Description
Claims (21)
- 頭部装着ディスプレイ(HMD)で用いる仮想現実(VR)コンテンツを見るときの不快感を軽減する方法であって、
不快感を生じさせる可能性がある対応するベースラインVRコンテンツの生成に関連する複数の学習済みパターンを識別するモデルにアクセスすることと;
第1のアプリケーションを処理して、前記第1のアプリケーションの第1のVRコンテンツとのシミュレーションされたユーザインタラクションと関連するデータを生成することと;
不快感を生じさせる可能性があるパターンを識別するように、前記データを前記モデルと比較して、前記学習済みパターンの少なくとも1つと合致する前記データにおける前記パターンを識別することと;
識別されたパターンに対応する前記第1のアプリケーションにおける領域を識別することと;
ユーザにおける潜在的な不快感を軽減する目的で、前記領域内に不快感軽減フィルタ効果を適用することとを含む、方法。 - 不快感軽減フィルタ効果の前記適用が、さらに、
前記領域における前記第1のアプリケーションの実行に関連して生成されたVRコンテンツに視野絞りを適用することを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記ユーザの頭部の動きの速度が増加するにつれて視野を減少させることと;
前記ユーザの頭部の動きの速度が減少するにつれて視野を増大させることとをさらに含む、請求項2に記載の方法。 - 不快感軽減フィルタ効果の前記適用が、さらに、
前記第1のアプリケーションの実行に関連して生成されたVRコンテンツへオーバーレイとして視野絞りをリアルタイムで適用することを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記ユーザが前記不快感軽減フィルタ効果におけるパラメータを変更することを可能にするユーザインタフェースを提示することをさらに含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- パラメータの変更に応答して、前記不快感軽減フィルタ効果の大きさを増大させることをさらに含む、請求項5に記載の方法。
- パラメータの変更に応答して、前記不快感軽減フィルタ効果の大きさを低減させることをさらに含む、請求項5に記載の方法。
- 前記ユーザからのリクエストに応答して前記不快感軽減フィルタ効果を無効にすることをさらに含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記ユーザからのリクエストに応答して前記不快感軽減フィルタ効果を有効にすることをさらに含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 第1のアプリケーションの前記処理が、さらに、
前記第1のアプリケーションを実行して前記第1のVRコンテンツを生成することと;
前記第1のVRコンテンツとのシミュレーションされたユーザインタラクションに関連する前記データを抽出することであって、前記データは前記第1のアプリケーションの実行中に生成される、前記抽出することとを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。 - 頭部装着ディスプレイ(HMD)で用いる仮想現実(VR)コンテンツを見るときの不快感を軽減する方法であって、
アプリケーションを実行して、ユーザによってインタラクトするVRコンテンツを生成することと;
前記ユーザにおける不快感を示す入力を受信することと;
潜在的な不快感を軽減する目的で、表示するために生成されたVRコンテンツに不快感軽減フィルタ効果を適用することとを含む、方法。 - 入力の前記受信が、さらに、前記ユーザによって能動的に生成された前記入力を受信することを含む、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 入力の前記受信が、さらに、前記ユーザによって受動的に生成された前記入力を受信することを含む、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 前記ユーザが前記コンテンツとインタラクトしている間、前記ユーザの生理学的応答をモニタリングすることをさらに含む、請求項13に記載の方法。
- 前記生理学的応答が、胃筋電図記録、電気皮膚抵抗、アルファ波、心拍、視線検出及び頭部の動きの少なくとも1つを含む、請求項14に記載の方法。
- 前記不快感軽減フィルタ効果の前記適用が、さらに、
現在表示されている前記VRコンテンツに視野絞りを適用することを含む、請求項11に記載の方法。 - 前記ユーザの頭部の動きの速度が増加するにつれて視野を低減することと;
前記ユーザの頭部の動きの速度が減少するにつれて視野を増大することとをさらに含む、請求項16に記載の方法。 - 前記不快感軽減フィルタ効果の前記適用が、さらに、
前記アプリケーションの実行に関連して生成されたVRコンテンツへオーバーレイとして視野絞りをリアルタイムで適用することを含む、請求項11に記載の方法。 - 前記ユーザからのリクエストに応答して前記不快感軽減フィルタ効果を無効にすることをさらに含む、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 前記ユーザからのリクエストに応答して前記不快感軽減フィルタ効果を有効にすることをさらに含む、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 頭部装着ディスプレイ(HMD)で用いる仮想現実(VR)コンテンツを見るときの不快感を軽減するコンピュータプログラムを格納する非一時的なコンピュータ可読媒体であって、
アプリケーションを実行してユーザによってインタラクトするVRコンテンツを生成するプログラム命令と;
前記ユーザにおける不快感を示す入力を受信するプログラム命令と;
前記VRコンテンツへオーバーレイとして視野絞りをリアルタイムで適用することによって、潜在的な不快感を軽減する目的で、表示するために生成されたVRコンテンツに不快感軽減フィルタ効果を適用するプログラム命令とを備える、非一時的なコンピュータ可読媒体。
