実施例で使用したエンジンは、標準のPSA DV6 1.6L Euro 5エンジンであった。クリーンなEGRシステムを計量し、エンジンに取り付けた。
表3の結果および図1のグラフから分かるように、従来のディーゼルB7燃料に比し、GTL燃料の場合におけるEGRコンポーネント上に形成される堆積物の量が有意に低減している。
Claims (10)
- 圧縮点火内燃エンジンの排気ガス再循環(EGR)システムにおける堆積物の蓄積を低減させるためのディーゼル燃料組成物中のパラフィン系ガス油の使用。
- 前記パラフィン系ガス油が、前記パラフィン系ガス油の総重量に基づいて、95重量%超のパラフィンを含む、請求項1に記載の使用。
- 前記パラフィン系ガス油が、前記パラフィン系ガス油の前記総重量に基づいて、98重量%超のパラフィンを含む、請求項1または2に記載の使用。
- 前記パラフィン系ガス油が、フィッシャー・トロプシュ由来のガス油および水素化処理植物油(HVO)由来のガス油、ならびにそれらの混合物から選択される、請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の使用。
- 前記パラフィン系ガス油が、フィッシャー・トロプシュ由来のガス油である、請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載の使用。
- 前記フィッシャー・トロプシュ由来のガス油が、ディーゼル燃料組成物全体に基づいて、10%v/v〜100%v/vのレベルで存在する、請求項4または5に記載の使用。
- 前記フィッシャー・トロプシュ由来のガス油が、前記ディーゼル燃料組成物全体に基づいて、50%v/v〜100%v/vのレベルで存在する、請求項4または6に記載の使用。
- 前記フィッシャー・トロプシュ由来のガス油が、40℃で2.0〜5.0mm2/sの範囲内の動粘度、および0.76〜0.80g/cm3の範囲内の密度を有する、請求項4〜7のいずれかに記載の使用。
- 前記ディーゼル燃料組成物が、ディーゼル系燃料をさらに含む、請求項1〜8のいずれかに記載の使用。
- 圧縮点火内燃エンジンの排気ガス再循環(EGR)システムにおける堆積物の蓄積を低減させる方法であって、パラフィン系ガス油を含むディーゼル燃料組成物を前記エンジン内に導入するステップを含む、方法。
