラインスクリューと円筒状のバレルとの相対的な回転を用いて熱可塑性材料を可塑化して第1成形材料を生成する形態であってもよい。

- 第1成形材料と第2成形材料とを含む成形品を成形する射出成形装置であって、
前記第1成形材料が流入する第1ゲート開口が設けられた第1上流側金型と、
前記第2成形材料が流入する第2ゲート開口が設けられた第2上流側金型と、
前記第1成形材料を、前記第1ゲート開口を介して射出する第1射出ユニットと、
前記第2成形材料を、前記第2ゲート開口を介して射出する第2射出ユニットと、
前記第1上流側金型および前記第2上流側金型のそれぞれに型締め可能に構成された下流側金型と、を備え、
前記第1射出ユニットは、熱可塑性樹脂を含む熱可塑性材料の少なくとも一部を可塑化して、前記第1成形材料を生成する可塑化機構を有し、
前記第2射出ユニットは、樹脂と硬化剤とを混合して、熱硬化性の混合物である前記第2成形材料を生成する機構を有する、射出成形装置。 - 前記可塑化機構は、
溝部が形成された溝形成面を有するスクロールと、
前記溝形成面に対向する対向面および連通孔を有するバレルと、
前記溝形成面と前記対向面との間に供給された前記熱可塑性材料を加熱する第1加熱機構と、を有する、請求項1に記載の射出成形装置。 - 前記第2射出ユニットは、
溝部が形成された溝形成面を有するスクロールと、
前記溝形成面に対向する対向面および連通孔を有するバレルと、
前記溝形成面と前記対向面との間に供給された前記第2成形材料を冷却する第1冷却機構と、を有する、請求項1または請求項2に記載の射出成形装置。 - 前記第1射出ユニットは、前記第1成形材料を射出する第1ノズルと、前記第1ノズルを加熱する第2加熱機構と、を有する、請求項1から請求項3のいずれか1項に記載の射出成形装置。
- 前記第2射出ユニットは、前記第2成形材料を射出する第2ノズルを有し、
前記第2ノズルと前記第2ゲート開口との間には空隙が形成される、請求項1から請求項4のいずれか1項に記載の射出成形装置。 - 前記第2射出ユニットは、前記第2ノズルを冷却する第2冷却機構を有する、請求項5に記載の射出成形装置。
- 前記第2成形材料が前記第1成形材料の後に射出される場合には、前記第2ゲート開口は、前記第1ゲート開口よりも前記下流側金型から離れた位置に配置され、
前記第2成形材料が前記第1成形材料の前に射出される場合には、前記第2ゲート開口は、前記第1ゲート開口よりも前記下流側金型に近い位置に配置される、請求項1から請求項6のいずれか1項に記載の射出成形装置。
