Abstract
Description

Claims (15)
- 銃口を画定する銃身を有する小火器用のサウンドサプレッサにおいて、
内面を画定する略管状筐体であって、入口端部キャップ及び出口端部キャップを有しており、前記入口端部キャップは、前記サウンドサプレッサを前記銃口に固定するための取付け構造を画定する筐体と、
前記筐体内に配置される複数の略管状バッフルと、
を備えており、
各管状バッフルは、バッフル壁を画定しており、隣接する各管状バッフルと当接してバッフルアセンブリを形成するように構成されており、
各バッフル壁は、第1のアパーチャと、前記第1のアパーチャに対向する第2のアパーチャとを画定しており、
各バッフル壁は、第1のバッフル壁端部及び第2のバッフル壁端部を画定しており、
各バッフル壁端部は、そのバッフル壁端部の実質的に全周辺の周りで、前記筐体の内面と当接するように構成されており、各バッフルの第1のアパーチャ及び第2のアパーチャは、前記サウンドサプレッサ内で、他のバッフルの第1のアパーチャ及び第2のアパーチャと実質的に同軸である、サウンドサプレッサ。 - 前記筐体は、略円筒状である、請求項1に記載のサウンドサプレッサ。
- 各バッフルは、略円筒状である、請求項2に記載のサウンドサプレッサ。
- 各バッフルは、略円筒状である、請求項1に記載のサウンドサプレッサ。
- 各バッフルは、隣接する各バッフルに対して、平行から傾けられている、請求項1に記載のサウンドサプレッサ。
- 各バッフル壁は、前記筐体に対して、直立姿勢から傾けられている、請求項5に記載のサウンドサプレッサ。
- 各バッフル壁は、前記筐体に対して、直立姿勢から傾けられている、請求項1に記載のサウンドサプレッサ。
- 各バッフルの第2のアパーチャは、その第2のアパーチャの周辺の実質的に全周辺の周りにおいて、隣接するバッフルの第1のアパーチャの周囲にあるバッフル壁と当接するほど十分に大きい、請求項1に記載のサウンドサプレッサ。
- 各バッフルは、隣接する各バッフルに対して、平行から傾けられる、請求項8に記載のサウンドサプレッサ。
- 各バッフル壁は、前記筐体に対して、直立姿勢から傾けられる、請求項9に記載のサウンドサプレッサ。
- 各バッフル壁は、前記筐体に対して、直立姿勢から傾けられる、請求項8に記載のサウンドサプレッサ。
- 前記筐体は更に、前記筐体の周りに配置される外側筐体を備えており、前記外側筐体は、内壁及び外壁を有し、それらの間にギャップを画定し、前記外側筐体は、前記ギャップは、外気と通じないようにシールされており、前記ギャップは、ガス、真空、又は断熱材を含む、請求項1に記載のサウンドサプレッサ。
