Abstract
Description
本発明の実施形態を以下の非限定的な実施例を参照して説明する。
家禽飼料における様々な供給源及びレベルのEPA及びDHAを使用した後の家禽肉におけるEPA及びDHAの強化レベルを評価するために試験を実施した。またブロイラー肉の食味も調べた。
・対照飼料(T1)
・対照飼料と本発明の7.5%(w/w)の組成物(T2)
・対照飼料と本発明の15.0%(w/w)の組成物(T3)
飼料製造に関する検討、トリの性能に関する検討、ヒトの臨床試験について試験を実施した。その目的は、本発明の組成物の配合を最適化し、トリの生産能力に関して本発明の組成物を有する栄養補助飼料の効果を評価し、鶏肉由来オメガ-3PUFAのヒトにおける吸収及び蓄積の時間経過を研究し、心血管の健康について危険因子減少の臨床的測定値に関するオメガ強化鶏肉の効果を調べることだった。本発明の組成物は、魚油の量を増加し、アマニの量を減少することによって最適化した(表5)。
胸肉を含む肉の全ての部位において強化を最大限に達成するために本発明の飼料組成物を更に改良するための試験を実施した。動物由来成分が許可されていないトリにおける必要性を満たすために、飼料を更に改良し、魚油を使用せずに家禽肉の強化を達成するための試みを行った。

本発明の組成物を改良するための試験を実施し、オメガ3源の代替源(微粉化アマニ、脱水された藻及び藻油)を評価した。972匹のRoss 308のトリを性別で区別し、1つの檻あたり324匹のトリで3つの檻に入れた。初生雛は、商業孵化場から配達された。ホッパー及びニップルドリンカーを備えたチューブ状の給餌機でそれらに自由に飼料を与えた。全てのトリは、0日~7日まで1日あたり23時間、光があてられ、その群れに対してその後は18時間、光があてられた。トリは18日目に予防接種を受けた。それらに標準的な市販のスターター飼料及び育成飼料を与えた。オメガ強化飼料を、全飼料の10%で22日から与えた。トリを35日に間引きし最終的な屠殺は39日に行った。

処理T4のブタについて、統計的に有意な差ではなかったが、他の処理グループ(T2、T6又はT8)と比較して仕上げ体重が重いことが報告された(表29)。対照グループのブタと比較して、プレミックス1について最も高い飼料の摂取が報告され、数値的に全ての処理で飼料の摂取が増加した。追加的に、プレミックス1は、他の処理と比較して最も速い成長速度を示し、プレミックス2及び3は、対照飼料のブタより遅い成長速度が報告された。対照処理のうち0~28日のブタでは、他の3つの処理グループと比較した場合、統計的に有意に(P<0.05)改善されたFCRを示した。0~50日にわたって、対照飼料のブタは、数値的に改善されたFCRを示したのに対して、プレミックス3の処理のブタでは、性能が劣ることが、報告された(表29)。
4つの処理のうち、ブタの最終体重に対して統計的に有意な差は認められなかった。対照のブタは、115.96kgで最も重い最終体重を示し、一方、プレミックス1の処理では、112.87kgで最も低い最終体重が報告されたが、この処理は、最も軽い開始体重だった(表31)。処理グループ間における飼料の摂取、成長速度及びFCRに統計的に有意な差はなかった。プレミックス2の処理は数値的に、プレミックス1及びプレミックス3の処理と比較して、最も高い飼料の摂取と対照の処理と同様の最も高い成長率が報告され、FCRの改善が見られた。しかし、対照の処理では、処理全体において、2.81の値を有し、FCRが最も改善されていた(表31)。
それらオメガ3強化を屠殺前25日から開始したブタは、典型的には屠殺時に最終体重が重かった。更に、飼料の摂取は、50日とは対照的に、屠殺前の25日にそれらの処理飼料を開始した豚が高かったが、通常、成長速度は、50日間処理のブタに対してFCRの改善が報告され、50日間の処理におけるブタが優れていた。0~25日の強化期間と50日間処理の後期(29~50日)の比較によって、29~50日の強化期間は数値的に、プレミックス3の処理について高い飼料の摂取、プレミックス1及びプレミックス3について速い成長速度、及び全ての状況(対照、プレミックス1、2及び3)においてFCRの改善をもたらした。
オメガ3で強化された鶏肉を1週間に3回摂取した後のヒトにおける鶏肉由来のオメガ-3PUFASの吸収及び蓄積について時間経過を決定するために、82人の健康な成人による二重盲検無作為化比較対照試験を実施した。

ヒトの血漿中におけるオメガ-3多価不飽和脂肪酸レベルを増加させるのに使用するための、オメガ-3多価不飽和脂肪酸で強化された動物の肉であって、前記使用が、オメガ-3多価不飽和脂肪酸で強化された前記動物の肉を被験者に混餌投与することを含む、動物の肉。

前記動物の肉が、動物の肉100g当たり少なくとも40mgのオメガ-3多価不飽和脂肪酸を含む、(1)に記載のように使用するための動物の肉。

前記動物の肉が、動物の肉100g当たり40~1500mgのオメガ-3多価不飽和脂肪酸を含む、(1)又は(2)に記載のように使用するための動物の肉。
(4)
前記動物の肉が、動物の肉100kcal当量当たり少なくとも40mgのオメガ-3多価不飽和脂肪酸を含む、(1)に記載のように使用するための動物の肉。
(5)
前記動物の肉が、動物の肉100kcal当量当たり40~1500mgのオメガ-3多価不飽和脂肪酸を含む、(4)に記載のように使用するための動物の肉。
(6)
オメガ-3多価不飽和脂肪酸が、ドコサヘキサエン酸(DHA)、エイコサペンタエン酸(EPA)及びα-リノレン酸(ALA)から選択される、(1)~(5)のいずれかに記載のように使用するための動物の肉。
(7)
前記動物の肉が、オメガ-3多価不飽和脂肪酸組成物を含む組成物を前記動物に混餌投与することによって、オメガ-3多価不飽和脂肪酸で強化され、前記組成物が、(a)5%~60%の藻類のオメガ-3多価不飽和脂肪酸;及び/又は(b)5%~80%のアマニオメガ-3多価不飽和脂肪酸を含む、(1)~(6)のいずれかに記載のように使用するための動物の肉。
(8)
前記藻類のオメガ-3多価不飽和脂肪酸が、任意の1類以上のクロレラ、スピルリナ、シゾキトリウム、クリプテコディニウム(Crypthecodinium)、アルトロスピラ(Arthrospira)、ポルフィリジウム(Porphyridium)、ナンノクロロプシス(Nannochloropsis)、紅藻、褐藻及び緑藻から選択される藻類細胞由来である、(7)に記載のように使用するための動物の肉。
(9)
前記藻類のオメガ-3多価不飽和脂肪酸が、脱水された藻類細胞由来である、(7)又は(8)に記載のように使用するための動物の肉。
(10)
前記藻類のオメガ-3多価不飽和脂肪酸が、任意の1種類以上のクロレラ、スピルリナ、シゾキトリウム、クリプテコディニウム(Crypthecodinium)、アルトロスピラ(Arthrospira)、ポルフィリジウム(Porphyridium)、ナンノクロロプシス(Nannochloropsis)、紅藻、褐藻及び緑藻由来の藻油である、(7)に記載のように使用するための動物の肉。
(11)
前記アマニオメガ-3多価不飽和脂肪酸が、粉砕、摩砕又は微粉化アマニ由来である、(7)に記載のように使用するための動物の肉。
(12)
前記アマニオメガ-3多価不飽和脂肪酸が、アマニ油由来である、(7)に記載のように使用するための動物の肉。
(13)
ヒトの血漿中における前記オメガ-3多価不飽和脂肪酸レベルを増加させる方法であって、前記方法が、オメガ-3多価不飽和脂肪酸で強化された動物の肉を前記被験者に混餌投与することを含む、方法。
(14)
ヒトの血漿中における前記オメガ-3多価不飽和脂肪酸レベルを増加させる方法であって、前記方法が、
(a)オメガ-3多価不飽和脂肪酸で動物の肉を強化すること;及び
(b)オメガ-3多価不飽和脂肪酸で強化された前記動物の肉を前記被験者に混餌投与すること
を含む、方法。
(15)
前記強化工程が、(a)オメガ-3多価不飽和脂肪酸組成物を含む組成物を前記動物へ混餌投与することを含み、前記組成物が、(a)5%~60%の藻類のオメガ-3多価不飽和脂肪酸;及び/又は(b)5%~80%のアマニオメガ-3多価不飽和脂肪酸を含む、(14)に記載の方法。
Claims (12)
- 心臓血管疾患の危険因子を減少させるのに使用するための、オメガ-3多価不飽和脂肪酸で強化された動物の肉を含む組成物であって、前記使用が、オメガ-3多価不飽和脂肪酸で強化された前記動物の肉を被験者に混餌投与することを含む、組成物。
- 前記動物の肉が、動物の肉100g当たり少なくとも40mgのオメガ-3多価不飽和脂肪酸を含む、請求項1に記載のように使用するための組成物。
- 前記動物の肉が、動物の肉100g当たり40~1500mgのオメガ-3多価不飽和脂肪酸を含む、請求項1又は2に記載のように使用するための組成物。
- 前記動物の肉が、動物の肉100kcal当量当たり少なくとも40mgのオメガ-3多価不飽和脂肪酸を含む、請求項1に記載のように使用するための組成物。
- 前記動物の肉が、動物の肉100kcal当量当たり40~1500mgのオメガ-3多価不飽和脂肪酸を含む、請求項4に記載のように使用するための組成物。
- オメガ-3多価不飽和脂肪酸が、ドコサヘキサエン酸(DHA)、エイコサペンタエン酸(EPA)及びα-リノレン酸(ALA)、並びにそれらのそれぞれの組み合わせから選択される、請求項1~5のいずれか一項に記載のように使用するための組成物。
- 前記動物の肉が、オメガ-3多価不飽和脂肪酸組成物を含む組成物を前記動物に混餌投与することによって、オメガ-3多価不飽和脂肪酸で強化され、前記組成物が、(a)5%~60%の藻類のオメガ-3多価不飽和脂肪酸;及び/又は(b)5%~80%のアマニオメガ-3多価不飽和脂肪酸を含む、請求項1~6のいずれかに記載のように使用するための組成物。
- 前記藻類のオメガ-3多価不飽和脂肪酸が、任意の1類以上のクロレラ、スピルリナ、シゾキトリウム、クリプテコディニウム(Crypthecodinium)、アルトロスピラ(Arthrospira)、ポルフィリジウム(Porphyridium)、ナンノクロロプシス(Nannochloropsis)、紅藻、褐藻及び緑藻から選択される藻類細胞由来である、請求項7に記載のように使用するための組成物。
- 前記藻類のオメガ-3多価不飽和脂肪酸が、脱水された藻類細胞由来である、請求項7又は8に記載のように使用するための組成物。
- 前記藻類のオメガ-3多価不飽和脂肪酸が、任意の1種類以上のクロレラ、スピルリナ、シゾキトリウム、クリプテコディニウム(Crypthecodinium)、アルトロスピラ(Arthrospira)、ポルフィリジウム(Porphyridium)、ナンノクロロプシス(Nannochloropsis)、紅藻、褐藻及び緑藻由来の藻油である、請求項7に記載のように使用するための組成物。
- 前記アマニオメガ-3多価不飽和脂肪酸が、粉砕、摩砕又は微粉化アマニ由来である、請求項7に記載のように使用するための組成物。
- 前記アマニオメガ-3多価不飽和脂肪酸が、アマニ油由来である、請求項7に記載のように使用するための組成物。
