Claims (21)
- ジオフェンスに関連して1つ以上のマシンツーマシン(M2M)装置の動作を監視する方法であって、
ユーザ定義の位置属性を使用して前記ジオフェンスを設定するステップであって、当該ステップが、複数の形状から1つの形状を選択して描画モードを有効にし、且つ、描画ツールを市販の地図製品と併用して、地図上でマウスをクリックおよびドラッグすることによって前記選択された形状を用いて前記ジオフェンスを描くことによって、ユーザが前記ジオフェンスの境界を定義できるようにすることを含む、ステップと、
前記1つ以上のM2M装置から装置動作情報を受信するステップであって、前記装置動作情報が、前記ジオフェンスに対する前記装置の位置、特定の位置における前記装置の到着時刻、特定の位置からの前記装置の出発時刻、特定の位置における前記装置の速度、特定の時刻における前記装置の速度、およびこれらの組み合わせのうちの1つ以上を含む、ステップと、
前記ジオフェンスに関連して所定のジオフェンスパラメータに基づいて前記装置動作情報を評価するステップと、
前記1つ以上のM2M装置の少なくとも1つが前記ジオフェンスパラメータの外側で動作している場合に警報を発するステップと、
を含む、方法。 - 前記ユーザ定義の位置属性は、緯度、経度、高度、およびこれらの組み合わせのうちの1つ以上を含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記評価するステップは、1つ以上のパラメータに対してユーザによって提供される値を、当該パラメータに対して前記装置動作情報として受信した値と比較することを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。

- 前記1つ以上のM2M装置は、プロセッサと、メモリと、ネットワークと通信する通信アダプタと、センサと、を含む装置である、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記ジオフェンスは、ユーザ定義の地理的領域である、請求項1に記載の方法。
- ジオフェンスに関連して1つ以上のマシンツーマシン(M2M)装置の動作を監視するシステムであって、
ホストされるウェブサービスのデータ格納/管理能力を使用するウェブサイトおよびウェブアプリケーションを構築するためのイネーブルメントプラットフォームを有し、
前記イネーブルメントプラットフォームを使用して作成される前記ウェブアプリケーションが、
ユーザ定義の位置属性を使用して前記ジオフェンスを設定する機能であって、前記ユーザ定義の位置属性が、複数の形状から1つの形状を選択して描画モードを有効にし、且つ、描画ツールを市販の地図製品と併用して、地図上でマウスをクリックおよびドラッグすることによって前記選択された形状を用いて前記ジオフェンスを描くことによって、ユーザが前記ジオフェンスの境界を定義できるようにすることを含む、機能と、
前記設定したジオフェンスに対する所定のジオフェンスパラメータを受信する機能と、
前記ジオフェンスに関連して前記1つ以上のM2M装置およびその動作を追跡する機能と、
前記所定のジオフェンスパラメータに基づいて前記ジオフェンスに関連して装置動作を評価する機能であって、前記1つ以上のM2M装置からの装置動作情報が、前記ジオフェンスに対する前記装置の位置、特定の位置における前記装置の到着時刻、特定の位置からの前記装置の出発時刻、特定の位置における前記装置の速度、特定の時刻における前記装置の速度、およびこれらの組み合わせのうちの1つ以上を含む、機能と、
前記1つ以上のM2M装置の少なくとも1つが前記ジオフェンスパラメータの外側で動作している場合に警報を発する機能と、
を有する、システム。 - 前記ユーザ定義の位置属性は、緯度、経度、高度、およびこれらの組み合わせのうちの1つ以上を含む、請求項8に記載のシステム。
- 前記評価する機能は、1つ以上のパラメータに対してユーザによって提供される値を、当該パラメータに対して前記装置動作情報として受信した値と比較することを含む、請求項8に記載のシステム。
- 前記評価する機能は、前記1つ以上のM2M装置に対する位置情報に関連して前記装置動作情報を評価することを含む、請求項8に記載のシステム。
- 前記位置情報は、前記ユーザ定義の位置属性を使用して前記装置動作情報から取り出される、請求項11に記載のシステム。
- 前記1つ以上のM2M装置は、プロセッサと、メモリと、ネットワークと通信する通信アダプタと、センサと、を含む装置である、請求項8に記載のシステム。
- 前記ジオフェンスは、ユーザ定義の地理的領域である、請求項8に記載のシステム。
- ジオフェンスに関連して1つ以上のマシンツーマシン(M2M)装置の動作を監視する方法をコンピュータに実行させるためのプログラムであって、
ユーザ定義の位置属性を使用して前記ジオフェンスを設定するステップであって、当該ステップが、複数の形状から1つの形状を選択して描画モードを有効にし、且つ、描画ツールを市販の地図製品と併用して、地図上でマウスをクリックおよびドラッグすることによって前記選択された形状を用いて前記ジオフェンスを描くことによって、ユーザが前記ジオフェンスの境界を定義できるようにすることを含む、ステップと、
前記1つ以上のM2M装置から装置動作情報を受信するステップであって、前記装置動作情報が、前記ジオフェンスに対する前記装置の位置、特定の位置における前記装置の到着時刻、特定の位置からの前記装置の出発時刻、特定の位置における前記装置の速度、特定の時刻における前記装置の速度、およびこれらの組み合わせのうちの1つ以上を含む、ステップと、
前記ジオフェンスに関連して所定のジオフェンスパラメータに基づいて前記装置動作情報を評価するステップと、
前記1つ以上のM2M装置の少なくとも1つが前記ジオフェンスパラメータの外側で動作している場合に警報を発するステップと、
を含む、プログラム。 - 前記ユーザ定義の位置属性は、緯度、経度、高度、およびこれらの組み合わせのうちの1つ以上を含む、請求項15に記載のプログラム。
