Description

  The present invention relates generally to jewelry, and more particularly to a jewelry system for carrying a liquid substance such as lip gloss or perfume.

  Jewelery is well known in the art and provides a means for men and women to customize and match clothing. For example, necklaces, earrings, and key chains are just a few items used to match clothing.

  One of the problems commonly associated with traditional jewelry is the excitement and uniqueness. For example, many people wear similar jewelry items and therefore cannot express their unique sense of personality or style through their jewelry.

  Thus, while great progress has been made in the field of jewelry, many disadvantages remain.

  The novel features which are believed to characterize embodiments of the present application are set forth in the appended claims. However, the embodiments themselves, as well as preferred aspects of use, and further objects and advantages thereof, are best understood with reference to the following detailed description when read in conjunction with the accompanying drawings.

  Referring now to the drawings, wherein like reference numerals identify corresponding or similar elements throughout the several views, FIGS. 1-4 show various views of a jewelry system 101 according to a preferred embodiment of the present application. . It will be appreciated that the system 101 overcomes one or more of the above-listed problems generally associated with conventional jewelry systems.

  In a contemplated embodiment, the system 101 includes a rocket 103 having a container 105 enclosed within an interior 300 of the rocket 103. The rocket 103 is solid or, alternatively, connected to the back 301 by one or more hinges 107 and one or more closure clasps 109, as shown in FIGS. It is contemplated that the door 303 may include a closed door 303, thereby allowing the door 303 to open and close. In this embodiment, the container 105 may be removed and replaced, thereby providing a means for a user to change the purpose and contents of the container 105.

  In a preferred embodiment, the container 105 includes a lid 111 configured to extend above the upper surface of the rocket 103. Lid 111 further includes an applicator 113 that extends into the interior of container 105. Container 105 is configured to hold a liquid substance, such as lip gloss, perfume, essential oil, or bubble spray liquid. One contemplated means of removing the lid 111 is by means of a threaded connection 305 on the container 105. However, it should be appreciated that various connection means may be used.

  In a preferred embodiment, the rocket 103 includes a loop 115 secured to the back of the rocket 103, as shown in FIG. It should be appreciated that the loop 115 may be secured to the rocket 103 by any means, thereby providing a place to attach a chain, cord, or other similar device.

  As shown in FIGS. 5A-5C, various contemplated embodiments of applicator 113 are shown. In one embodiment 501, the applicator 113 is a solid piece of plastic, which makes it suitable for use with perfume. In an alternative embodiment 503, the applicator 113 further includes a foam cover 505 configured to cover an end of the applicator 113, thereby being suitable for use with lip gloss. In yet another alternative embodiment 507, the applicator 113 includes a hole 509 and the applicator may be used with a bubble spray liquid disposed within the container 105. It should be appreciated that applicator 113 can vary in size and material.

  It should be appreciated that one of the unique features that may be characteristic of the present application is the incorporation of the container 105 into the rocket. It should be understood that this feature provides a means for the user to carry a liquid substance, such as lip gloss or perfume, within the fashionable piece of jewelry.

  6 and 7, two exemplary embodiments of a jewelry item with the system 101 incorporated are shown. In FIG. 6, the system 101 is attached to a necklace 601 having one or more chains 603a, 603b and one or more charms 605 connected to the chains 603a, 603b, and a predetermined neck around the user's neck. It is configured to be inserted through loop 115 to hold necklace 601 in place. It should be appreciated that the chains 603a, 603b can vary in materials including metal, nylon, and / or silk. It should further be appreciated that additional chains and charms may be incorporated into necklace 601 while maintaining the essential functionality of system 101. It is further contemplated that the charm 605 can be removable, replaceable, and / or attached to additional chains or at various locations on the necklace, thereby providing additional means of customization.

  In FIG. 7, a key chain 701 having the system 101 is shown. It is contemplated that loop 115 may be used to attach chain 703 to key ring 705 to create key chain 701, thereby providing an alternative means of carrying system 101. It should be appreciated that the chain 703 can alternatively be directly attached to the rocket 103 or to any other means suitable for securing the system 101 to the keychain.

  It should be recognized that the various components of the system 101 can vary in shape, size, and material as aesthetic, functional, or manufacturing considerations require.

  8, the front view shows an alternative embodiment of a jewelry system 801 with a container 803 configured to hold cosmetics or perfume therein and further including an applicator 805 integral with a lid 807. In this embodiment, a loop 809 or similar structure is attached directly to container 803, thereby providing a means to mount and use the contents of container 803 without a rocket. It should be appreciated that system 801 can replace system 101 in connection with necklaces, key chains, and the like, as described above. Further, the contents of the applicator and the container can be modified as described above.

  The specific embodiments disclosed above are exemplary only, and may be modified and implemented in different but equivalent ways apparent to those skilled in the art having the benefit of the teachings herein. It is therefore evident that the particular embodiments disclosed above may be changed or modified and all such variations are considered within the scope and spirit of the present application.
