Abstract
Description
驚くべきことに、リグニンが分散している水性媒体にアルカリを加えることなく、リグニンの分散液を調製できることがわかった。さらに、驚くべきことに、水性媒体に加熱を加えることなく分散液が得られることがわかった。
水性媒体中のリグニンの分散液を調製する方法であって、
a)1〜7のpHを有する水性媒体を準備するステップ、
b)この水性媒体にリグニンを添加するステップ、および
c)水性媒体中のリグニンの分散液が得られるまで混合するステップを含む、
上記方法。
d)水性媒体にアルカリ、フェノールおよび/またはホルムアルデヒドを添加するステップ、
e)少なくとも30分間、ステップd)の混合物を30℃から95℃の温度に維持するステップ。
本明細書を通して、表現「リグニン」は、あらゆる種類のリグニンを包含することを意図している。例えば、リグニンは、広葉樹(硬材)、針葉樹(軟材)または環状植物(annular plant)に由来する。好ましくは、リグニンは、例えば、Kraftプロセスにおいて生成されるアルカリ性リグニンである。次いで、リグニンは、WO2006/031175に開示されたプロセスを使用することによって黒液から分離することができる。
リグニン488g(クラフトリグニン、純度95%)を室温で水951gに加えた。混合物を、リグニンが水に分散するまで約10分間撹拌した。分散液のpHは、約3であった。水酸化ナトリウム240gを混合物に加え、混合物を約30分間撹拌した。混合物の温度は、水酸化ナトリウムの添加後に上昇した(発熱)。混合物を約30分間撹拌した後、pHは約13であった。
Claims (9)
- リグニン分散液の調製方法であって、
a)1〜7のpHを有する水性媒体を準備するステップ、
b)この水性媒体にリグニンを添加するステップ、および
c)水性媒体中のリグニンの分散液が得られるまで混合するステップを含む、
上記方法。 - 樹脂の調製方法であって、
a)1〜7のpHを有する水性媒体を準備するステップ、
b)この水性媒体にリグニンを添加するステップ、
c)水性媒体中のリグニンの分散液が得られるまで混合するステップ、
d)水性媒体にアルカリ、フェノールおよび/またはホルムアルデヒドを添加するステップ、ならびに
e)少なくとも30分間、この混合物を30℃から95℃の温度に維持するステップを含む、
上記方法。 - ステップa)、b)およびc)が水性媒体を積極的に加熱することなく実施される、請求項1または2に記載の方法。
- ステップc)における分散液中のリグニンの量が5〜60重量%である、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- ステップc)における分散液中のリグニンの量が35〜60重量%である、請求項4に記載の方法。
- ステップa)における水性媒体のpHがpH2〜5である、請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 請求項1に記載の方法によって得られる分散液。
- 請求項2〜6のいずれか1項に記載の方法によって得られる樹脂。
- 請求項8に記載の樹脂を使用して製造された、積層体、加工木材製品または断熱製品。
