本発明は、インペラアセンブリに対して遠位方向に配設された拡張可能な領域を有する血管内ポンプに関する。

Claims (20)

少なくとも前記筐体内の回転ロータを含むポンプアセンブリと、
前記ポンプアセンブリの遠位方向に配設された、折畳みかつ拡張可能な領域と、
前記折畳みかつ拡張可能な領域の近位側および遠位側に隣接して配設された拡張不能な領域とを備える、モータ駆動血液ポンプ。 - 前記折畳みかつ拡張可能な領域は、形状記憶材料または拡張および収縮する他の材料を含む、請求項1に記載の血液ポンプ。

- 軸方向に平行移動可能な先端に取付けられ、少なくとも1つの入口アパーチャを覆う入口アパーチャカバーをさらに備え、前記軸方向に平行移動可能な先端の遠位方向の平行移動によって、前記少なくとも1つの入口アパーチャの覆いが取られる、請求項1に記載の血液ポンプ。
- ドライブシャフトをさらに備え、前記ドライブシャフトは、前記ポンプアセンブリと、および、前記ドライブシャフトの近位端に動作可能に取付けられた原動機と、遠位端において動作可能に接続される、請求項7に記載の血液ポンプ。
