Claims (5)
- 自車両の両側に設けられたサイドミラーと、
前記サイドミラーの光学表示部を移動させる駆動部と、
前記光学表示部の表示位置を検出する検出部と、
前記自車両周辺の環境情報を取得する周辺環境情報取得部と、
前記周辺環境情報取得部で取得した前記環境情報に基づいて前記自車両の側方を走行する移動体を検出する移動体検出部と、
前記検出部で検出した前記光学表示部の表示位置に基づいて前記サイドミラーの死角領域を設定する死角領域設定部と、
表示面調整部と
を有し、
前記表示面調整部は、前記移動体検出部で検出した前記移動体が前記死角領域設定部で設定した前記死角領域に進入したと判定した場合、前記駆動部を動作させて前記光学表示部の表示位置を、運転者が前記移動体を視認できる位置に調整する
ことを特徴とする車両の死角低減装置。 - 前記自車両の進路変更を意図する動作を検出する動作検出部を更に有し、
前記表示面調整部は、前記動作検出部で前記進路変更を意図する動作を検出した場合に前記光学表示部の表示位置を、前記運転者が前記移動体を視認できる位置に調整する
ことを特徴とする請求項1記載の車両の死角低減装置。 - 前記自車両が走行している道路形状情報から道路形状を取得する道路形状取得部と、
前記道路形状取得部で取得した前記道路形状に基づいてカーブ路を判定するカーブ路判定部を更に有し、
前記表示面調整部は、前記カーブ路判定部でカーブ路走行と判定した場合、前記光学表示部の表示位置を、前記運転者が前記移動体を視認できる位置に調整する
ことを特徴とする請求項1記載の車両の死角低減装置。 - 前記サイドミラーは光学ミラーであり、
運転席に着座している前記運転者を撮像して位置を検出するドライバ・モニタ・システムを更に有し、
前記死角領域設定部は、前記検出部で検出した前記光学表示部の表示位置と前記ドライバ・モニタ・システムで検出した前記運転者の位置とに基づいて前記サイドミラーの死角領域を設定する
ことを特徴とする請求項1~3の何れか1項に記載の車両の死角低減装置。 - 前記サイドミラーは光学ミラーであり、
運転席に着座している前記運転者の位置をシートクッションの前後位置で検出する着座位置検出部を更に有し、
前記死角領域設定部は、前記検出部で検出した前記光学表示部の表示位置と前記着座位置検出部で検出した前記運転者の位置とに基づいて前記サイドミラーの死角領域を設定する
ことを特徴とする請求項1~3の何れか1項に記載の車両の死角低減装置。
