Claims (30)
- 骨融合型インプラントであって:
・ 第1エンドプレートが第2エンドプレートから離間して配置され;
・ 第1エンドプレートが,骨の第1セグメントに接触させるための上面と,本体に固定される下面とを有し;
・ 第2エンドプレートが,骨の第2セグメントに接触させるための下面と,前記本体に固定される上面とを有し;
・ 第1エンドプレート及び第2エンドプレートの弾性係数が,前記本体の弾性係数よりも高く;
・ 骨融合型インプラントが,構造体弾性係数を有する,インプラント。 - 請求項1に記載の装置であって,前記第1エンドプレート及び前記第2エンドプレートが,60%以上100%以下の体積密度を有する,装置。
- 請求項2に記載の装置であって,前記本体が,5%以上50%以下の体積密度を有する,装置。
- 請求項3に記載の装置であって,前記第1エンドプレート,前記第2エンドプレート及び前記本体が,チタン又はその合金を含み,ひし形十二面体の単位セルを使用する土台構造を有する,装置。
- 請求項4に記載の装置であって,前記第1エンドプレート及び前記第2エンドプレートが,実質的に同一の体積密度を有する,装置。
- 請求項4に記載の装置であって,前記本体が,5%以上10%以下の体積密度を有する,装置。
- 請求項4に記載の装置であって,前記本体が,10%以上18%以下の体積密度を有する,装置。

- 請求項1に記載の装置であって,前記骨融合型インプラントが2.2GPa以上3.5GPa以下の構造体弾性係数を有し,前記本体が1.3GPa以上3.5GPa以下の弾性係数を有し,前記第1エンドプレート及び前記第2エンドプレートが2.2GPa以上4.7GPa以下の弾性係数を有する,装置。
- 請求項1に記載の装置であって,前記骨融合型インプラントが3.5GPa以上4.0GPa以下の構造体弾性係数を有し,前記本体が2.1GPa以上4.0GPa以下の弾性係数を有し,前記第1エンドプレート及び前記第2エンドプレートが3.5GPa以上5.4GPa以下の弾性係数を有する,装置。
- 請求項1に記載の装置であって,前記骨融合型インプラントが0.1GPa以上0.9GPa以下の構造体弾性係数を有し,前記本体が0.08GPa以上0.9GPa以下の弾性係数を有し,前記第1エンドプレート及び前記第2エンドプレートが0.1GPa以上8.9GPa以下の弾性係数を有する,装置。
- 骨融合型インプラントにおける本体,第1エンドプレート及び第2エンドプレートの弾性係数の最適化方法であって,該方法が:
・ インプラントの高さ(LUBL[単位:m]),インプラントの剛性(KUBL[単位:N/m])及び平均的なインプラントのフットプリント面積(A[単位:m2])を選択することにより,インプラントの弾性係数(EUBL[単位:GPa])を決定し,該決定に際して次式〔1〕を使用し:
KUBL=A*EUBL/LUBL… 〔3〕
・ 次に,以下のパラメータのうちの少なくとも3つのパラメータを選択して,残りのパラメータを計算し,該パラメータが,第1エンドプレートの高さ(LU[単位:m]),第1エンドプレートの弾性係数(EU[単位:GPa]),第2エンドプレートの高さ(LL[単位:m]),第2エンドプレートの弾性係数(EL[単位:GPa]),本体の高さ(LB[単位:m])及び本体の弾性係数(EB[単位:GPa])を含み,前記計算に際して次式〔2〕を使用し;
EUBL=LUBL/(LU/EU+ LL/EL + LB/EB) … 〔4〕
ここに,EBはEUBLの60%以上100%以下に相当する値に等しい,方法。 - 請求項25に記載の方法であって,EUをEB未満とし,ELをEB未満とする,方法。
- 請求項26に記載の方法であって,インプラントの弾性係数(EUBL)を0.3GPa以上2.2GPa以下とし,本体の弾性係数(EB)を0.2GPa以上2.2GPa以下とし,第1エンドプレートの弾性係数(EU)を0.3GPa以上3.0GPa以下とし,第2エンドプレートの弾性係数(EL)を0.3GPa以上3.0GPa以下とする,方法。
- 請求項26に記載の方法であって,インプラントの弾性係数(EUBL)を2.2GPa以上3.5GPa以下とし,本体の弾性係数(EB)を1.3GPa以上3.5GPa以下とし,第1エンドプレートの弾性係数(EU)を2.2GPa以上4.7GPa以下とし,第2エンドプレートの弾性係数(EL)を2.2GPa以上4.7GPa以下とする,方法。
- 請求項26に記載の方法であって,インプラントの弾性係数(EUBL)を3.5GPa以上4.0GPa以下とし,本体の弾性係数(EB)を2.1GPa以上4.0GPa以下とし,第1エンドプレートの弾性係数(EU)を3.5GPa以上5.4GPa以下とし,第2エンドプレートの弾性係数(EL)を3.5GPa以上5.4GPa以下とする,方法。
