- 表示パネルと、
前記表示パネルと重畳する前面パネルとを有し、
前記前面パネルは、
第1基板と、
前記第1基板の前記表示パネルとは反対側にある第2基板と、
を備え、
画像を表示させる状態と、反射像が得られる反射状態とに切り替え可能なアクティブ領域と、前記アクティブ領域の周囲にある額縁領域と、を有し、
前記第2基板の前記額縁領域には、金属層が配置され、
前記第1基板の厚みは、0.4mm以下である

前記表示パネルと重畳する前面パネルとを有し、
前記前面パネルは、
第1基板と、
前記第1基板の前記表示パネルとは反対側にある第2基板と、
を備え、
画像を表示させる表示状態と、反射像が得られる反射状態とに切り替え可能なアクティブ領域と、前記アクティブ領域の周囲にある額縁領域と、を有し、
前記第2基板の前記額縁領域には、金属層が配置され、
前記第1基板の厚みは、前記第2基板の厚みよりも小さい、

前記第1基板の厚みは、0.35mm以下である、請求項1又は2に記載の表示装置。 - 前記第1基板が樹脂で構成されており、
前記第1基板の厚みは、0.40mm以下である、請求項1又は2に記載の表示装置。 - 前記第1基板と、前記第2基板との間に封止された液晶層と、
前記第1基板の前記液晶層がある側に設けられた第1透光性電極と、
前記第2基板の前記液晶層がある側に設けられた第2透光性電極と、
を備え、
前記金属層は、前記第2透光性電極の周辺にある周辺反射部と、前記第1透光性電極又は前記第2透光性電極に電力を供給する配線とを含む、請求項1から4のいずれか1項に記載の表示装置。 - 入射光が反射する反射状態と、入射光が透過する透過状態でかつ画像表示可能なミラー装置であって、
請求項1から請求項5のいずれか1項に記載の表示装置と、車両の後方の画像を撮像する撮像装置を備える、ミラー装置。
