Description
図1は、実施形態1の表示装置のアクティブ領域を説明するための模式的な平面図である。図1に示すように、画像を表示する表示状態と、反射像が得られる鏡状態(反射状態)とに切り替え可能なアクティブ領域10と、アクティブ領域10の周囲にある額縁領域10Fとがある。
図20は、実施形態2の表示状態における静電容量検出のタイミングチャートである。実施形態2の表示装置100は、タイミングチャートに示すガード信号Vgd以外は、実施形態1の表示装置100と同じ構成である。なお、実施形態1で説明した構成要素については、同じ符号を付して、説明を省略する。
図21は、実施形態3の表示装置の断面図である。実施形態3の表示装置100は、FPC18が第2基板12に接続されている点で、実施形態1の表示装置100と異なる構成である。なお、実施形態1で説明した構成要素については、同じ符号を付して、説明を省略する。
図22は、実施形態4の表示装置の断面図である。実施形態4の表示装置100は、液晶層19がIPSの一形態であるFFS等の横電界モードである点で、実施形態3の表示装置100と異なる構成である。なお、実施形態3で説明した構成要素については、同じ符号を付して、説明を省略する。

- 表示パネルと、
前記表示パネルと重畳するとともに、入射光が反射する反射状態と、入射光が透過する透過状態とを切り替える前面パネルとを有し、

被検出体の存在が検出可能である、
表示装置。 - 前記前面パネルは、
第1基板と、
前記第1基板と対向する第2基板と、
前記第1基板に設けられた第1透光性電極と、
前記第2基板に設けられた第2透光性電極と、
を備え、
前記第1透光性電極又は前記第2透光性電極によって、前記被検出体の存在が検出可能である、
請求項1に記載の表示装置。 - 前記第2透光性電極が複数に分割されている、請求項2に記載の表示装置。
- 前記第1透光性電極が複数に分割されている、請求項3に記載の表示装置。
- 前記第2透光性電極が複数に分割され、端部に沿う電極が、中央寄りの電極よりも小さい、請求項2に記載の表示装置。
- 前記第2透光性電極には、前記被検出体の存在を検出するための交流矩形波が印加される、請求項2から5のいずれか1項に記載の表示装置。
- 前記第2透光性電極には、前記反射状態と、前記透過状態とにおいて、同じ第1電圧が印加されており、前記透過状態において、前記交流矩形波が前記第1電圧に重畳する、請求項6に記載の表示装置。
- 前記第1透光性電極は、前記反射状態において基準電圧であり、
前記透過状態において、前記基準電圧と異なる第2電圧が前記第1透光性電極に印加され、前記第2透光性電極に交流矩形波が印加されるタイミングで、前記第1透光性電極には、基準電圧が印加され、かつ前記交流矩形波と同じ信号が印加される、請求項6又は7に記載の表示装置。 - 分割された前記第2透光性電極は、アナログフロントエンドに電気的に接続されている、請求項2から8のいずれか1項に記載の表示装置。
- 前記第1基板と前記第2基板との間には、液晶層がある、請求項2から9のいずれか1項に記載の表示装置。
- 前記第1透光性電極と前記第2透光性電極との間には、縦電界が加わる、請求項10に記載の表示装置。
- 前記第1透光性電極と前記第2透光性電極との間には、横電界が加わる、請求項10に記載の表示装置。
- 前記第1基板と前記第2基板との間には、エレクトロクロミック層がある、請求項2から8のいずれか1項に記載の表示装置。
- 入射光が反射する反射状態と、入射光が透過する透過状態でかつ画像が表示可能なミラー装置であって、
請求項1から請求項4のいずれか1項に記載の表示装置と、前記画像を撮像する撮像装置を備える、ミラー装置。
