Abstract
Description
多くのパッケージングソリューションでは、酸素に敏感な製品をシールドするための有効な酸素バリアを備え、それによって製品の保存期間を延長することが重要である。これらには、特に多くの食品が含まれる。
本発明の目的は、ミクロフィブリル化セルロースおよびポリマー層を含む多孔質繊維ベースの層を含む、酸素バリア特性を有するラミネートを提供することである。
驚くべきことに、ナノセルロースおよびセルロース系繊維を含む多孔質繊維ベースの層とポリマー層との組み合わせから、良好または中程度の酸素バリア特性を有するラミネートを製造することが可能であることが見出された。多孔質繊維ベースの層およびポリマー層を有するラミネートを製造するときに見られる相乗的かつ驚くべき効果の理由は完全には理解されていない。1つの説明は、2つの層の間の接着特性に起因する、および/またはポリマー層の結晶化度に起因するかもしれない。
セルロースミクロフィブリル、フィブリル化セルロース、ナノフィブリル化セルロース、フィブリル凝集体、ナノスケールセルロースフィブリル、セルロースファイバー、セルロースナノフィブリル、セルロースミクロファイバー、セルロースフィブリル、ミクロフィブリルセルロース、ミクロフィブリル凝集体、セルロースミクロフィブリル凝集体など、MFCにはさまざまな頭字語がある。MFCは、広い表面積や、水中に分散したときに低固形分(1〜5wt%)でゲル状の材料を形成する能力など、さまざまな物理的または物理化学的特性によっても特徴付けられることができる。セルロース系繊維は、形成されたMFCの最終比表面積が、BET法で凍結乾燥された材料について決定した時に、約1〜約300m2/g、例えば1〜200m2/g、またはより好ましくは50〜200m2/gであるような程度に、フィブリル化されることが好ましい。
MFC/パルプ混合物からの薄紙は、300m/分の走行速度で抄紙機で製造された。
次の3つのマシンリールが製造された:わずかに精製された松のパルプを約25〜35wt%含むKP1;わずかに精製された松のパルプを約15〜20wt%含むKP2;わずかに精製された松のパルプを約10〜15wt%含むKP3。わずかに精製されたパルプは20kWh/tで精製され、SR値は18〜35である。
Claims (19)
- ・ナノセルロースとセルロース系繊維を含む多孔質繊維ベースの層であって、当該繊維ベースの層の全セルロース含有量に基づいて40〜90重量%のナノセルロースを含み、ISO5636/6に従って測定される空気抵抗が4000s/100ml未満である、前記の多孔質繊維ベースの層、及び
・前記繊維ベースの層の少なくとも片側に取り付けられて前記ラミネートを形成するポリマー層:
を含む、酸素バリア性を有するラミネート。 - 繊維ベースの層が、繊維ベースの層の全セルロース含有量に基づいて、10〜60重量%のセルロース系繊維を含む、請求項1に記載のラミネート。
- セルロース系繊維が60未満のSR値を有する、請求項1または2に記載のラミネート。
- ラミネートが、ASTM D3985−05に従って、50%の相対湿度(RH)で測定された23℃で24時間あたり2000ml/m2未満の酸素透過率(OTR)値および/または85%の相対湿度(RH)で測定された38℃で24時間あたり5000ml/m2未満の酸素透過率(OTR)値を有する、請求項1から3のいずれかに記載のラミネート。
- 繊維ベースの層が、ASTM D3985−05に従って50%の相対湿度(RH)で測定された23℃で24時間あたり10000ml/m2を超える酸素透過率(OTR)値を有する、請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載のラミネート。
- 繊維ベースの層が4未満の耐グリース性KIT値を有する、請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載のラミネート。
- 繊維ベースの層が、標準SCAN−P92:09によるAmbertec Beta形成装置の使用によって測定された0.55を超える比形成を有する、請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載のラミネート。
- 繊維ベースの層が、500kg/m3を超える、好ましくは550〜850kg/m3の密度を有する、請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載のラミネート。
- 繊維ベースの層が、ISO5636−5に従って(ガーレーヒル)測定された4000s/100ml未満、より好ましくは3000s/100ml未満、さらにより好ましくは2000s/100ml未満の多孔率または透過性を有する、請求項1〜8のいずれかに記載のラミネート。
- ポリマーが、ポリエチレン(PE)またはポリプロピレン(PP)などのポリオレフィンである、請求項1〜9のいずれか一項に記載のラミネート。
- 前記繊維ベースの層が、60g/m2未満の坪量を有する、請求項1〜10のいずれか一項に記載のラミネート。
- 前記ポリマー層が、35g/m2未満の坪量を有する、請求項1〜11のいずれか一項に記載のラミネート。
- ナノセルロースがミクロフィブリル化セルロースである、請求項1〜12のいずれかに記載のラミネート。
- 以下の工程を含む、酸素バリア特性を有するラミネートを製造する方法:
・ナノセルロースとセルロース系繊維を含むスラリーを提供すること、
・前記スラリーから、ISO5636/6に従って測定された4000s/100ml未満の空気抵抗を有する繊維ベースの層を形成することであって、ここで、繊維ベースの層は、繊維ベースの層の全セルロース含有量に基づいて40〜90重量%のナノセルロースを含むこと、
・ポリマー層を提供すること、
・繊維ベースの層の少なくとも片面に当該ポリマー層を取り付けることであって、繊維ベースの層の形成は、少なくとも250m/分の製造速度で行われることを特徴とすること。 - 繊維ベースの層の形成が以下の工程を含む、請求項14に記載の方法:
・前記スラリーをワイヤーに導いてウェブを形成すること、
・ワイヤー上のウェブを脱水すること、
・ウェブを乾燥して、前記繊維ベースの層を形成すること。 - 繊維ベースの層の形成が以下の工程を含む、請求項14に記載の方法:
・キャストコーティングにより前記スラリーを基材に導いてウェブを形成すること、
・場合により、前記のウェブを基材から取り外すこと、及び
・ウェブを乾燥して、前記繊維ベースの層を形成すること。 - 請求項1〜13のいずれかに記載のラミネートでラミネートされた紙または板紙製品。
- 請求項1〜13のいずれかに記載のラミネートの、包装紙としての使用。
- 請求項1〜13のいずれかに記載のラミネートの、ポーチとしての使用。
