Description
生成される振動は、アプリケータの長手方向軸に実質的に平行に配向されてもよい。変形例において、振動は、アプリケータの長手方向軸に対して実質的に垂直であってもよい。
組成物に関連して使用される「塗布する」又は「塗布」は、組成物を角質組織の表面上に塗布する又は塗り広げることを意味する。
本明細書に記載される美容スキンケア製品は、皮膚の対象部分にスキンケア組成物を塗布するか、又はスキンケア組成物が既に塗布された皮膚の対象部分の上に配置するか、いずれか一方に好適なアプリケータを含む。アプリケータの特定の形状は、皮膚への塗布の対象となる標的領域によって異なり得る。例えば、場合によっては、スキンケア組成物は、全身用クリームであてもよく、アプリケータは、例えば、脚、腕、腹、及び/又は背中など表面の広い身体部位にクリームを塗布するために使用されてもよい。この場合、磁気アレイは、ユーザが迅速かつ簡単に比較的広い表面積をカバーできるようにする好適なサイズ及び形状である必要があるだろう。あるいは、スキンケア組成物は、顔などのより小さい領域(例えば、頬、額、顎、鼻、及び眼窩周囲部)での使用を意図される場合がある。このような場合、アプリケータ及び磁気アレイは、以下でより詳細に論じられるように、対応して成形及びサイズ決定されるであろう。
本発明のアプリケータは、ビタミンB3化合物などの特定のスキンケア有効成分の浸透性を高めるように特別に調整された磁気アレイを有する。本明細書に述べられる磁気アレイは、選択的に磁化された永久磁石(すなわち、電池のような外部電源なしでそれ自体の持続する磁場を発生する材料)を使用して磁場を発生させるものである。磁石は、鉄化合物(例えば、バリウムフェライトなどのフェライト、マグネタイト、又は軟鋼など)、コバルト材料、ストロンチウム材料、バリウム材料、ニッケル材料、これらの合金及び酸化物、これらの組み合わせなどを含むがこれらに限定されない多くの公知の強磁性基材のうちのいずれか1つで形成することができる。材料は、ホウ素、炭素、ケイ素、リン又はアルミニウムなどの非金属成分を含んでもよい。ネオジウム又はサマリウムなどの希土類材料も使用することができる。
実施形態では、振動源は、最大1mm、1.5mm、又は2mmの振動の振幅を有してもよい。振動源は、0.1mm、0.2mm、0.4mm、又は0.5mmの最小振幅を有してもよい。好ましくは、振動源は、双極磁石の隣接するピーク間のピッチの約半分の振幅を有する。振動の振幅が隣接するピーク間のピッチの約半分である場合、理論上、全ての反磁性粒子は、ある点で、好ましくは繰り返し、最大反磁力を経験するべきである。
生成される振動は、アプリケータの長手方向軸に実質的に平行に配向されてもよい。変形例において、振動は、アプリケータの長手方向軸に対して実質的に垂直であってもよい。
本発明のスキンケア組成物は、哺乳動物の角質組織、詳細にはヒトの皮膚に塗布することができる。美容組成物は、様々な形態をとってもよい。例えば、形態のいくつかの非限定例としては、溶液、懸濁液、ローション、クリーム、ゲル、化粧水、スティック、ペンシル、スプレー、エアゾール、軟膏、クレンジング洗剤液及びクレンジング棒状固形物、シャンプー及びヘアコンディショナー、ペースト、フォーム、パウダー、ムース、髭剃りクリーム、ワイプ、ストリップ、パッチ、電動パッチ、創傷被覆材及び粘着性包帯、ヒドロゲル、フィルム形成製品、顔及び皮膚マスク、化粧品(例えば、ファンデーション、アイライナー、アイシャドウ)などが挙げられる。
本明細書に述べられるスキンケア製品は、使用者の日課の一環としてスキンケア組成物を1つ以上の皮膚表面に塗布するために使用することができる。消費者は、所望量のスキンケア組成物をアプリケータ上に分注し、次いでアプリケータの皮膚接触面を使用して組成物をその人の皮膚の標的領域に塗布することによってスキンケア製品を使用することができる。これを行ううえで、アプリケータ内部に配置された磁気アレイが、スキンケア組成物中の反磁化されやすい物質と共に、皮膚内に浸透するスキンケア有効成分の体積を増やすように作用することができる。スキンケア組成物は、使用者が手でアプリケータに塗布してもよく(例えば、アプリケータを用いて容器から組成物の一部を掬い取ることによって)、及び/又は組成物をアプリケータ内に設けられたリザーバ内に入れておき、アプリケータの皮膚接触面上に組成物を自動的に分注してもよい。
クリームからのPal KTTKSの増強(振動あり対振動なし)
この方法は、皮膚内に存在するスキンケア活性物質の量を測定し、スキンケア活性物質の能動的塗布と受動的塗布を比較する、好適な手段を提供する。各被験者の前腕の掌側面の2箇所に同じ7.9cm2の円形領域をマークした。スキンケア配合物(表1に示される各成分)の測定した用量(約9mg)を、線で囲った領域にスクリュー作動型注射器によって塗布した。塗布は、各場合で、背後に磁気アレイが置かれた金属アルミニウム製皮膚接触面を有する特製のアプリケータを使用して行った。クリームを、アプリケータを使用して、通常の指による塗布に似せた約3.5cm/sの固定速度の掃引動作で線で囲った領域全体にわたって均一に塗り広げた。塗布時間は30秒間とし、その間に目視によって配合物の均一な分配及び皮膚による吸収を確認した。次いで、塗布領域を更に30分間覆わずに放置して確実に完全に吸収させた。次いで塗布領域をよく拭き取って表面の物質を全て取り除いた後、テープ剥離を行った。
皮膚浸透を、フランツ拡散セルアッセイを使用して測定した。ヒト死体の分層(皮膚)を周囲条件で解凍し、適切な大きさの小片に切り分け、次に約37℃に維持して標準的なフランツ型拡散セル(0.79cm2の表面積)に積載した。レセプターコンパートメントに、1%ポリソルベート−20及び0.02%アジ化ナトリウムを添加した5mLのリン酸緩衝生理食塩水(PBS−pH7.4)を満たし、皮膚を2時間平衡化させた。セルを、積載した皮膚を通過する3H2O流束で満たした(5分間適用された150μLの3H2Oを除去し、レセプター流体を1時間後に回収し、シンチレーション分光法を用いて分析した)。水の流束に基づいて各セルを等級付けし、セルを各処理群に分配することにより拡散セルをランダム化することで、それぞれの群が、観察した水の流束の範囲にわたったセルを含むようにした。
Claims (15)
- スキンケア製品用のアプリケータであって、
a)磁気アレイが中に埋め込まれた基材であって、前記磁気アレイが、交番磁極の1つ以上の双極子対の少なくとも1つの層を有する、基材と、
b)振動源と、を備える、アプリケータ。 - 前記磁極が、距離x(mm)離れて配置され、xが1以上である、請求項1に記載のアプリケータ。
- 前記振動源が、xの少なくとも半分の振動の振幅で振動するように構成されている、請求項1又は請求項2に記載のアプリケータ。
- 前記振動源が、最大2mmの振幅で振動するように構成されている、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載のアプリケータ。
- 前記振動源が、0.5Hz〜1000Hzの間の振動の周波数を有する、請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載のアプリケータ。
- 前記振動源が、中心から外れた浮上重量及び2500〜10000RPMの間の回転速度を駆動するモータである、請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載のアプリケータ。
- アプリケータであって、
a)導電性先端部と、
b)導電性基部を有するハンドルと、
c)前記振動源用の電源と、を備え、前記導電性先端部及び導電性基部が、電流経路を検出すると前記電源を起動させるタッチスイッチ回路の一部である、請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載のアプリケータ。 - アプリケータであって、
a)前記振動源用の電源と、
b)ユーザの皮膚と接触するための先端部と、
c)前記アプリケータと皮膚との接触時に、前記電源を起動させるための、前記先端部に設けられた1つ以上のセンサと、を更に備える、請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載のアプリケータ。 - 前記磁気アレイが、1.7〜2.5の間のピッチ及び約24.0〜36.0mTの間の磁場強度を有する、交番磁極の少なくとも1つの双極子対の第1の層を含む、請求項1〜8のいずれか一項に記載のアプリケータ。
- 前記第1の層が、0.8〜1.2mmの間の厚さを有する、請求項9に記載のアプリケータ。
- 前記磁気アレイが、ビタミンB3有効成分の好ましくはナイアシンアミド、ペプチドの好ましくはPal KTTKS、又は糖アルコールの好ましくはイノシトール、を含む群から選択されるスキンケア有効成分と共に使用するために最適化されている、請求項9又は請求項10に記載のアプリケータ。
- 美容スキンケア製品であって、
a)請求項1〜10のいずれか一項に記載のアプリケータと、
b)パルミトイル−リシン−トレオニン−トレオニン−リシン−セリンペプチド(Pal−KTTKS)及び皮膚科学的に許容可能な担体を含むスキンケア組成物と、を含む、美容スキンケア製品。 - 美容スキンケア製品であって、
a)請求項1〜10のいずれか一項に記載のアプリケータと、
b)ナイアシンアミドなどのビタミンB3有効成分と、皮膚科学的に許容可能な担体とを含むスキンケア組成物と、を含む、美容スキンケア製品。 - 美容スキンケア製品であって、
a)請求項1〜10のいずれか一項に記載のアプリケータと、
b)イノシトール及び皮膚科学的担体を含むスキンケア組成物と、を含む、美容スキンケア組成物。 - スキンケア有効成分を含むスキンケア組成物をケラチン表面に塗布するために、請求項1〜10のいずれか一項に記載のアプリケータを使用することを含む、皮膚状態を美容的に調節する方法。
