Claims (8)
- 光を案内するための光ガイド部と、
光源から出力された光が入力されて前記光ガイド部上で案内できるように前記入力された光を回折させる入力回折光学素子と、
前記入力回折光学素子から回折された光を受光し、受光された光が回折によって1次元的に拡張できるように構成される2つの回折光学素子とを含み、
前記2つの回折光学素子それぞれは、他の回折光学素子から拡張された光を受光し、受光された光が回折によって前記光ガイド部から出力されるように構成され、
前記2つの回折光学素子は、前記光ガイド部上で互いに重なっている領域を形成しない、回折導光板。 - 前記回折光学素子それぞれは、予め定められたピッチで繰り返し形成された線状格子を含み、前記線状格子のピッチに反比例する大きさおよび前記線状格子が延びた方向と垂直な方向で定義される格子ベクトルを有し、
前記入力回折光学素子と前記2つの回折光学素子それぞれの格子ベクトルの合計は、0の大きさを有する、請求項1に記載の回折導光板。 - 前記入力回折光学素子と前記2つの回折光学素子それぞれの格子ベクトルは、互いに同一の大きさを有する、請求項2に記載の回折導光板。
- 前記入力回折光学素子と前記2つの回折光学素子それぞれの格子ベクトルは、互いに60゜の角度を形成する、請求項2または3に記載の回折導光板。
- 前記2つの回折光学素子は、前記光ガイド部上の同一平面上に提供される、請求項1から4のいずれか一項に記載の回折導光板。
- 前記2つの回折光学素子それぞれは、他の回折光学素子から拡張された光を受光する受光側が他の回折光学素子の受光側に当接している、請求項1から5のいずれか一項に記載の回折導光板。
- 前記2つの回折光学素子それぞれの受光側が互いに当接している領域は、物理的な境界ラインが形成されていない、請求項6に記載の回折導光板。
- 映像を形成する映像光を出力する光源と、
請求項1〜7のいずれか1項に記載の回折導光板とを含むディスプレイ装置。
