Abstract
Description
本出願は、その開示全体が参照によって本明細書に援用される2017年10月4日に出願された米国特許出願第15/724,736号の利益および優先権を主張する。
Claims (15)
- 燃料電池モジュール用のダクトであって、
供給ダクトから反応ガスを受けるように構成されている入口を有する上部ダクトフードであって、第1の先細部および前記第1の先細部の下流の第2の先細部を画定する、上部ダクトフードと;
前記上部ダクトフードに流体的に結合される下部ダクトフードであって、少なくとも1つの出口を画定する、下部ダクトフードと、を備え、
側面視において、前記第2の先細部は、下流方向において内方に先細となり、
上面視において、前記第1の先細部は、下流方向において内方に先細となり、
前記上面視において、前記第2の先細部は、下流に進むにつれて外方に先細となる、ダクト。 - 前記第2の先細部が、実質的に一定の断面積を画定する、請求項1に記載のダクト。
- 前記側面視において、前記第1の先細部が、下流方向において内方に先細となる、請求項1に記載のダクト。
- 空気供給部からの空気を拡散しかつ前記空気を前記上部ダクトフードに送り込むように構成されている拡散組立体をさらに備える、請求項1に記載のダクト。
- 前記拡散組立体が、前記空気を、前記上部ダクトフードの前記入口を通る反応ガスの流れの方向からずれた角度で出力するように構成されている出口を含む、請求項4に記載のダクト。
- 前記下部ダクトフードが、第1の脚部を含み、前記第1の脚部は、燃料電池スタックで用いるためのガス混合物を出力するように構成されている出口を画定する、請求項1に記載のダクト。
- 燃料電池モジュールであって、
請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載の前記ダクトと;
複数の燃料電池スタックであって、各燃料電池スタックは、ガス混合物を受けるように構成されている入口を画定する、複数の燃料電池スタックと、を備え、
前記下部ダクトフードの前記少なくとも1つの出口は、対応する燃料電池スタックの対応する入口に流体的に結合され、
少なくとも1つの複数羽根は、前記出口の両側に枢動可能に結合され、前記少なくとも1つの複数羽根は、前記ガス混合物の前記流れを前記入口に方向付けるように構成されている、燃料電池モジュール。 - 前記少なくとも1つの複数羽根が、第1の複数羽根と、前記第1の複数羽根から独立して関節結合するように構成されている第2の複数羽根と、を含む、請求項7に記載のダクト。
- 前記ダクトの前記出口と前記燃料電池スタックの前記入口の間に間隙が設けられ、前記間隙は、それらの間の電気接触を防ぐように構成されている、請求項7に記載の燃料電池モジュール。
- 請求項7に記載の燃料電池モジュールであって、
前記下部ダクトフードが、2つの脚部を含み、各脚部は、出口を画定し、
各出口は、対応する燃料電池スタックに流体的に結合される、燃料電池モジュール。 - 請求項7に記載の燃料電池モジュールであって、
2つのダクトをさらに備え、
前記複数の燃料電池スタックが4つの燃料電池スタックを含み、各ダクトは、前記燃料電池スタックのうちの2つと流体的に結合されるように構成されている、燃料電池モジュール。 - 前記出口が前記入口と実質的に同じ高さである、請求項7に記載の燃料電池モジュール。
- 燃料電池用の燃料を混合する方法であって、
請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載の前記ダクトの第1の端部で、反応ガスの流れを受けることと;
拡散組立体の入口で空気を受けることと;
前記ダクトにおける燃料の前記流れに対して角度をなして前記拡散組立体からの空気を出力することと;
前記拡散組立体からの前記空気と反応ガスの前記流れを混合して、ガス混合物を形成することと;
前記ダクトの出口から、実質的に均一な温度および成分ガス種の実質的に均一な混合を有する前記ガス混合物を出力することと、を含む、方法。 - 第1のバッフルを用いて、前記ガス混合物の少なくとも一部を前記ダクトの面から離れるように向け直すことをさらに含む、請求項13に記載の方法。
- 複数羽根を用いて、前記ガス混合物の前記流量を、燃料電池スタックの入口における決められた高さに制御することをさらに含む、請求項13に記載の方法。
