Abstract
Description
(i)後方散乱に関する他のデバイス、すなわち音声起動スマートデバイス(例えば、Amazon Echo(登録商標)、Google Home(登録商標)等)の助けを借りて、音響的に電話機の位置を特定できる。B−Tx及びB−Rxの両方は、マイクロフォン及びスピーカへのアクセス手段を有し、音声起動デバイスはマイクロフォンアレイを有する。該アレイを利用することで、TDOA(Time Difference Of Arrival)のような従来の技術を用いて電話機の位置を特定できる。
(ii)別のアプローチは、スマートTV、音声起動無線ハブ、アクセスポイント等の複数の据え置き型WIFIデバイスを屋内スペースで利用して、マルチリテレート(multi-literate)し、スマートフォンの位置を特定することである。
Claims (20)
- 1つの周波数でRF(Radio Frequency)信号を放射するように構成された少なくとも1つのRF後方散乱送信機と、
前記RF信号を反射し、異なる周波数に周波数シフトするように構成された、商品に関連付けられたパッシブRF後方散乱タグと、
前記パッシブRF後方散乱タグによる前記RF信号の反射及び周波数シフトで生成された分散型環境後方散乱信号を検出することで、前記異なる周波数で商品を読み取るように構成された少なくとも1つのRF後方散乱受信機と、
を有する商品タグ付けシステム。 - 前記後方散乱タグは、前記少なくとも1つのRF後方散乱送信機からの前記RF信号を、前記受信機による受信のために、異なる直交チャネルに周波数シフト及び後方散乱するように構成された、請求項1に記載の商品タグ付けシステム。
- 前記少なくとも1つのRF後方散乱送信機及び前記少なくとも1つのRF後方散乱受信機は、後方散乱のための3つのチャネルの利用を連動し、前記3つのチャネルのうちの2つは送信のために設定され、前記3つのチャネルのうちの残りの1つは受信のために設定され、前記パッシブRF後方散乱タグは、前記3つのチャネルのうちの1つの分散型環境後方散乱信号として検出される、混合周波数を生成するためのパッシブミキサを有する、請求項1に記載の商品タグ付けシステム。
- 前記少なくとも1つのRF後方散乱送信機からの送信は、前記パッシブタグによって前記分散型環境後方散乱信号の周波数をシフトするために必要とされる信号を含む、請求項3に記載の商品タグ付けシステム。
- 前記パッシブ後方散乱タグは、前記少なくとも1つのRF後方散乱送信機で使用される第1の帯域と、前記第1の帯域と直交し、前記少なくとも1つのRF後方散乱受信機で使用される第2の帯域とで、前記RF信号を同時に後方散乱するように構成された、請求項1に記載の商品タグ付けシステム。
- 前記パッシブRF後方散乱タグは、基本周波数及び少なくとも1つの高調波周波数を含む複数の信号として、前記分散型環境後方散乱信号を生成する、請求項1に記載の商品タグ付けシステム。
- 前記少なくとも1つの高調波周波数を増幅するように構成された、アンテナと結合された同調回路をさらに有する、請求項6に記載の商品タグ付けシステム。
- 前記少なくとも1つのRF後方散乱送信機及び前記少なくとも1つのRF後方散乱受信機のうちの1つは、モノスタティック構成における同じモバイルデバイスまたは据え置き型デバイスでホストされる、請求項1に記載の商品タグ付けシステム。
- 前記少なくとも1つのRF後方散乱送信機及び前記少なくとも1つのRF後方散乱受信機のうちの1つは、バイスタティック構成における2つの個別のデバイスでホストされる、請求項1に記載の商品タグ付けシステム。
- 前記パッシブRF後方散乱タグは、情報を保存し、前記情報を前記少なくとも1つのRF後方散乱受信機に伝達するために前記RF信号を変調する、請求項1に記載の商品タグ付けシステム。
- 前記パッシブRF後方散乱タグは、前記情報をパケットレベルまたはビットレベルの粒度で符号化し、前記タグの応答は、前記後方散乱信号の送信及び反射の両方を含む単一フェーズにおけるパケットまたはビットの変調の有無の形態で、前記少なくとも1つのRF後方散乱受信機に直接伝達される、請求項1に記載の商品タグ付けシステム。
- 前記少なくとも1つのRF後方散乱送信機及び前記少なくとも1つのRF後方散乱受信機は、商品にタグ付けする以外の主目的を有する、既存の別の目的で使用するデバイスで具現化される、請求項1に記載の商品タグ付けシステム。
- 前記少なくとも1つのRF後方散乱送信機または少なくとも1つのRF後方散乱受信機をホストするデバイスは、所与の環境で読み取られたタグの在庫一覧を管理するように構成される、請求項1に記載の商品タグ付けシステム。
- 前記少なくとも1つのRF後方散乱送信機は、前記少なくとも1つのRF後方散乱受信機の位置に基づいて前記商品の位置を推測するように構成され、前記タグからの前記分散型環境後方散乱信号を受信する、請求項1に記載の商品タグ付けシステム。
- 前記後方散乱受信機の位置は、前記環境において利用可能なRF及び音響デバイスを用いて推定される、請求項14に記載の商品タグ付けシステム。
- 前記少なくとも1つのRF後方散乱受信機は、複数の異なる位置からの後方散乱信号読み取り値を取得するための複数のRF後方散乱受信機を備える、請求項1に記載の商品タグ付けシステム。
- 後方散乱の送信及び受信に使用される複数のチャネルは、商品デバイスで利用可能な標準化されたRFチャネルで具現化される、請求項1に記載の商品タグ付けシステム。
- 第1及び第2の伝送チャネルをさらに有し、前記第1の伝送チャネルは、所望のRFキャリア信号を搬送し、前記第2の伝送チャネルは、前記分散型環境後方散乱信号を生成するために必要とされる2つのキャリアトーンを搬送する、請求項1に記載の商品タグ付けシステム。
- 前記所望のRF搬送波送信信号は、前記少なくとも1つのRF後方散乱受信機による受信を容易にするために、別の標準化されたRF技術の搬送波に埋め込まれる、請求項18に記載の商品タグ付けシステム。
- 少なくとも1つのRF後方散乱送信機によって、1つの周波数のRF(Radio Frequency)信号を放射し、
商品に関連付けられたパッシブRF後方散乱タグによって、RF信号を反射し、異なる周波数に周波数シフトし、
少なくとも1つのRF後方散乱受信機によって、前記パッシブRF後方散乱タグによる前記RF信号の反射及び周波数シフトで生成された分散型環境後方散乱信号を検出することで、前記異なる周波数で商品を読み取る、商品タグ付けのための方法。
