Abstract
Description
本出願は2019年4月19日に出願された米国仮出願番号62/836,131よび2020年3月20日に出願された米国実用出願番号16/825,395の優先権を主張するものであり、本明細書においては、その全体が参照により組み込まれる。
本発明は物体検出に関し、より詳細には、クラウド化されたRFID読み取りに関する。
無線周波数識別(RFID)技術は、在庫、追跡、位置特定、チェックアウトなどの様々な用途で使用することができる。多くの市場は、小売業、家庭用、公共サービス、図書館、交通、倉庫等のようなこれらの範囲の用途から利益を得ることができる。現在のRFIDシステムがRFIDタグ、特に受動的RFIDタグと通信する方法には、固有の基本的な制限がある。この制限は所与のリーダの範囲内にあるタグの数を増加させることによって、それらの応答が干渉し、誤検出を引き起こすことになるという事実から発生する。RFID第2世代標準のような規格では衝突回避方式が考慮されているが、RFIDタグの人口が多い地域では応答がタグからより遅くなるだけでなく、衝突によって依然としていくつかのタグがリーダライタから隠されたままになる。したがって、クラウド化されたRFID読み取りのためのアプローチが必要とされている。
Claims (20)
- 周波数上に無線周波数(RF)信号を放射するように構成された少なくとも1つのRF後方散乱送信機と、
夫々が夫々の製品に関連付けられ、前記RF信号を夫々異なる周波数に反射して周波数シフトするように構成された複数の受動的RF後方散乱タグと、
前記複数の受動的RF後方散乱タグの対応するタグによってRF信号の反射および周波数シフトによって生成される分布周囲後方散乱信号を検出することによって、夫々の異なる周波数の夫々の製品を読み取るように構成された少なくとも1つのRF後方散乱受信機と、
を含む、製品タグ付けシステム。 - 前記少なくとも1つのRF後方散乱受信機は、前記RF後方散乱受信機に送信される前記RF信号の同じ信号に応答する前記複数の受動的RF後方散乱タグの同じタグから夫々の分布周囲後方散乱信号を受信することによって、同時マルチポート受信(SMP)を実行する少なくとも2つのアンテナを備え、
前記少なくともRF後方散乱送信機および前記少なくとも1つのRF後方散乱受信機の夫々は、前記SMPの夫々の同期クロックを含む、請求項1に記載の製品タグ付けシステム。 - 前記少なくとも1つのRF後方散乱受信機は、前記複数の受動的RF後方散乱タグを、前記複数の受動的RF後方散乱タグの元の体積よりも小さい体積で励起して読み取ることによって、空間的な再利用を行うように構成された一組の空間的再利用アンテナを含み、前記より小さい体積の前記複数の受動的RF後方散乱タグの数は閾値を下回る、請求項1に記載の製品タグ付けシステム。
- ビーム成形、電力制御、および周波数割り当て技術は、前記元の体積を前記より小さい体積に分割する効率を制御するために使用される、請求項3に記載の製品タグ付けシステム。
- 前記最後の1つのRF後方散乱受信機は、前記複数の受動的RF後方散乱タグの対応するタグの時空間的な経路を、前記複数の受動的RF後方散乱タグの他のタグへの時空間的な近接度に基づいて決定する、請求項1に記載の製品タグ付けシステム。
- 前記少なくとも1つのRF後方散乱送信機は、フレームレベルまで少なくとも同期する2つの流れを送信するように構成された送信アンテナの組み合わせを含む、請求項1に記載の製品タグ付けシステム。
- 少なくともRF信号は、前記少なくとも1つのRF後方散乱送信機の前記送信アンテナの2つから送信され、シンボルレベルで同期される、請求項6に記載の製品タグ付けシステム。
- 少なくともRF信号は、前記少なくとも1つのRF後方散乱送信機の前記送信アンテナの2つから送信され、位相レベルで同期される、請求項6に記載の製品タグ付けシステム。
- 前記少なくとも1つのRF後方散乱送信機は、前記送信アンテナの少なくとも2つからフレーム同期された問合わせ信号を送信する、請求項6に記載の製品タグ付けシステム。
- 前記少なくとも1つのRF後方散乱受信機は、第1および第2のRF後方散乱受信機を含み、
前記少なくとも1つのRF後方散乱送信機および前記第1および前記第2のRF後方散乱受信機は、
前記少なくとも1つのRF後方散乱送信機および前記第1のRF後方散乱受信機に接続された前記2つのアンテナのうち、前記RF信号を送信し、夫々の分布周囲後方散乱信号の1つを受信するよう構成されたデュアルモードアンテナと、
前記第2のRF後方散乱受信機に接続された前記2つのアンテナのうち、前記夫々の分布周囲後方散乱信号の他の1つを受信するように構成された非送信単一モードアンテナと、
を有する単一の装置を含む、請求項1に記載の製品タグ付けシステム。 - 前記少なくとも1つのRF後方散乱受信機は、第1および第2のRF後方散乱受信機を含み、前記第1および前記第2の後方散乱受信機は、前記複数の受動的RF後方散乱タグの少なくとも2つの異なるタグから分布周囲後方散乱信号を復号する、請求項1に記載の製品タグ付けシステム。
- 前記少なくとも1つのRF後方散乱受信機は、第1および第2のRF後方散乱受信機を含み、前記第1および前記第2の後方散乱受信機は、前記複数の受動的RF後方散乱タグの特定のタグから前記分布周囲後方散乱信号を共同で復号する、請求項1に記載の製品タグ付けシステム。
- 前記少なくとも1つのRF後方散乱受信機は、タグ衝突を最小限に抑えるために、時間分割技術を使用して、任意の所与の時間に前記複数の受動的RF後方散乱タグの部分集合のみを励起するように構成される、請求項1に記載の製品タグ付けシステム。
- 少なくとも1つのRF後方散乱送信機によって周波数上の無線周波数(RF)信号を放射することと、
複数の受動的RF後方散乱タグによって、夫々が夫々の製品に関連付けられ、前記RF信号を夫々異なる周波数に反射して周波数シフトすることと、
少なくとも1つのRF後方散乱受信機によって、前記複数の受動的RF後方散乱タグの対応するタグによってRF信号の反射および周波数シフトによって生成される分布周囲後方散乱信号を検出することによって、夫々の異なる周波数の夫々の製品を読み取ることと、

- 前記夫々の製品の位置は前記複数の受動RF後方散乱タグの対応するタグの位置によって推定され、前記複数の受動RF後方散乱タグの前記対応するタグの位置は前記2つのアンテナの少なくとも2つの受信アンテナで受信されたRF信号を使用することによって推定され、前記2つのアンテナに送信される前記RF信号の同じ信号に応答する前記複数の受動的RF後方散乱タグの対応するタグから夫々の分散周囲後方散乱信号を受信することによって、同時マルチポート受信(SMP)を実行する異なる位置に配置される、請求項14に記載の方法。
