Claims (31)
- 撓曲部分を含んでいるカテーテル、および

前記テーパ領域は、前記カテーテルを通る流れを制限することなく前記カテーテルの挿入角度を提供するべく前記カテーテルの前記撓曲部分を支持し、
前記テーパ領域は、前記全長よりも短く、
前記アダプタの前記下側部分の内部湾曲部は、カテーテルアダプタの先端開口部の周囲の一部分にわたって延在し、90°ないし270°の範囲の角度を形成する円弧を画定することを特徴とする血管アクセス装置。 - 前記カテーテルアダプタの先端開口部の前記下側部分の前記内部湾曲部は、面取り部を画定することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の血管アクセス装置。
- 前記カテーテルアダプタの先端開口部の前記下側部分の前記内部湾曲部は、丸味を帯びていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の血管アクセス装置。
- 前記カテーテルアダプタの先端開口部の前記下側部分の前記内部湾曲部は、トランペット形状であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の血管アクセス装置。
- 前記カテーテルアダプタの先端開口部の前記下側部分は、前記遠位先端部から遠ざかるにつれて徐々に減少する前記遠位先端部における半径を画定することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の血管アクセス装置。
- 前記血管アクセス装置は、中心静脈カテーテル、末梢に挿入される中心カテーテル、末梢静脈カニューレ、動脈カテーテル、および中間線カテーテルを含む群から選択されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の血管アクセス装置。
- 前記カテーテルの一部分は、前記カテーテルアダプタの前記内部空洞内に収容されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の血管アクセス装置。
- 前記カテーテルは、前記カテーテルアダプタに固定して取り付けられていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の血管アクセス装置。
- 前記挿入角度は、約1°ないし約60°の範囲内であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の血管アクセス装置。
- 前記挿入角度は、約15ないし45°であることを特徴とする請求項9に記載の血管アクセス装置。
- 前記上側部分の半径は、前記下側部分の半径に対して非対称であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の血管アクセス装置。
- 前記カテーテルアダプタの上側部分は、前記カテーテルに対して接線方向に向けられていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の血管アクセス装置。
- 前記内部空洞内に導入ニードルをさらに備え、前記ニードルは、遠位端部と、近位端部と、前記導入ニードルの前記近位端部に接続されたニードルハブとを有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の血管アクセス装置。
- 前記カテーテルアダプタから延び、前記カテーテルアダプタの前記内部空洞と流体連通する延長チューブを、さらに備えることを特徴とする請求項13に記載の血管アクセス装置。
- ルアーアクセス、血液制御隔壁、換気体および導入ニードルのノッチの少なくとも1つを、さらに備えることを特徴とする請求項14に記載の血管アクセス装置。

- 前記ウィング要素は、前記カテーテルアダプタの一方の側から延びる第1のウィング部材を備えることを特徴とする請求項16に記載の血管アクセス装置。
- 前記ウィング要素は、前記カテーテルアダプタの前記一方の側と反対側に延びる第2のウィング部材を備えることを特徴とする請求項17に記載の血管アクセス装置。
- 前記カテーテルアダプタの少なくとも一部分は、第1の材料から作られ、そして前記遠位先端部の少なくとも一部分は、前記第1の材料よりもより可撓性である第2の材料から作られていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の血管アクセス装置。
- 前記カテーテルアダプタの少なくとも大部分が第1の材料から作られ、そして前記遠位先端部の少なくとも一部分が前記第1の材料よりもより可撓性である第2の材料から作られていることを特徴とする請求項19に記載の血管アクセス装置。
- 前記遠位先端部は、前記カテーテルのための支持部を提供するべく、前記カテーテルアダプタの先端開口部から延在する可撓性でキンク耐性の延長部を含んでいることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の血管アクセス装置。
- 前記カテーテルアダプタから半径方向外方に延びるウィング要素をさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項20に記載の血管アクセス装置。
- 前記ウィング要素は、前記カテーテルアダプタの一方の側から延びる第1のウィング部材を備えることを特徴とする請求項21に記載の血管アクセス装置。
- 前記ウィング要素は、前記カテーテルアダプタの前記一方の側と反対側に延びる第2のウィング部材を備えることを特徴とする請求項22に記載の血管アクセス装置。
- 前記カテーテルは、ポリウレタンから作られていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の血管アクセス装置。
- 前記テーパ領域は、前記カテーテルに対して円錐形の逃げを提供することを特徴とする請求項14に記載の血管アクセス装置。
- 前記ニードルは、前記遠位先端部に斜面をさらに含み、前記ニードルの前記斜面は、前記円錐形の逃げに対して非対称の向きに配向されていることを特徴とする請求項25に記載の血管アクセス装置。

前記上側部分は、テーパ領域を画定する内部湾曲部を有するカテーテルアダプタの先端開口部がなく、アダプタの前記下側部分は、前記カテーテルの前記撓曲部分を所望の患者への挿入角度で支持し、且つ前記カテーテルのキンクを防止するべくテーパ領域を画定する湾曲面を有し、
前記カテーテルに接触する前記アダプタの前記上側部分は、前記カテーテルの患者への挿入中に前記カテーテルの剛性を維持するべく実質的に真っ直ぐな表面および一定の厚さを有し、
前記アダプタの前記下側部分の内部湾曲部は、カテーテルアダプタの先端開口部の周囲の一部分にわたって延在し、90°ないし270°の範囲の角度を形成する円弧を画定することを特徴とする装置。 - 前記カテーテルアダプタの先端開口部の前記下側部分は、断面において、半円弧を画定していることを特徴とする請求項29に記載の装置。
