Abstract

Illustrated views of a multiple use necklace device and a bracelet for dispensing perfume and beauty products is presented. The multiple use necklace device and bracelet are useful for providing a jewelry adornment for a neck of a person. Furthermore, the multiple use necklace device and bracelet are useful for providing access to one or more perfumes in a single piece of jewelry. The multiple use necklace device and bracelet also allows for other beauty products to be carried within the multiple use necklace device and bracelet.

Description

FIELD OF THE INVENTION

This invention relates to jewelry. More particularly, it relates to multiple uses for jewelry.

BACKGROUND

A necklace is an article of jewelry that is worn around the neck. Necklaces may have been one of the earliest types of adornment worn by humans. They often serve ceremonial, religious, magical, or funerary purposes and are also used as symbols of wealth and status, given that they are commonly made of precious metals and stones.
The main component of a necklace is the band, chain, or cord that wraps around the neck. These are most often rendered in precious metals such as gold, silver, and platinum. Necklaces often have additional attachments suspended or inset into the necklace itself. These attachments typically include pendants, lockets, amulets, crosses, and precious and semi-precious materials such as diamond, pearls, rubies, emeralds, garnets, and sapphires. They are made with many different types of materials and are used for many things and sometimes classed as clothing.
A bracelet is an article of jewelry that is worn around the wrist. Bracelets may serve different uses, such as being worn as an ornament. When worn as ornaments, bracelets may have a supportive function to hold other items of decoration, such as charms. Medical and identity information are marked on some bracelets, such as allergy bracelets, hospital patient-identification tags, and bracelet tags for newborn babies. Bracelets may be worn to signify a certain phenomenon, such as breast cancer awareness, or for religious/cultural purposes.
If a bracelet is a single, inflexible loop, it is often called a bangle. When it is worn around the ankle it is called an ankle bracelet or anklet. A boot bracelet is used to decorate boots. Colloquially, handcuffs are sometimes called bracelets. Bracelets can be manufactured from metal, leather, cloth, plastic, bead or other materials, and jewelry bracelets sometimes contain jewels, rocks, wood, shells, crystals, metal, or plastic hoops, pearls and many more materials.
Necklaces and bracelets are one-trick ponies in that they are used for ornamental effect. When a person is out and does not have a side bag or purse, they may want to freshen up with perfume and/or beauty products like blush and makeup. This requires the person to carry the perfume and beauty products separately and thus is not convenient.
Accordingly, in light of the foregoing, there is a need for a device that can be worn as jewelry and has access to perfume and beauty products to alleviate a need to carry the perfume and beauty products separately. Further, the device should be easy to open and dispense the perfume and/or beauty products.

Reference is now made in detail to the description of the embodiments as illustrated in the drawings. Referring to FIG. 1A, an illustrated view of an exemplary multiple use necklace device 100 for dispensing perfume and beauty products is presented. The multiple use necklace device 100 is useful for providing a jewelry adornment for a neck of a person. Furthermore, the multiple use necklace device 100 is useful for providing access to one or more perfumes in a single piece of jewelry. The multiple use necklace device 100 also allows for other beauty products to be carried within the multiple use necklace device 100.
The multiple use necklace device 100 has a body 110. The body 110 has an outside 130 and an interior 150.
The interior 150 of the body 110 is preferably hollow, however it is hereby contemplated that the interior 150 of the body 110 may be solid, semi-hollow, etc.
A first opening 136 in a first portion 111 of outside 130 of the body 110 allows for the delivery of perfume or other liquid to the interior 150 of the first portion 111 of the body 110. A second opening 156 in a second portion 112 of outside 130 of the body 110 allows for the delivery of perfume or other liquid to the interior 150 of the second portion 112 of the body 110.
The body 110 is preferably made of a metal material, however other materials are hereby contemplated, including, but not limited to, aluminum, poly-vinyl chloride (PVC), etc. A first end 113 of the first portion 111 of the body 110 is removably and securely coupled to a second end 114 of the second portion 112 by a first coupling device 115 and a second end 116 of the first portion 111 of the body 110 is removably and securely coupled to a first end 117 of the second portion 112 by a second coupling device 118.
The first end 113 of the first portion 111 has a roller 119. The first end 113 of the second portion 112 has a roller 120.
The roller 119 of the first portion 111 of the body 110 is for dispensing of the liquid onto a skin or other receiving device contained in the interior 150 of the body 110.
The roller 120 of the second portion 112 of the body 110 is for dispensing of the liquid onto a skin or other receiving device contained in the interior 150 of the body 110.
The first coupling device 115 is preferably a snap coupler, however other types of coupling devices are hereby contemplated, including, but not limited to, pressure coupling, etc. The second coupling device 118 is preferably a snap coupler, however other types of coupling devices are hereby contemplated, including, but not limited to, pressure coupling, etc.
The outside 130 has a plurality of first reservoirs 131. Each of the first reservoirs 131 has a holding area 132 and a cap 133. The holding area 132 is coupled to a top 134 of the first reservoirs 131 and is an indent into the outside 130 of the body 110. The cap 133 is coupled to the top 134 of the first reservoirs 131 such that the holding area of the first reservoirs 131 can be accessed. Optionally, and or additionally, the cap 133 has an icon 135. The cap 132 is removable from and recoupled to the top 134 of the first reservoirs 131. Preferably the icon 135 indicates a fragrance contained on the interior 150 of the body 110 or a beauty product contained in the holding area 132 of the first reservoirs 131.
The outside 130 has a plurality of second reservoirs 137. Each of the second reservoirs 137 has a holding area 138 and a cap 139. The holding area 138 is coupled to a top 140 of the second reservoirs 137 and is an indent into the outside 130 of the body 110. The cap 139 is coupled to the top 140 of the second reservoirs 137 such that the holding area 138 of the second reservoirs 131 can be accessed. Optionally, and or additionally, the cap 139 has an icon 141. The cap 139 is removable from and recoupled to the top 140 of the second reservoirs 137. Preferably the icon 141 indicates a fragrance contained on the interior 150 of the body 110 or a beauty product contained in the holding area 138 of the second reservoirs 137.
Moving now to FIG. 2 , an illustrated view of an exemplary bracelet 500 for dispensing of perfume and beauty products to a person is presented.
The bracelet device 500 has a body 510. The body 510 has an outside 530 and an interior 550.
The interior 550 of the body 510 is preferably hollow, however it is hereby contemplated that the interior 550 of the body 510 may be solid, semi-hollow, etc.
An opening 536 in the outside 530 of the body 510 allows for the delivery of perfume or other liquid to the interior 550 of the body 510.
The body 510 is preferably made of a metal material, however other materials are hereby contemplated, including, but not limited to, aluminum, poly-vinyl chloride (PVC), etc. The body 510 is a single mold construction, however it is contemplated that the body 510 may be made in separate parts and the parts coupled together. A first end 513 of the body 510 is removably and securely coupled to a second end 514 of the of the body 510 by a coupling device 515.
The first end 513 has a roller 519. The roller 519 is for dispensing of the liquid onto a skin or other receiving device contained in the interior 550 of the body 510.
The coupling device 515 is preferably a snap coupler, however other types of coupling devices are hereby contemplated, including, but not limited to, pressure coupling, etc.
The outside 530 has a plurality of first reservoirs 531. Each of the first reservoirs 531 has a holding area 532 and a cap 533. The holding area 532 is coupled to a top 534 of the first reservoirs 531 and is an indent into the outside 530 of the body 510. The cap 533 is coupled to the top 534 of the first reservoirs 531 such that the holding area of the first reservoirs 531 can be accessed. Optionally, and or additionally, the cap 533 has an icon 535. The cap 533 is removable from and recoupled to the top 534 of the first reservoirs 531. Preferably the icon 535 indicates a fragrance contained on the interior 550 of the body 510 or a beauty product contained in the holding area 532 of the first reservoirs 531.

Claims

What is claimed is:

1. A multiple use necklace device for dispensing perfume and beauty products, the device comprising:

a body, the body comprising:

a first portion, the first portion having an inside and an outside, wherein the inside being for storing a liquid;

the outside having a plurality of reservoirs and a hole, the hole being for accessing the inside for receiving the liquid;

each of the reservoirs having a holding area and a cap, wherein the holding area being for holding a beauty product, wherein the cap being removably coupled to a top of the reservoir; and

a first end, the first end having a first coupling device and a roller, the roller being for dispensing of the liquid stored in the inside;

a second end;

a second portion, the second portion having an inside and an outside, wherein the inside being for storing a liquid;

each of the reservoirs having a holding area and a cap, wherein the holding area being for holding a beauty product, wherein the cap being removably coupled to a top of the reservoir;

a first end, the first end end having a second coupling device and a roller, the roller being for dispensing of the liquid stored in the inside, wherein the first end being coupled to the second end of the first portion; and

a second end, wherein the second end of the second portion receiving the first coupling device of the first end of the first.

2. The device of claim 1, wherein the first coupling device being a snap connector.

3. The device of claim 1, wherein the body being made of a metal material.

4. The device of claim 1, wherein the cap of the first portion having an icon.

5. The device of claim 4, wherein the icon being representative of a fragrance of the liquid in the inside of the first portion of the body.

6. The device of claim 1, wherein the cap of the second portion having an icon.

7. The device of claim 6, wherein the icon being representative of a fragrance of the liquid in the inside of the second portion of the body.

8. The device of claim 1, wherein each of the reservoirs of the first portion having a beauty product.

9. The device of claim 1, wherein each of the reservoirs of the second portion having a beauty product.

10. A bracelet for dispensing of perfume and beauty products to a person, the bracelet comprising:

a body, the body comprising:

an inside, wherein the inside being for storing a liquid;

an outside having a plurality of reservoirs and a hole, the hole being for accessing the inside for receiving the liquid;

a first end, the first end having a coupling device and a roller, the roller being for dispensing of the liquid stored in the inside; and

a second end, the second end being for receiving the coupling device of the first end.

11. The bracelet of claim 10, wherein the coupling device being a snap connector.

12. The bracelet of claim 10, wherein the body being made of a metal material.

13. The bracelet of claim 10, wherein the cap of the first portion having an icon.

14. The bracelet of claim 13, wherein the icon being representative of a fragrance of the liquid in the inside of the first portion of the body.

15. The bracelet of claim 10, wherein each of the reservoirs having a beauty product.
