Claims (11)
- 素体と、
前記素体に埋め込まれ、複数ターンに亘ってヘリカル状に巻回されたコイルパターンと、
前記素体の表面に設けられ、前記コイルパターンの一端及び他端にそれぞれ接続された第1及び第2の端子電極と、を備え、
前記素体は、キャビティが形成された支持体と、前記キャビティを覆うよう前記支持体に積層された第1の絶縁層とを含み、これにより前記素体の内部に空洞が形成され、
前記コイルパターンは、前記キャビティの内壁に沿って設けられた複数の第1区間と、前記第1の絶縁層上に設けられた複数の第2区間とを含み、
前記複数の第1区間の一端及びこれらに対応する前記複数の第2区間の一端が互いに接続され、
前記複数の第1区間の他端及びこれらに対応する前記複数の第2区間の他端が互いに接続されていることを特徴とするコイル部品。 - 前記素体は、前記キャビティの内壁を覆う第2の絶縁層をさらに含み、
前記コイルパターンの前記第1の区間は、前記第2の絶縁層を介して前記キャビティの内壁に設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のコイル部品。 - 前記支持体は、シリコンからなることを特徴とする請求項2に記載のコイル部品。
- 前記第1の絶縁層は、樹脂系絶縁材料からなることを特徴とする請求項1乃至3のいずれか一項に記載のコイル部品。
- 前記第1の絶縁層を構成する樹脂系絶縁材料にはフィラーが添加されていることを特徴とする請求項4に記載のコイル部品。
- 前記素体は、前記複数の第2の区間を埋め込むよう前記第1の絶縁層を覆う、樹脂系絶縁材料からなる第3の絶縁層をさらに含み、
前記第1及び第2の端子電極は、前記第3の絶縁層上に設けられており、
前記第3の絶縁層を構成する樹脂系絶縁材料は、前記第1の絶縁層を構成する樹脂系絶縁材料よりも比誘電率が低いことを特徴とする請求項4又は5に記載のコイル部品。 - 前記第1及び第2の端子電極は、前記コイルパターンの軸方向に配列されていることを特徴とする請求項1乃至6のいずれか一項に記載のコイル部品。
- 前記第1及び第2の端子電極は、前記軸方向に対して垂直な前記素体の表面に形成されることなく、前記軸方向に沿った前記素体の表面に形成されていることを特徴とする請求項7に記載のコイル部品。
- 支持体にキャビティを形成する第1の工程と、
前記キャビティの内壁に沿ってコイルパターンの複数の第1区間を形成する第2の工程と、
前記キャビティを第1の絶縁層で覆うことによって空洞を形成する第3の工程と、
前記第1の絶縁層に開口部を形成することにより、前記複数の第1区間の一端及び他端を露出させる第4の工程と、
前記第1の絶縁層上に前記コイルパターンの複数の第2区間を形成することにより、前記複数の第1区間の一端及びこれらに対応する前記複数の第2区間の一端を互いに接続し、前記複数の第1区間の他端及びこれらに対応する前記複数の第2区間の他端を互いに接続する第5の工程と、を備えることを特徴とするコイル部品の製造方法。 - 前記第1の工程を行った後、前記第2の工程を行う前に、前記キャビティの内壁を覆う第2の絶縁層を形成する工程をさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項9に記載のコイル部品の製造方法。
- 前記第1の絶縁層上に、前記複数の第2区間を埋め込むよう樹脂系絶縁材料からなる第3の絶縁層を形成する第6の工程と、
前記第3の絶縁層上に、前記コイルパターンの一端及び他端にそれぞれ接続された第1及び第2の端子電極を形成する第7の工程と、をさらに備え、
前記第1の絶縁層は、樹脂系絶縁材料からなり、
前記第3の絶縁層を構成する樹脂系絶縁材料は、前記第1の絶縁層を構成する樹脂系絶縁材料よりも比誘電率が低いことを特徴とする請求項9又は10に記載のコイル部品の製造方法。
