Claims (14)
- 映像信号をデコードするための方法において、
現在ブロックのイントラ予測モードに基づいて、予め定義された非分離変換セットの内から、前記現在ブロックの非分離変換に用いられる非分離変換セットを指示する非分離変換セットインデックスを決定する段階と
非分離変換セットインデックスによって指示される非分離変換セットに含まれた変換カーネルの内、前記現在ブロックの非分離変換インデックスによって指示される変換カーネルを非分離変換行列に決定する段階と、
前記現在ブロックの幅と高さに応じて決定される前記現在ブロックの左上側領域について前記非分離変換行列を適用する段階を含み、
前記予め定義された非分離変換セットは、それぞれ2つの変換カーネルを含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 前記非分離変換セットインデックスは、
前期イントラ予測モードの範囲に応じて設定される4つの変換セットにそれぞれ割り当てられることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記イントラ予測モードが0〜1である場合、前記非分離変換セットインデックスは、第1インデックス値に決定され、
前記イントラ予測モードが2〜12または56〜66であれば、前記非分離変換セットインデックスは、第2インデックス値に決定され、
前記イントラ予測モードが13〜23または45〜55であれば、前記非分離変換セットインデックスは、第3インデックス値に決定され、
前記イントラ予測モードが24〜44であれば、前記非分離変換セットインデックスは、第4インデックス値に決定されることを特徴とする、請求項2に記載の方法。 - 前記非分離変換セットインデックスのインデックス値のそれぞれについて、2つの非分離変換カーネルが設定されることを特徴とする、請求項3に記載の方法。
- 前記非分離変換行列は、
前記非分離変換インデックスが0ではなく、前記現在ブロックの幅と高さがそれぞれ4以上の場合に適用されることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記非分離変換が適用された現在ブロックに対して水平方向の変換及び垂直方向の変換を適用する段階をさらに含むことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記水平方向の変換及び垂直方向の変換は、
前記現在ブロックに適用された予測モード及び変換行列の選択のためのMTS(multiple transform selection)インデックスに基づいて決定されることを特徴とする、請求項6に記載の方法。 - 映像信号をデコードするための装置において、
前記映像信号を貯蔵するメモリと、
前記メモリと結合されたプロセッサを含み、
前記プロセッサは、
現在ブロックのイントラ予測モードに基づいて、予め定義された非分離変換セットの内から、前記現在ブロックの非分離変換に用いられる非分離変換セットを指示する非分離変換セットインデックスを決定し、
非分離変換セットインデックスによって指示される非分離変換セットに含まれた変換カーネルの内、前記現在ブロックの非分離変換インデックスによって指示される変換カーネルを非分離変換行列で決定し、
前記現在ブロックの幅と高さに応じて決定される前記現在ブロックの左上側領域について前記非分離変換行列を適用するように設定され、
前記予め定義された非分離変換セットは、それぞれ2つの変換カーネルを含むことを特徴とする装置。 - 前記非分離変換セットインデックスは、
前記イントラ予測モードの範囲に応じて設定される4つの変換セットにそれぞれ割り当てられることを特徴とする、請求項8に記載の装置。 - 前記イントラ予測モードが0〜1である場合、前記非分離変換セットインデックスは、第1インデックス値に決定され、
前記イントラ予測モードが2〜12または56〜66であれば、前記非分離変換セットインデックスは、第2インデックス値に決定され、
前記イントラ予測モードが13〜23または45〜55であれば、前記非分離変換セットインデックスは、第3インデックス値に決定され、
前記イントラ予測モードが24〜44であれば、前記非分離変換セットインデックスは、第4インデックス値に決定されることを特徴とする、請求項9に記載の装置。 - 前記非分離変換セットインデックスのインデックス値のそれぞれについて、2つの非分離変換カーネルが設定されることを特徴とする、請求項10に記載の装置。
- 前記非分離変換行列は、
前記非分離変換インデックスが0ではなく、前記現在ブロックの幅と高さがそれぞれ4以上の場合に適用されることを特徴とする、請求項8に記載の装置。 - 前記非分離変換が適用された現在ブロックに対して水平方向の変換及び垂直方向の変換を適用する段階をさらに含むことを特徴とする、請求項8に記載の装置。
- 前記水平方向の変換及び垂直方向の変換は、
前記現在ブロックに適用された、予測モード及び変換行列の選択のためのMTS(multiple transform selection)インデックスに基づいて決定されることを特徴とする、請求項13に記載の装置。
