Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a catheter tip component and a catheter comprising a catheter tip component.
As a treatment method for a thrombotic occlusion site or a stenosis site such as a coronary artery occlusion of the heart or an occlusion of a limb blood vessel, for example, a guide wire is inserted into a blood vessel, introduced to the treatment site, and penetrates the occlusion site or the stenosis site. A treatment method is performed in which a balloon catheter or the like is placed, the balloon is expanded to expand the occluded site or the stenotic site, and a stent is placed at the site as needed.
However, if the occluded portion or the stenotic portion is left for a long period of time after being formed, it may become hardened to the extent that a normal guide wire cannot be penetrated. When such a state is reached, it becomes difficult for the guide wire or balloon catheter to penetrate the occluded site or the stenotic site. A hollow needle with a sharp tip is used as a means for passing through such a hardened occlusion site or stenosis site, and the hollow needle is surrounded by air or liquid at a position slightly retracted from the tip of the hollow needle and expanded and contracted by air or liquid. A catheter provided with a balloon is proposed (Patent Document 1). This catheter inflates the balloon and guides the hollow needle while keeping the peripheral surface of the balloon along the inner wall of the blood vessel, thereby preventing the hollow needle with a sharp tip from coming into contact with the blood vessel wall and reaching the occlusion site. It is said that it is possible to reach the occluded site or the stenotic site without damaging the blood vessel wall.
However, in order to guide the hollow needle with the balloon inflated, it is difficult to introduce it due to the large resistance to the progress, and the balloon cannot pass through in the steeply curved part. There was a problem of doing.
Therefore, the present invention has been made to solve such a problem, and by attaching it to the tip of a catheter, it is possible to effectively penetrate an occluded site or a squeezed site having a hardened thrombus. It is an object of the present invention to provide a catheter tip component that can be formed and does not damage the inner wall surface of a blood vessel, and a catheter having the catheter tip component.
The present invention has taken the following measures to achieve the above object.
The catheter tip component attached to the tip of the catheter according to the present invention is
It has a penetrating portion formed in a tapered shape so that the tip is tapered, and a mounting portion used for mounting the catheter on the rear end side of the penetrating portion.
The penetrating portion is characterized by having a plurality of concave grooves on the surface.
According to such a tip component for a catheter, by attaching it to the tip of a catheter and advancing it while rotating it, it is possible to advance while scraping a thrombus at a occluded site or a stenotic site with a concave groove on the surface, so that it is easily cured. It can penetrate the occluded area and the stenotic area. On the other hand, by making the structure for scraping the thrombus a concave groove, there is no risk of damaging the blood vessel even if the tip component for the catheter comes into contact with the blood vessel during the process, and a safe penetration catheter can be obtained.
In the catheter tip component attached to the tip of the catheter according to the present invention.
It has a penetrating portion formed in a tapered shape so that the tip is tapered, and a mounting portion used for mounting the catheter on the rear end side of the penetrating portion.
The penetrating portion is characterized by having a slope portion whose tip is formed obliquely.
Further, in the tip component for a catheter, the penetrating portion may be characterized by having a plurality of concave grooves on the surface thereof.
According to such a catheter tip component, since the tip is cut at an angle, the tip easily pierces the thrombus at the occluded site or the stenotic site. Therefore, it is possible to proceed while scraping off the thrombus at the occluded site or the stenotic site that has been easily hardened.
Further, in the tip component for a catheter according to the present invention, the concave groove may be formed on the outer periphery of the penetrating portion in a straight line from the tip to the rear end side.
By forming a straight line from the front end to the rear end side, the tip part for the catheter can be rotated to effectively remove a thrombus or the like.
Further, in the tip component for a catheter according to the present invention, the concave groove may be formed in a spiral shape on the outer periphery of the penetrating portion.
By forming the concave groove in a spiral shape, the thrombus can be scraped off by the concave groove not only when the tip component for the catheter is rotated but also when it moves in the traveling direction and the retracting direction.
Further, in the tip component for a catheter according to the present invention, the concave groove is characterized in that spirals in opposite directions are formed at the outer periphery of the penetrating portion so as to intersect like diamonds or crosses. There may be.
By forming a concave groove like a diamond or a cross, the thrombus can be scraped regardless of the direction in which the catheter tip part is in contact with the thrombus.
Further, the tip component for a catheter according to the present invention may be characterized in that a surface portion is provided between the concave groove and the concave groove adjacent to the concave groove.
By making the surface between the adjacent concave grooves, it is possible to reduce the risk of damaging the blood vessels even when the tip component for the catheter comes into contact with the blood vessels or the like.
Further, in the tip component for a catheter according to the present invention, the penetrating portion may be characterized in that a step is provided so that the tip side becomes narrower.
By providing such a step, when penetrating the occluded part or the stenotic part due to the thrombus, the thrombus or the like is caused by the stepped portion in addition to the concave groove by moving in the traveling direction and the retreating direction in addition to the movement in the rotation direction. Can be scraped, and the penetration of the catheter can be further improved.
Further, in the tip component for a catheter according to the present invention,
The catheter tip component has a penetrating portion formed in a tapered shape so that the tip is tapered, and a mounting portion used for mounting the catheter on the rear end side of the penetrating portion.
The penetrating portion may be characterized in that a notch is provided at the tip thereof.
By using such a catheter tip component, a notch is formed at the end of the catheter tip, so that it penetrates such as a completely occluded site in a blood vessel or a stenotic site that is too narrow to insert a catheter. Even when the side surface of the portion cannot be brought into contact with the thrombus, the catheter can be effectively penetrated by scraping the thrombus with the notch at the tip.
Further, in the tip component for a catheter according to the present invention,
A surface portion may be provided between the notch portion and the notch portion adjacent to the notch portion.
By providing the surface portion between the notch portion and the adjacent notch portion, the blood vessel can be brought into surface contact with the blood vessel, so that the risk of damaging the inner wall surface of the blood vessel can be reduced.
Further, the surface of the penetrating portion may be provided with a plurality of concave grooves.
By combining a plurality of concave grooves in addition to the notch, a thrombus can be scraped at both the tip and the outer peripheral surface of the catheter tip component.
Further, the catheter tip component may be characterized in that it is made of metal.
By making the tip part for the catheter out of metal, even a hard thrombus or the like can be effectively scraped.
Furthermore, the present invention provides a catheter to which the above-mentioned tip component for a catheter is attached to the tip. This makes it possible to easily manufacture a catheter having the function of the above-mentioned tip component for a catheter.
According to the tip component for a catheter according to the present invention, by attaching to the tip of a catheter, it is possible to effectively penetrate a occluded site or a stenotic site having a hardened thrombus.

A schematic diagram of the
The outer periphery of the penetrating
The
The
As shown in FIG. 1, the
As described above, according to the
(Second Embodiment)
A perspective view of the
The tip component for a catheter according to the second embodiment is formed as a tubular body having a
The outer periphery of the penetrating
The
As shown in FIG. 1, the
As described above, according to the
The
