Abstract
Description
時差走査熱量計(DSC、Mettler社)を用いて接着層のガラス転移温度を確認した。前記のような硬化条件で製造された偏光板の接着層を分離した後、−30℃ないし200℃昇温させ、セカンドラン(second run)でのガラス転移温度を測定した。
)からなる基から選択された1種以上であってもよい。特に、本明細書において、フェニルビス(2,4,6−トリメチルベンゾイル)−ホスフィンオキサイド(phenylbis(2,4,6−trimethylbenzoyl)−Phosphine oxide)が使用できるが、これに限定されるものではない。
(1)接着剤組成物の製造
第1エポキシ系化合物として、セロキサイド(Celloxide)2021pを使用し、第2エポキシ系化合物として、1,4−シクロヘキサンジメタノールジグリシジルエーテル(LD 204、ハジンコムテク社)を使用しており、オキセタン化合物として、3,3’−オキシビス(メチレン)ビス(3−エチルオキセタン)(OXT 221)、3−エチル−3−ヒドロキシメチルオキセタン(OXT 101)および3−エチル−3−(2−エチルヘキシルオキシ)メチルオキセタン(OXT 212)の3種を使用し、ジアクリレート系化合物として、ジシクロペンタジエンジアクリレート(DCPDA)およびジプロピレングリコールジアクリレート(DPGDA)の2種を使用して接着剤組成物を製造した。また、前記接着剤組成物100重量部に対し、重合開始剤としてIRGACURE 250の3重量部および光増感剤としてESACURE ITXの1重量部を混合して最終の接着剤組成物を製造した。前記重合開始剤および光増感剤を除いた、残りの組成のそれぞれの含量は、下記表1に記載された通りである。
40μmのアクリルフィルムおよびUV吸収剤(LAF 70)が添加された60μmのアクリルフィルムにそれぞれコロナ(5v、3回)処理した後、前記コロナ処理されたアクリルフィルムをPVA素子の両面に付着した後、前記方法で製造された接着剤組成物をスポイドで2ml塗布した後、ラミネーター(Excellami−355Q)を速度5m/minおよび圧力範囲7に設定して通過させた。以後、貼り付けられた偏光板をUV照射装置(Metal halide lamp)ベルトの上で2000mJ/cm2の紫外線を照射して偏光板を製造した。
下記表1のように、それぞれの含量を異ならせたことを除いては、前記実験例1で接着剤組成物および偏光板を製造した方法と同様にそれぞれの接着剤組成物および偏光板を製造した。

下記表5のように、それぞれの含量を異ならせたことを除いては、前記実験例1で接着剤組成物および偏光板を製造した方法と同様にそれぞれの接着剤組成物および偏光板を製造した。
<評価例1>−偏光板剥離力評価
前記実験例1ないし13、実験例1−1ないし1−11、実験例2−1ないし2−6、実験例3−1ないし3−3、実験例4−1ないし4−3および実験例5−1ないし5−4で製作した偏光板に対して偏光子と偏光板保護フィルムとの剥離力を測定した。剥離実験は、幅20mmおよび長さ100mmの偏光板を用い、速度300m/min、90゜で剥離時の剥離力を測定した。その結果を表1ないし5の接着力として示した(単位:N/2cm)。
前記実験例1ないし13、実験例1−1ないし1−11、実験例2−1ないし2−6、実験例3−1ないし3−3、実験例4−1ないし4−3および実験例5−1ないし5−4で製作した偏光板に対して高温耐水性評価を行った。前記製作された偏光板を幅6mm、長さ10mmに切り出した後、60℃の恒温槽で24時間の間放置した後、偏光子の収縮によってクラックが生じて光が漏れるかを観察し、光が漏れるクラック(crack)の発生有無によってOKとNGとに区分した(クラック未発生:OK、クラック発生:NG)。その結果を下記表1ないし5に示した。
前記実験例1ないし13、実験例1−1ないし1−11、実験例2−1ないし2−6、実験例3−1ないし3−3、実験例4−1ないし4−3および実験例5−1ないし5−4で製作した偏光板に対して熱衝撃評価を行った。ガラスラミネーション(Glass lamination)された偏光板を耐久評価(−40℃ないし80℃、100cycle)を行った後、偏光板の見掛けを評価した(変形なし:OK、PVAクラック発生時:NG)。その結果を下記表1ないし5に示した。
前記実験例1ないし13、実験例1−1ないし1−11、実験例2−1ないし2−6、実験例3−1ないし3−3、実験例4−1ないし4−3および実験例5−1ないし5−4で製作した偏光板に対して浮き発生評価を行った。ガラスラミネーション(Glass lamination)された偏光板を60℃の恒温槽で24時間放置後、切り出した面を確認した(浮き発生時:OK、浮き未発生時:NG)。その結果を下記表1ないし5に示した。

Claims (11)
- 第1エポキシ系化合物;第2エポキシ系化合物;オキセタン化合物;およびジアクリレート系化合物を含む接着剤組成物において、
前記オキセタン化合物は、3,3’−オキシビス(メチレン)ビス(3−エチルオキセタン)、3−エチル−3−ヒドロキシメチルオキセタンおよび3−エチル−3−(2−エチルヘキシルオキシ)メチルオキセタンを含み、
前記ジアクリレート系化合物は、ジシクロペンタジエンジアクリレートおよびジプロピレングリコールジアクリレートを含み、
前記接着剤組成物の全体100重量部に対し、前記オキセタン化合物は32ないし49重量部で含まれ、前記ジアクリレート系化合物は8ないし12重量部で含まれる、接着剤組成物。 - 前記第1エポキシ系化合物は、脂環族エポキシ系化合物である請求項1に記載の接着剤組成物。
- 前記接着剤組成物の全体100重量部に対し、前記第1エポキシ系化合物は20ないし50重量部で含まれる請求項1または2に記載の接着剤組成物。
- 前記第2エポキシ系化合物は、脂肪族エポキシ系化合物である請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の接着剤組成物。
- 前記接着剤組成物の全体100重量部に対し、前記第2エポキシ系化合物は10ないし30重量部で含まれる請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の接着剤組成物。
- 前記接着剤組成物の全体100重量部に対し、3,3’−オキシビス(メチレン)ビス(3−エチルオキセタン)は4ないし8重量部、3−エチル−3−ヒドロキシメチルオキセタンは4ないし6重量部、3−エチル−3−(2−エチルヘキシルオキシ)メチルオキセタンは24ないし35重量部で含まれる請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載の接着剤組成物。
- 陽イオン重合開始剤をさらに含む請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載の接着剤組成物。
- 偏光子;前記偏光子の少なくとも一面に備えられ、請求項1ないし7のうちいずれか一項に記載の接着剤組成物を用いて形成された接着剤層;および
前記接着剤層上の少なくとも一面に備えられた保護フィルムを含む、偏光板。 - 前記接着剤層の厚さは、0μm超過ないし20μm以下である請求項8に記載の偏光板。
- 前記保護フィルムは、アクリル系フィルムである請求項8または9に記載の偏光板。
- 表示パネル;および
前記表示パネルの一面または両面に備えられた請求項8〜10のいずれか一項に記載の偏光板を含む、画像表示装置。
