Claims (16)
- カテーテル装置であって、
基端側部分および先端側部分を有する長尺状本体であって、前記長尺状本体の前記基端側部分が流入管腔および流出管腔を有する長尺状本体を備え、さらに、
前記流入管腔に接続された第1端部と、前記流出管腔に接続された第2端部とを有するチューブであって、前記第1端部と前記第2端部との間の複数の位置は、前記先端側部分から外側に突出する一連のループを、前記チューブが形成するように、前記先端側部分上の一連の離間した位置を通り抜ける、チューブを備え、
前記チューブのループを有する、前記長尺状本体の前記先端側部分は、加熱または冷却された熱交換流体が前記チューブを通って循環されている間、患者の血液が前記チューブのループを通って流れるように、前記患者の脈管構造に挿入可能であり、それにより、前記熱交換流体と前記患者の血流との間の熱交換をもたらす、カテーテル装置。 - 貫通管腔であって、a)ガイドワイヤ上における前記カテーテル装置の前進を容易にすること、および、b)前記カテーテル装置を介して対象者の身体への治療物質または装置を送達するための通路として、から選択された少なくとも1つの目的のために利用可能な貫通管腔をさらに備える、請求項1に記載のカテーテル装置。
- 前記チューブのループが略U字形状をなす、請求項1又は2に記載のカテーテル装置。

- 前記チューブが、ポリエチレンテレフタレートまたはポリエーテルブロックアミド材料から形成されている、請求項1~6のいずれか一項に記載のカテーテル装置。
- 前記流入管腔への窓が第1位置に形成されており、前記チューブの前記第1端部が前記流入管腔への窓を介して延びているとともに、該流入管腔の壁に取り付けられており、
前記流出管腔への窓が第2位置に形成されており、前記チューブの前記第2端部が前記流出管腔への窓を介して延びているとともに、該流出管腔の壁に取り付けられている、請求項1~6のいずれか一項に記載のカテーテル装置。 - 前記流出管腔への前記窓が、流体が前記チューブのループを通って先端方向に進むように、前記流入管腔への前記窓よりも先端側に位置する、請求項8に記載のカテーテル装置。
- 前記流出管腔への前記窓が、流体が前記チューブのループを通って基端方向に進むように、前記流入管腔への前記窓よりも基端側に位置する、請求項8に記載のカテーテル装置。
- 前記チューブの前記第1端部および前記第2端部が、接着剤によって流入管腔および流出管腔に対してそれぞれ固定されている、請求項1~10のいずれか一項に記載のカテーテル装置。
- 前記長尺状本体上の前記一連の離間した位置においてチューブ受け構造が形成されている、請求項1~11のいずれか一項に記載のカテーテル装置。
- 前記チューブ受け構造は、前記チューブが挿通される横断方向の開口を有する、請求項12に記載のカテーテル装置。
- 前記カテーテル装置を介して加熱または冷却された熱交換流体を循環させるための装置と組み合わされた、請求項1~13のいずれか一項に記載のカテーテル装置を含むシステム。
- 前記加熱または冷却された熱交換流体を循環させるための装置が、前記カテーテル装置を介して循環される熱交換流体の温度および流量の少なくとも一方を制御する制御装置を備える、請求項14に記載のシステム。
- 前記制御装置が、a)入力目標体温と、b)感知した体温を示す温度センサーからの信号とを受信し、かつ、前記感知した体温を前記入力目標体温と同じか、または前記入力目標体温の許容範囲内にするようにさせるか、またはしようとする方法で、前記熱交換流体の温度および流量の少なくとも一方を変化させるようにプログラムされている、請求項15に記載のシステム。
