Description

The present invention provides a washing tank for storing tableware, a washing nozzle provided in the washing tank, a washing pump for supplying washing water in the washing tank to the washing nozzle, and detecting a level of washing water in the washing tank. The present invention relates to a dishwasher provided with a water level detecting device.

In a dishwasher of this type, if a detergent that easily foams is used, a large amount of foam acts as a cushion on the surface of the dish, and even if the washing water is jetted vigorously from the washing nozzle, the washing water that hits the dish The power is weakened to make it difficult to remove dirt, and a large amount of bubbles are sucked into the cleaning pump, thereby lowering the discharge pressure of the cleaning water from the cleaning pump.

In view of this, there is conventionally known a device in which the generation of bubbles can be detected by a water level detection device according to Patent Document 1. The water level detection device generally includes a water level detection chamber that communicates with the washing tank, a float that moves up and down according to the water level in the water level detection chamber, and a water level detection unit that detects the water level by moving the float up and down. When the water is supplied to the washing tank, the water level in the water level detection chamber rises to a predetermined water supply stop water level, and when the water level is detected by the water level detecting unit, the water supply to the washing tank is stopped. And the thing of patent document 1 is provided with the bubble detection electrode provided in the part in the water level detection chamber above the water supply stop water level. When a large amount of bubbles are generated in the cleaning tank, the bubbles rise to a level higher than the water supply stop water level in the water level detection chamber, and the bubbles come into contact with the bubble detection electrode, thereby detecting the generation of bubbles.

However, in the above-described conventional example, since the water level detection chamber is easily filled with water vapor, the bubble detection electrode provided in the water level detection chamber is easily corroded. Then, in order to ensure durability, it is necessary to form the foam detection electrode with a material having high corrosion resistance such as SUS304, which increases the cost.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION In view of the above, an object of the present invention is to provide a dishwasher capable of securing durability without forming a foam detection electrode with a material having high corrosion resistance.

In order to solve the above problems, the present invention provides a cleaning tank for storing tableware, a cleaning nozzle provided in the cleaning tank, a cleaning pump for supplying cleaning water in the cleaning tank to the cleaning nozzle, and a cleaning tank. A dishwasher including a water level detection device that detects a water level of the washing water in the inside, wherein the water level detection device is a water level detection chamber communicating with the cleaning tank, and a float that moves up and down according to the water level in the water level detection room. A water level detection unit that detects a water level by moving the float up and down, and the water level in the water level detection chamber rises to a predetermined water supply stop water level when water is supplied to the cleaning tank, and the water level is detected by the water level detection unit. In the one that stops water supply to the water level detection device, the water level detection device is provided above the water supply stop water level, and is provided near a communication port that communicates inside and outside the water level detection chamber and a portion near the communication port outside the water level detection chamber. Bubbles overflowing from the communication port Characterized in that it comprises a contactable bubble sensing electrodes.

According to the present invention, when a large amount of foam is generated in the cleaning tank, the foam swells above the water supply stop water level in the water level detection chamber, the foam overflows from the communication port, comes into contact with the foam detection electrode, and the foam is generated. Is detected. And since a foam detection electrode is arrange | positioned outside a water level detection chamber, exposure to water vapor can be suppressed and it becomes hard to corrode. Therefore, the durability can be ensured without forming the foam detection electrode with a material having high corrosion resistance, and the cost can be reduced. In addition, since the communication port is located above the water supply stop water level, the washing water does not overflow from the communication port and touch the foam detection electrode, thereby preventing erroneous detection.

Further, in the present invention, the water level detecting device is provided on the outer surface of the chamber wall portion having the communication port of the water level detection chamber and extends in a direction orthogonal to or oblique to the chamber wall portion at a position close to the communication port. It is preferable that a guide plate is provided, and a bubble detection electrode is disposed on a surface of the guide plate facing the communication port side. According to this, the foam overflowing from the communication port is guided along the guide plate so as to reach the arrangement portion of the foam detection electrode, and the reliability of the detection of the occurrence of the foam is improved.

1 is a schematic cut-away side view of a dishwasher according to an embodiment of the present invention. The perspective view of the water level detection apparatus with which the dishwasher of embodiment is provided. FIG. 3 is a cut-away side view of the water level detection device in FIG. 2.

The dishwasher according to the embodiment of the present invention shown in FIG. 1 is a built-in type provided with a washing tank 2 housed in an outer case 1 having an open front so as to be able to be pulled out forward. A tableware basket 21 is provided in the cleaning tank 2, and the tableware W is stored in the cleaning tank 2 while being placed on the tableware basket 21. Further, water is supplied into the washing tank 2 through a water supply passage 3 provided with a water supply valve 3a.

Further, a washing nozzle 22 for spraying washing water toward the tableware basket 21 and a heater 23 are provided in the washing tank 2. At the bottom of the cleaning tank 2, a water pool 2a is formed in a concave shape. Further, a washing pump 4 communicating with the water pool 2a is provided, and a water level detecting device 5 for communicating with the water pool 2a and detecting a water level in the cleaning tank 2 is provided.

Here, when the cleaning pump 4 is rotated forward, the cleaning water in the cleaning tank 2 is supplied to the cleaning nozzle 22, and when the cleaning pump 4 is rotated in reverse, the cleaning water in the cleaning tank 2 is drained through the drain passage 6. Is done. Further, a drying fan 7 for blowing air for drying into the cleaning tank 2 is provided in the outer case 1. The dishwasher further includes a controller 8 for controlling the heater 23, the water supply valve 3a, the washing pump 4, the drying fan 7, and the like, and a notifying means 9 for notifying the user with a buzzer, a lamp or the like.

When the operation switch of the dishwasher is turned on, the washing operation is performed under the control of the controller 8. In the cleaning operation, first, the water supply valve 3a is opened to supply water to the cleaning tank 2, and when the water level in the cleaning tank 2 reaches a predetermined water level and this is detected by the water level detecting device 5, the water supply valve 3a is closed. Then, the water supply is stopped, and a detergent is mixed with water in the washing tank 2 from a detergent supply means (not shown) to generate washing water. Then, after the supply of water is stopped, the heater 23 is energized and the cleaning pump 4 is rotated forward to inject the cleaning water from the cleaning nozzle 22 while heating, thereby performing a cleaning process for a predetermined time. After the completion of the cleaning process, the cleaning pump 4 is reversed to drain the cleaning water in the cleaning tank 2, and then the cleaning tank 2 is supplied with water until a predetermined water level is reached. The washing water containing no detergent is sprayed from 22 to perform a rinsing step for a predetermined time. After completion of the rinsing step, the cleaning pump 4 is reversed to drain the cleaning water in the cleaning tank 2, and then the heater 23 is energized and the drying fan 7 is driven to perform a drying step for a predetermined time.

Next, the water level detecting device 5 will be described in detail with reference to FIGS. The water level detection device 5 includes a water level detection chamber 51 that communicates with the water reservoir 2a of the cleaning tank 2 via a communication port 511 at the bottom, a float 52 that moves up and down according to the water level in the water level detection chamber 51, and a float 52. And a water level detection unit 53 that detects a water level by vertical movement of the water. Then, when the water level in the water level detection chamber 51 rises to a predetermined water supply stop water level (the water level in the cleaning tank 2 is the predetermined water level) UL when the water is supplied to the cleaning tank 2 and this is detected by the water level detecting section 53. The water supply to the cleaning tank 2 is stopped. The water level detection unit 53 includes a detection rod 531 connected to the float 52 and protruding above the upper lid 54 through a through hole 541 formed in the upper lid 54 of the water level detection chamber 51, and a water level in the water level detection chamber 51 when the water supply stop water level is reached. The detection switch 532 detects when the detection rod 531 moves up to the UL and moves up to a predetermined position.

More specifically, the upper cover 54 is provided with an upright plate 542 that extends upward. A through hole 541 is formed in a portion of the upper lid 54 adjacent to the front of the upright plate 542, with the direction perpendicular to the plate surface of the upright plate 542 as the front-rear direction and the left side in FIG. The erecting plate 542 is formed with a vertically long guide hole 542a through which a ridge 531a projecting from the upper rear surface of the detection rod 531 is inserted. A detection switch 532 composed of a reed switch is provided on the upper front surface of the upright plate 542, and a magnet 531b is incorporated at the upper end of the detection rod 531. Then, when the water level in the water level detection chamber 51 rises to the water supply stop water level UL and the detection rod 531 moves upward to a predetermined position, the upper end of the detection rod 531 comes into contact with the detection switch 532, and the magnetic force of the magnet 531b. , The detection switch 532 is turned on.

The water level detection device 5 is further disposed near the communication port 55 provided above the water supply stop water level UL and communicating between the inside and outside of the water level detection chamber 51 and the communication port 55 outside the water level detection chamber 51. In addition, a pair of bubble detection electrodes 56, 56 with which bubbles overflowing from the communication port 55 can come into contact are provided. In addition, an overflow port 512 located above the water supply stop water level UL is provided in a chamber wall portion on one lateral side of the water level detection chamber 51. The communication port 55 is formed in the upper cover 54 of the water level detection chamber 51 so as to extend forward from the through hole 541 in a slit shape, and is located above the overflow port 512.

Further, a guide plate portion 57 is provided on the outer surface of the upper lid 54, which is a chamber wall portion where the communication port 55 of the water level detection chamber 51 is opened, and extends in a direction orthogonal to or oblique to the upper lid 54 at a position close to the communication port 55. Have been. In the present embodiment, the guide plate portion 57 includes the upright plate 542. A pair of bubble detection electrodes 56 are arranged on the front surface of the guide plate portion 57 facing the communication port 55 side, in the vicinity of the communication port 55.

According to the above-described configuration, when a large amount of foam is generated in the cleaning tank 2 using the easily foaming detergent, the foam rises above the water supply stop water level UL also in the water level detection chamber 51, and the foam flows from the communication port 55. It overflows and comes into contact with the pair of bubble detection electrodes 56, 56, and the generation of bubbles is detected by conduction between the two electrodes 56, 56. In particular, since the bubbles overflowing from the communication port 55 are guided along the guide plate portion 57 to reach the arrangement portions of the bubble detection electrodes 56, 56, the reliability of the detection of the generation of bubbles is improved. When the generation of bubbles is detected, the washing operation is interrupted, an abnormality is notified by the notification means 9, and a defoaming step of discharging the generated bubbles is executed.

Here, since each of the bubble detection electrodes 56 is disposed outside the water level detection chamber 51, exposure to water vapor can be suppressed, and corrosion becomes difficult. Therefore, the durability can be ensured even if each bubble detection electrode 56 is not formed of a material having high corrosion resistance and is, for example, tin-plated using iron as a base material, and the cost can be reduced.

Further, since the communication port 55 is located above the water supply stop water level UL, the washing water does not overflow from the communication port 55. Therefore, it is possible to prevent the washing water overflowing from the communication port 55 from touching the bubble detection electrodes 56, 56 and erroneously detecting the same. Further, in the present embodiment, since the communication port 55 is located above the overflow port 512, even when the water level rises above the water supply stop water level UL and the washing water overflows from the overflow port 512, the cleaning port 55 is used for cleaning from the communication port 55. Water does not overflow, and erroneous detection can be reliably prevented.

Although the embodiments of the present invention have been described with reference to the drawings, the present invention is not limited thereto. For example, in the above-described embodiment, the communication port 55 is provided in the upper lid 54 of the water level detection chamber 51. However, the communication port is provided in a portion above the water supply stop water level UL of any of the front, rear, left, and right walls of the water level detection chamber 51. It is also possible to set up. In this case, a guide plate portion extending in a direction orthogonal or oblique to the chamber wall portion is provided on the outer surface of the chamber wall portion where the communication port is opened, adjacent to the lower side of the communication port, and communicates with the guide plate portion. The bubble detection electrode may be disposed on the upper surface, which faces the mouth, in the vicinity of the communication port. The above embodiment is a built-in dishwasher, but the present invention can be similarly applied to a tabletop dishwasher having an openable / closable door attached to the front of a washing tank.
