Claims (6)
- 機上不活性ガス生成装置(OBIGGS)内の1つ又は複数のコンポーネントに対してメンテナンス予測を計算し、性能不足を改善するためのシステムであって、OBIGGSコンポーネントは流路を介してそれぞれ流体結合されるオゾンコンバータ、熱交換器、入口フィルタ、及び空気分離モジュール(ASM)を含み、前記オゾンコンバータは入口弁を介して受け取られる入口ガスからオゾンガスを除去するように構成され、前記熱交換器は入口ガスの温度を調節するように構成され、前記入口フィルタは入口ガスからの汚染物質の少なくとも一部をろ過するように構成され、前記ASMは入口ガス内の成分を分離し下流の燃料タンクに送出するための不活性ガスを生成するように構成された中空糸膜を含む、ところのシステムであって、
a.OBIGGSの各コンポーネントに結合される少なくとも1つのそれぞれのセンサを含む予測ヘルスモニタリング(PHM)センサネットワークであって、各少なくとも1つのそれぞれのセンサはそれぞれのコンポーネントの性能条件に対応するそれぞれのデータ信号を出力するように構成される、予測ヘルスモニタリング(PHM)センサネットワークと、
b.各コンポーネントに作動的に結合され前記PHMセンサネットワークの各それぞれのセンサに信号的に結合された制御ユニットであって、それぞれのデータ信号を解析して、それぞれのコンポーネントのメンテナンス予測を計算するように構成された少なくとも1つのテスト条件アルゴリズムを含む制御ユニットと、を含むシステム。 - 前記少なくとも1つのテスト条件アルゴリズムは各それぞれのコンポーネントの予測性能寿命に対応する経験曲線近似を含み、該アルゴリズムはそれぞれのデータ信号を外挿してコンポーネント障害前の残りのコンポーネント動作時間を推定するように構成されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載されたシステム。
- 前記制御ユニットは推定された残りのコンポーネント動作時間が所定の期間よりも短い場合に通知を生成するように構成されることを特徴とする請求項2に記載されたシステム。
- 前記制御ユニットは、ASMに結合されたセンサからのデータ信号が閾値より低い空気分離効率を示す場合に再生シーケンスを開始するように構成されることを特徴とする請求項2に記載されたシステム。
- 機上不活性ガス生成装置(OBIGGS)内の1つ又は複数のコンポーネントに対してメンテナンス予測を計算し、性能不足を改善するための方法であって、OBIGGSコンポーネントは流路を介してそれぞれ流体結合されるオゾンコンバータ、熱交換器、入口フィルタ、及び空気分離モジュール(ASM)を含み、前記オゾンコンバータは入口ガスからオゾンガスを除去するように構成され、前記熱交換器は入口ガスの温度を調節するように構成され、前記入口フィルタは入口ガスからの汚染物質の少なくとも一部をろ過するように構成され、前記ASMは入口ガス内の成分を分離し下流の燃料タンクに送出するための不活性ガスを生成するように構成された中空糸膜を含み、予測ヘルスモニタリング(PHM)センサネットワークはOBIGGSの各コンポーネントに結合される少なくとも1つのそれぞれのセンサを含み、各少なくとも1つのそれぞれのセンサはそれぞれのコンポーネントの性能条件に対応するそれぞれのデータ信号を出力するように構成され、制御ユニットは各コンポーネントに作動的に結合され前記PHMセンサネットワークの各それぞれのセンサに信号的に結合され、前記制御ユニットはそれぞれのデータ信号を解析して、それぞれのコンポーネントのメンテナンス予測を計算するように構成された少なくとも1つのテスト条件アルゴリズムを含む、ところの方法であって、
a.前記少なくとも1つのテスト条件アルゴリズムを前記制御ユニットに取り込むステップであって、前記少なくとも1つのテスト条件アルゴリズムはそれぞれのコンポーネント性能式と、コンポーネント性能寿命に対応する関連する性能経験曲線近似とを含む、ステップと、
b.前記制御ユニットを介して、各コンポーネントの性能条件に対応するそれぞれのデータ信号を受信するステップと、
b.前記少なくとも1つのテスト条件アルゴリズムを介して、それぞれのコンポーネントについて推定数の残りのコンポーネント動作時間を計算するために性能条件を経験曲線近似と比較するステップと、を含む方法。 - さらに、前記制御ユニットを介して、前記推定数の残りのコンポーネント動作時間が所定期間未満である場合に、通知を生成するステップと、を含む請求項5に記載された方法。
