Abstract
Description
本願は、2017年11月22日出願の米国特許仮出願第62/590,142号の優先権を主張するものであり、この参照をもってその開示内容すべてが本願に取り込まれるものとする。
電子気化器デバイスまたはe気化器デバイスとも称することができる気化デバイスを、気化デバイスのユーザによる蒸気の吸入によって1つまたは複数の有効成分を含有する蒸気を供給するために、使用することができる。電子気化器デバイスは、薬剤供給において処方に従い医学的に使用するためと、タバコおよび他の植物由来の喫煙に適した物質を摂取するための両方について、人気の上昇を博している。電子気化器デバイスは特に、携行可能であり自給式であって、かつ使い勝手がよいものであるかもしれない。一般にかかるデバイスは、気化器上の1つまたは複数のスイッチ、ボタンまたはこれらに類するもの(コントロール)によって制御されるが、最近では、無線で外部のコントローラ(たとえばスマートフォン)と通信可能である多くのデバイスを利用できるようになってきた。
本明細書は、電子気化器のセッション動作のためのデバイス、システムおよび方法について説明するものである。いくつかの態様において、気化器システムは気化器デバイスを含み、この気化器デバイスは、気化可能物質の使用を所定の時間内にセンシングするための1つまたは複数のセンサを有する。1つまたは複数のセンサは、気化可能物質の使用を表す使用データを生成するように構成されている。気化器デバイスはさらに、使用データを無線チャネルに伝達するための第1のトランシーバを含む。システムはさらに、無線チャネルを介して気化器デバイスの第1のトランシーバと通信するように構成された第2のトランシーバを有するモバイル通信デバイスを含む。モバイル通信デバイスは、アプリケーションを格納するメモリと、アプリケーションを実行するためのプロセッサと、アプリケーションの出力を表示するためのユーザインタフェースとを含む。

Claims (24)
- 気化器システムであって、
当該気化器システムは、気化器デバイスとモバイル通信デバイスとを含み、
前記気化器デバイスは、気化可能物質の使用を所定の時間内にセンシングするための1つまたは複数のセンサを有し、前記1つまたは複数のセンサは、前記気化可能物質の使用を表す使用データを生成するように構成されており、前記気化器デバイスはさらに、前記使用データを無線チャネルに伝達するための第1のトランシーバを有し、
前記モバイル通信デバイスは、前記気化器デバイスの前記第1のトランシーバと前記無線チャネルを介して通信するように構成された第2のトランシーバを有し、前記モバイル通信デバイスは、アプリケーションを格納するメモリと、前記アプリケーションを実行するためのプロセッサと、さらに前記アプリケーションの出力を表示するためのユーザインタフェースとを有し、
前記アプリケーションは、
前記ユーザインタフェースを介して、前記気化器デバイスのユーザによる前記気化可能物質の好みの使用についての使用プリファレンスを受け取り、
前記第2のトランシーバを介して、前記気化器デバイスの使用を表す前記使用データを受け取り、
予め決められた時間内に前記使用データを前記使用プリファレンスと比較し、
前記気化可能物質の前記ユーザの好みの使用に対応する、前記気化器デバイスのための動作設定セットを決定し、
前記第2のトランシーバを介して前記無線チャネルを経由し前記気化器デバイスへ、前記気化器デバイスのための前記動作設定セットを送信する
ように構成されている、
気化器システム。 - 前記使用プリファレンスは、前記予め決められた時間にわたり前記気化器デバイスから吸い出されるニコチンの量を含む、請求項1記載の気化器システム。
- 前記使用プリファレンスは、前記気化可能物質の投与量限度を含む、請求項1記載の気化器システム。
- 前記投与量限度は、前記気化器デバイスの使用ごとに指定される、請求項3記載の気化器システム。
- 前記投与量限度は、前記予め決められた時間ごとに指定される、請求項3記載の気化器システム。
- 前記使用プリファレンスは、前記気化器デバイスにより受け取られる、請求項1記載の気化器システム。
- 前記使用プリファレンスは、前記気化器デバイスが使用可能になる前に要求される1つまたは複数のユーザアクションを含む、請求項1記載の気化器システム。
- 前記1つまたは複数のユーザアクションは、前記アプリケーションによる入力アクションおよび前記気化器デバイスによる物理的アクションのうちの少なくとも1つを含む、請求項7記載の気化器システム。
- モバイルコンピューティングデバイスにより実行されるアプリケーションと通信するように構成された気化器デバイスであって、
前記アプリケーションは、当該気化器デバイスのユーザによる気化可能物質の好みの使用についての使用プリファレンスを受け取り、さらに前記気化可能物質の前記ユーザの好みの使用に対応する、当該気化器デバイスのための動作設定セットを決定するように構成されており、
当該気化器デバイスは、気化器本体と、カートリッジと、1つまたは複数のセンサと、トランシーバとを含み、
前記気化器本体は、電源とレセプタクルとコントローラとを有し、
前記カートリッジは、前記気化器本体のレセプタクルと係合するように構成されていて、前記気化可能物質を保持するための貯蔵器と、前記ユーザによる当該気化器デバイスの使用に基づき前記気化可能物質を気化させるためのヒータとを有し、前記ヒータは、前記コントローラにより管理される前記動作設定セットに応答し、
前記1つまたは複数のセンサは、気化可能物質の使用を所定の時間内にセンシングするために、前記気化器本体および/または前記カートリッジと関連づけられており、前記1つまたは複数のセンサは、前記気化可能物質の使用を表す使用データを生成するように構成されており、
前記トランシーバは、無線チャネルを介して前記モバイルコンピューティングデバイスに前記使用データを伝達し、かつ当該気化器デバイスの前記ユーザから受け取った前記気化可能物質の好みの使用についての前記使用プリファレンスに従う、当該気化器デバイスを制御するために、前記動作設定セットを受け取る、
気化器デバイス。 - 前記使用プリファレンスは、前記所定の時間にわたり当該気化器デバイスから吸い出されるニコチンの量を含み、気化器を制御するための前記動作設定セットは、当該気化器デバイスから吸い出されるニコチンの量を制限するための動作設定を含む、請求項9記載の気化器デバイス。
- 前記使用プリファレンスは、前記気化可能物質の投与量限度を含み、前記気化器を制御するための前記動作設定セットは、当該気化器デバイスによる前記気化可能物質の投与量を制限するための動作設定を含む、請求項9記載の気化器デバイス。
- 前記投与量限度は、当該気化器デバイスの使用ごとに指定される、請求項11記載の気化器デバイス。
- 前記投与量限度は、予め決められた時間ごとに指定される、請求項11記載の気化器デバイス。
- 前記気化器本体と関連づけられたユーザ入力デバイスをさらに含み、前記ユーザ入力デバイスは前記使用プリファレンスを受け取る、請求項9記載の気化器デバイス。

前記アプリケーションによって、前記気化器デバイスと関連づけられた1つまたは複数のセンサから、前記気化器デバイスの使用を表す使用データを受け取るステップと、
前記アプリケーションによって、予め決められた時間内に前記使用データを前記使用プリファレンスと比較するステップと、
前記アプリケーションによって、前記気化可能物質の前記ユーザの好みの使用に対応する、前記気化器デバイスのための動作設定セットを決定するステップと、
前記モバイルコンピューティングデバイスによって無線チャネルを介して前記気化器デバイスへ、前記気化器デバイスの動作を制御するために前記気化器デバイス用の前記動作設定セットを送信するステップと、
を含む、
気化器デバイスを動作させる方法。 - 前記使用プリファレンスは、前記予め決められた時間にわたり前記気化器デバイスから吸い出されるニコチンの量を含む、請求項17記載の方法。
- 前記使用プリファレンスは、前記気化可能物質の投与量限度を含む、請求項17記載の方法。
- 前記投与量限度は、前記気化器デバイスの使用ごとに指定される、請求項19記載の方法。
