Description
Spinifex grass(Triodia pungens)は、オーストラリア、クイーンズランド州のCamoowealから採取した。NaOHフレーク(純度98%)を、Alfa Aesarから購入した。Calcofluor whiteを、Sigma−Aldrichから入手した。全体を通して逆浸透(RO)精製水を使用した。
Claims (34)
- セルロースナノ繊維を含有する材料であって、水性媒体中にセルロースナノ繊維を含むゲル材料を含み、セルロースナノ繊維が10重量%以上のヘミセルロースを有する、材料。
- 前記セルロースナノ繊維の径が100nm未満または50nm未満、または20nm未満である、請求項1に記載の材料。
- 前記セルロースナノ繊維が15重量%以上のヘミセルロースを有するか、または前記セルロースナノ繊維が20重量%以上のヘミセルロースを有するか、または前記セルロースナノ繊維が25重量%以上のヘミセルロースを有するか、または前記セルロースナノ繊維が30重量%以上のヘミセルロースを有する、請求項1または2に記載の材料。
- 前記セルロースナノ繊維が、セルロース、ヘミセルロース、リグニンおよび抽出物を含む、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の材料。
- 前記セルロースナノ繊維が、10〜25重量%のリグニン、35〜70重量%のセルロースおよび2〜10重量%、または2〜8重量%の抽出物を含む、請求項4に記載の材料。
- 前記ゲルが、2mg/ml(w/V)のセルロースナノ繊維〜20%w/Vのセルロースナノ繊維、または2mg/ml(w/V)〜15%w/Vのセルロースナノ繊維を含有する、請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載の材料。
- 前記ゲル材料が、前記ゲルのレオロジーをもたらすかまたは制御するために、前記ゲルに添加されたレオロジー改質剤を有する、請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載の材料。
- 前記水性媒体が水を含む、請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載の材料。
- 前記水性媒体が水およびアルカリを含む、請求項1〜8のいずれか一項に記載の材料。
- 前記水性媒体が7を超えるpHを有する、請求項9に記載の材料。
- 前記水性媒体が、温和なアルカリ処理に続いて前記セルロースナノ繊維を形成するための植物材料の処理に続いて前記セルロースナノ繊維と共に残る水性媒体を含み、前記温和なアルカリ処理が、2%〜15%のNaOH、または2%〜14%、または2%〜10%、または2%〜7%、または2%〜5%のNaOHと等量のアルカリ度を有するアルカリ溶液で前記植物材料を処理することを含む、請求項1〜10のいずれか一項に記載の材料。
- 請求項1〜11のいずれか一項に記載の材料を形成するための方法であって、弱アルカリ処理で植物材料を処理し、続いて機械的処理を行ってセルロースナノ繊維を形成することを含む方法。
- 前記植物材料を、前記植物材料から溶解した材料を除去するために、前記温和なアルカリ処理に続いて水で洗浄し、前記アルカリ処理された植物材料および水を含有するパルプを、せん断混合、高エネルギーボールミル粉砕から選択される機械的処理に供し、前記パルプを、二軸スクリュー押出機などの押出機に通し、高圧均質化して、前記植物材料のミクロフィブリル化セルロースまたはセルロースナノ繊維への機械的崩壊を引き起こし、水およびセルロースナノ繊維を含有する材料を含む製品を形成し、任意に、そこから除去された水の一部を除去して、前記ゲル材料を形成する、請求項12に記載の方法。
- 前記機械的処理から生じるパルプを乾燥させて前記セルロースナノ繊維を回収し、続いて水性媒体を前記乾燥繊維に添加することによって前記ゲル材料を形成する、請求項12に記載の方法。
- セルロースナノ繊維から作られた紙であって、前記セルロースナノ繊維のヘミセルロース含有量が少なくとも10重量%であることを特徴とする紙。
- 前記セルロースナノ繊維を含む請求項1〜12のいずれか一項に記載のパルプまたはゲル材料を脱水することによる、請求項15に記載の紙を製造する方法。
- 第2の構成要素に接着された第1の構成要素を有する製品であって、水性媒体中に10重量%以上のヘミセルロースを有するセルロースナノ繊維を含むゲル材料が、前記第1の構成要素を前記第2の構成要素に接着するための接着剤として使用されることを特徴とする製品。
- 第1のシートと、前記第1のシートに接着された第2のシートとを有する積層体を含み、前記ゲル層が前記第1のシートを前記第2のシートに接着する、請求項17に記載の製品。
- 前記積層体は、複数のシートを含み、ゲル層が、各シートに前記ゲル層を接着するために各シートの間に位置する、請求項18に記載の製品。
- 前記シートが、紙シート、麻のシート、亜麻のシート、繊維ガラスシート、厚紙シート、布シート、織物シート、織布シート、不織シート、ポリマー材料または生分解性ポリマー材料を含む、請求項19に記載の製品。
- 前記積層体が包装材料として使用される、請求項19に記載の製品。
- 生分解性熱可塑性プラスチックおよび/または難燃剤が前記積層体に添加される、請求項18〜21のいずれか一項に記載の製品。
- 前記生分解性熱可塑性プラスチックおよび/または前記難燃剤がゲル層に添加されるか、または前記難燃剤が前記シート材料中に存在する、請求項22に記載の製品。
- 第1の構成要素が第2の構成要素に接着されている物品を製造する方法であって、請求項1〜12のいずれか一項に記載のゲル材料の層を適用し、前記第2の構成要素の少なくとも一部を前記ゲル材料に接触させ、前記第1の構成要素が前記第2の構成要素に接着するように前記ゲル材料を脱水することを含む方法。
- 前記第1の構成要素、ゲル材料および第2の構成要素は、一緒に押圧される、請求項24に記載の方法。
- 前記第1の構成要素、ゲル材料および第2の構成要素は、一緒に高温押圧される、請求項25に記載の方法。
- 前記物品が、前記ゲル層から水を除去するために加熱される、請求項24〜26のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記第1の構成要素および前記第2の構成要素は、第1のシートおよび第2のシートを含み、前記物品は、積層体を含み、前記積層体は、前記第1のシート、前記ゲル層および前記第2のシートを型に入れ、前記さらなるシート、ゲル層および第2のシートを前記型中に押圧することによって、成形した製品に形成される、請求項24〜27のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 少なくとも10重量%のヘミセルロース含有量を有するセルロースナノ繊維から作製されたマトリックスを含む複合材料であって、前記複合材料が1つ以上の特性改質剤を含む、複合材料。
- 前記1つまたは適切に改質された薬剤は、強化剤を含む、請求項29に記載の複合材料。
- 前記強化剤が、ガラス繊維、炭素繊維、グラフェン、金属繊維、フレーク材料、または板状材料を含む、請求項30に記載の複合材料。
- 前記1つ以上の特性改質剤が、前記セルロースナノ繊維から作製された前記マトリックス全体に分散されている、請求項29〜31のいずれか一項に記載の複合材料。
- 前記複合材料が、セルロースナノ繊維から作製された前記マトリックスの少なくとも60重量%、または少なくとも70重量%、または少なくとも80重量%、または少なくとも85重量%、または少なくとも90重量%、または少なくとも95重量%、または少なくとも97重量%、または少なくとも98重量%、または少なくとも99重量%を含み、前記1つ以上の特性改質剤が、前記複合材料の40重量%未満、または30重量%未満、または20重量%未満、または50重量%未満、または10重量%未満、5重量%、または3重量%未満、または2重量%未満、または1重量%未満を含む、請求項29〜32のいずれか一項に記載の複合材料。
- 前記セルロースナノ繊維が、C4の葉の解剖学的構造を持つ草種に由来するか、あるいは前記セルロースナノ繊維が、干ばつ耐性のある草種、または乾燥した草種、またはトリオディア、モノディア、およびシンプレクトロディアを含む属の「スピニフェックス」として知られるオーストラリア原産の乾燥した草から、またはT.pungens、T.shinziiもしくはT.basedowii、T.longicepsから由来する、請求項1〜12のいずれか一項に記載の材料。
