Claims (20)
- バッテリ支持ビームであって、
第1の端部と、
前記第1の端部とは反対の第2の端部と、
前記第1の端部及び前記第2の端部の間のバッテリ支持部分と、を備え、
前記バッテリ支持部分が、開放頂部及び開放底部を有する円筒状側壁を各々有する、所定のパターンで配設された複数の円筒状スリーブを備え、前記円筒状側壁の各々が、複数の円筒形のバッテリセルのうちの1つの円筒状中間部分の周囲に配設されるように構成されている、バッテリ支持ビーム。 - 前記複数の円筒状スリーブの各々が、前記複数の円筒状スリーブの少なくとも1つの他の円筒状スリーブと側壁を共有する、請求項1に記載のバッテリ支持ビーム。
- 前記円筒状側壁の各々が、前記複数の円筒状バッテリセルの各々の軸方向長さの80パーセント以下である軸方向長さを有する、請求項1に記載のバッテリ支持ビーム。
- 前記複数の円筒状側壁の各々が、前記円筒状バッテリセルの前記軸方向長さに沿って、前記複数の円筒状バッテリセルのうちの1つの頂部と底部との間の実質的に中央に配置されるように構成されている、請求項1に記載のバッテリ支持ビーム。
- 前記所定のパターンが、閉じた六角形状充填構成である、請求項1に記載のバッテリ支持ビーム。
- 前記バッテリ支持ビームが、プラスチック材料を含む、請求項1のバッテリ支持ビーム。
- 前記プラスチック材料が、ポリカーボネートである、請求項6に記載のバッテリ支持ビーム。
- 前記複数の円筒状スリーブが、複数の隣接対となる円筒状スリーブを備え、前記複数の隣接対となる円筒状スリーブの各々の間の前記円筒状側壁が、導電性ピンを備え、前記導電性ピンが、前記円筒状側壁を通って延在し、円筒状バッテリセルの電気活性ケーシングと電気的に接続するように構成され、前記電気活性ケーシングが、前記隣接対となる前記円筒状スリーブ内に配設される、請求項1に記載のバッテリ支持ビーム。
- バッテリモジュールであって、
所定のパターンで配設された複数の円筒状バッテリセルであって、第1の群の円筒状バッテリセル、及び第2の群の円筒状バッテリセルを備える、複数の円筒状バッテリセルと、
第1のバッテリ支持ビーム及び第2のバッテリ支持ビームであって、前記第1のバッテリ支持ビーム及び前記第2のバッテリ支持ビームの各々が、第1の端部と、第2の端部と、前記第1の端部及び前記第2の端部の間のバッテリ支持部分と、を備え、前記バッテリ支持部分は、開放頂部及び開放底部を有する円筒状側壁を各々有する複数の円筒状スリーブを備える、第1のバッテリ支持ビーム及び第2のバッテリ支持ビームと、を備え、
前記第1のバッテリ支持ビームの前記バッテリ支持部分の前記複数の円筒状側壁の各々が、前記第1の群の円筒状バッテリセルの第1のサブセットの1つの円筒状中間部分の周囲に配設され、
前記第2のバッテリ支持ビームの前記バッテリ支持部分の前記複数の円筒状側壁の各々が、前記第2の群の円筒状バッテリセルの第2のサブセットの1つの円筒状中間部分の周囲に配設されている、バッテリモジュール。 - 前記複数の円筒状側壁の各々が、前記複数の円筒状バッテリセルの各々の軸方向長さの80パーセント以下である軸方向長さを有し、
前記複数の円筒状側壁の各々が、前記円筒状バッテリセルの前記軸方向長さに沿って、前記複数の円筒状バッテリセルのうちの1つの頂部と底部との間の実質的に中央に配置されている、請求項9に記載のバッテリモジュール。 - 前記所定のパターンが、閉じた六角形状充填構成である、請求項9に記載のバッテリモジュール。
- 前記第1のバッテリ支持ビーム及び前記第2のバッテリ支持ビームの各々が、プラスチック材料を含む、請求項9に記載のバッテリモジュール。
- 前記プラスチック材料が、ポリカーボネートである、請求項12に記載のバッテリモジュール。
- 前記複数のバッテリセルの各々が、前記バッテリセルの第1の端部及び側面を覆う電気活性ケーシングの露出領域を備え、前記バッテリセルの前記側面が、前記円筒状中間部分を備える、請求項9に記載のバッテリモジュール。
- 前記第1のバッテリ支持ビームの前記バッテリ支持部分の前記複数の円筒状スリーブ及び前記第2のバッテリ支持ビームの前記バッテリ支持部分の前記複数の円筒状スリーブが、複数の隣接対となる円筒状スリーブを備え、前記複数の隣接対となる円筒状スリーブの各々の間の前記円筒状側壁が、前記円筒状バッテリセルの前記電気活性ケーシングと電気的に接続するために、前記円筒状側壁を通って延在する導電性ピンを備え、前記電気活性ケーシングが、前記隣接対となる円筒状スリーブ内に配設される、請求項14に記載のバッテリモジュール。
- 前記第1の群の円筒状バッテリセルの各々が、互いに並列に接続されており、
前記第2の群の円筒状バッテリセルの各々が、互いに並列に接続されている、請求項15に記載のバッテリモジュール。 - 前記第1のバッテリ支持ビーム及び第2のバッテリ支持ビームの各々の前記第1の端部に取り付けられた第1の側壁と、
前記第1のバッテリ支持ビーム及び第2のバッテリ支持ビームの各々の前記第2の端部に対する第2の側壁と、を更に備える、請求項9に記載のバッテリモジュール。 - 前記第1の群の円筒状バッテリセルと前記第2の群の円筒状バッテリセルとの間に配置された隔壁層を更に備え、前記隔壁層が、前記第1の群の円筒状バッテリセルの側壁を前記第2の群の円筒状バッテリセルの側壁から電気的に隔離する、請求項9に記載のバッテリモジュール。
- 複数の凹部を備える保持層を更に備え、
前記複数の円筒状バッテリセルの各々の第1の端部が、前記複数の凹部のそれぞれの凹部の中へ配置されている、請求項9に記載のバッテリモジュール。 - 前記複数の円筒状バッテリセルの各々の第2の端部に取り付けられた冷却面を更に備える、請求項19に記載のバッテリモジュール。
