Claims (39)
- 骨融合型インプラントであって:
・ 金属製格子構造を有する本体と第1エンドプレート及び第2エンドプレートとを備え;
・ 前記第1エンドプレートが,前記本体のみを介して前記第2エンドプレートに機械的に結合され;
・ 前記第1エンドプレートが,骨の第1セグメントに接触させるための上面と,前記本体に固定される下面とを有し;
・ 前記第2エンドプレートが,骨の第2セグメントに接触させるための下面と,前記本体に固定される上面とを有し;
・ 前記第1エンドプレート及び第2エンドプレートの各弾性係数が,前記本体の弾性係数よりも高く;
・ 前記本体が,少なくとも部分的に,前記第1エンドプレート及び第2エンドプレートの間に配置され;
・ 前記第1エンドプレート及び第2エンドプレートが,それぞれ金属を含有する,インプラント。 - 請求項1に記載の骨融合型インプラントであって,前記第1エンドプレート及び前記第2エンドプレートの少なくとも一方が,1つの,又は互いに接続された複数の開口部を備え,60%以上90%以下の体積密度を有する,骨融合型インプラント。
- 請求項1に記載の骨融合型インプラントであって,前記本体が,5%以上50%以下の体積密度を有する,骨融合型インプラント。
- 請求項1に記載の骨融合型インプラントであって,前記第1エンドプレート,前記第2エンドプレート及び前記本体が,チタン又はその合金を含む,骨融合型インプラント。
- 請求項4に記載の骨融合型インプラントであって,前記第1エンドプレート及び前記第2エンドプレートが,実質的に同一の体積密度を有する,骨融合型インプラント。
- 請求項4に記載の骨融合型インプラントであって,前記本体が,5%以上10%以下の体積密度を有する,骨融合型インプラント。
- 請求項4に記載の骨融合型インプラントであって,前記本体が,10%以上18%以下の体積密度を有する,骨融合型インプラント。
- 請求項7に記載の骨融合型インプラントであって,前記本体が,300MPa以上4GPa以下の弾性係数を有する,骨融合型インプラント。
- 請求項4に記載の骨融合型インプラントであって,前記本体が,18%以上25%以下の体積密度を有する,骨融合型インプラント。
- 請求項9に記載の骨融合型インプラントであって,前記本体が,1GPa以上5GPa以下の弾性係数を有する,骨融合型インプラント。
- 請求項4に記載の骨融合型インプラントであって,前記本体が,25%以上35%以下の体積密度を有する,骨融合型インプラント。
- 請求項11に記載の骨融合型インプラントであって,前記本体が,1GPa以上5GPa以下の弾性係数を有する,骨融合型インプラント。
- 請求項3に記載の骨融合型インプラントであって,前記第1エンドプレート及び前記第2エンドプレートが,300MPa以上130GPa以下の弾性係数を有する,骨融合型インプラント。
- 請求項13に記載の骨融合型インプラントであって,前記本体が,10MPa以上12GPa以下の弾性係数を有する,骨融合型インプラント。
- 請求項14に記載の骨融合型インプラントであって,前記本体が,前記インプラントの構造体弾性係数の50%以上100%以下の弾性係数を有する,骨融合型インプラント。
- 請求項15に記載の骨融合型インプラントであって,前記本体が,10MPa以上300MPa以下の弾性係数を有する,骨融合型インプラント。
- 請求項15に記載の骨融合型インプラントであって,前記本体が,300MPa以上2GPa以下の弾性係数を有する,骨融合型インプラント。
- 請求項15に記載の骨融合型インプラントであって,前記本体が,1GPa以上5GPa以下の弾性係数を有する,骨融合型インプラント。
- 請求項18に記載の骨融合型インプラントであって,前記第1エンドプレート及び前記第2エンドプレートが,1GPa以上5GPa以下の弾性係数を有する,骨融合型インプラント。
- 請求項15に記載の骨融合型インプラントであって,前記本体が,前記インプラントの前記構造体弾性係数の60%以上80%以下の弾性係数を有する,骨融合型インプラント。
- 請求項1に記載の骨融合型インプラントであって,該骨融合型インプラントが0.3GPa以上2.2GPa以下の構造体弾性係数を有し,前記本体が0.2GPa以上2.2GPa以下の弾性係数を有し,前記第1エンドプレート及び前記第2エンドプレートが0.3GPa以上3.0GPa以下の弾性係数を有する,骨融合型インプラント。
- 請求項1に記載の骨融合型インプラントであって,前記骨融合型インプラントが2.2GPa以上3.5GPa以下の構造体弾性係数を有し,前記本体が1.3GPa以上3.5GPa以下の弾性係数を有し,前記第1エンドプレート及び前記第2エンドプレートが2.2GPa以上4.7GPa以下の弾性係数を有する,骨融合型インプラント。
- 請求項1に記載の骨融合型インプラントであって,前記骨融合型インプラントが3.5GPa以上4.0GPa以下の構造体弾性係数を有し,前記本体が2.1GPa以上4.0GPa以下の弾性係数を有し,前記第1エンドプレート及び前記第2エンドプレートが3.5GPa以上5.4GPa以下の弾性係数を有する,骨融合型インプラント。
- 請求項1に記載の骨融合型インプラントであって,前記骨融合型インプラントが0.1GPa以上0.9GPa以下の構造体弾性係数を有し,前記本体が0.08GPa以上0.9GPa以下の弾性係数を有し,前記第1エンドプレート及び前記第2エンドプレートが0.1GPa以上8.9GPa以下の弾性係数を有する,骨融合型インプラント。
- 金属製格子構造を含む本体,第2エンドプレートから離間して配置され,かつ,前記本体のみを介して前記第2エンドプレートに機械的に結合される第1エンドプレートを備えるインプラントの弾性係数の最適化方法であって,該方法が:
・ インプラントの高さ(LUBL[単位:m]),インプラントの剛性(KUBL[単位:N/m])及び平均的なインプラントのフットプリント面積(A[単位:m2])を選択することにより,インプラントの弾性係数(EUBL[単位:GPa])を決定し,該決定に際して次式〔1〕を使用し:
KUBL=A*EUBL/LUBL… 〔1〕
・ 次に,以下のパラメータのうちの少なくとも3つのパラメータを選択して,残りのパラメータを計算し,該パラメータが,前記第1エンドプレートの高さ(LU[単位:m]),前記第1エンドプレートの弾性係数(EU[単位:GPa]),前記第2エンドプレートの高さ(LL[単位:m]),前記第2エンドプレートの弾性係数(EL[単位:GPa]),前記本体の高さ(LB[単位:m])及び前記本体の弾性係数(EB[単位:GPa])を含み,前記計算に際して次式〔2〕を使用し;
EUBL=LUBL/(LU/EU+ LL/EL + LB/EB) … 〔2〕
ここに,EBはEUBLの60%以上100%以下に相当する値に等しい,方法。 - 請求項25に記載の方法であって,EUをEB未満とし,ELをEB未満とする,方法。
- 請求項26に記載の方法であって,インプラントの弾性係数(EUBL)を0.3GPa以上2.2GPa以下とし,本体の弾性係数(EB)を0.2GPa以上2.2GPa以下とし,第1エンドプレートの弾性係数(EU)を0.3GPa~3.0GPaとし,第2エンドプレートの弾性係数(EL)を0.3GPa以上3.0GPa以下とする,方法。
- 請求項26に記載の方法であって,インプラントの弾性係数(EUBL)を2.2GPa以上3.5GPa以下とし,本体の弾性係数(EB)を1.3GPa以上3.5GPa以下とし,第1エンドプレートの弾性係数(EU)を2.2GPa以上4.7GPa以下とし,第2エンドプレートの弾性係数(EL)を2.2GPa以上4.7GPa以下とする,方法。
- 請求項26に記載の方法であって,インプラントの弾性係数(EUBL)を3.5GPa以上4.0GPa以下とし,本体の弾性係数(EB)を2.1GPa以上4.0GPa以下とし,第1エンドプレートの弾性係数(EU)を3.5GPa以上5.4GPa以下とし,第2エンドプレートの弾性係数(EL)を3.5GPa以上5.4GPa以下とする,方法。
- 請求項26に記載の方法であって,インプラントの弾性係数(EUBL)を0.1GPa以上0.9GPa以下とし,本体の弾性係数(EB)を0.08GPa以上0.9GPa以下とし,第1エンドプレートの弾性係数(EU)を0.1GPa以上8.9GPa以下とし,第2エンドプレートの弾性係数(EL)を0.1GPa以上8.9GPa以下とする,方法。
- 請求項1に記載の骨融合型インプラントであって,前記第1エンドプレート及び第2エンドプレートが,互いに異なる金属を含有する,インプラント。
- 請求項1に記載の骨融合型インプラントであって,前記本体及び/又は前記第1エンドプレート及び前記第2エンドプレートの金属が,ジルコニウム,ステンレス鋼,タンタル,ニチノール,コバルト,クロム合金,チタン,タングステン及びこれらの合金よりなる群から選択される,インプラント。
- 請求項1に記載の骨融合型インプラントであって,前記第1エンドプレート及び第2エンドプレートは,それぞれ,インプラントのフットプリントにおける幅及び長さに略等しい幅及び長さを有する環状リングを備える,インプラント。
- 請求項33に記載の骨融合型インプラントであって,上から見たときの前記第1エンドプレートの面積は,インプラントのフットプリント面積の10%以上100%以下である,インプラント。
- 請求項1に記載の骨融合型インプラントであって,前記エンドプレートの少なくとも一方は,該少なくとも一方のエンドプレートを隣接する堆骨に機械的に係止するための複数のリッジ部を備える,インプラント。
- 請求項1に記載の骨融合型インプラントであって,前記エンドプレートの少なくとも1つに固定され,かつ,後ろ向きに延在する1つ又は複数のインパクトレールを更に備える,インプラント。
- 請求項1に記載の骨融合型インプラントであって,上から見たときに,上側のエンドプレートは,インプラントのフットプリント面積の30%以上40%以下に相当する連続的な面積を有する,インプラント。
- 請求項1に記載の骨融合型インプラントであって,前記第1エンドプレート及び前記第2エンドプレートは60%以上90%以下の体積密度を有し,
前記本体は5%以上50%以下の体積密度を有し,
前記第1エンドプレート,前記第2エンドプレート及び前記本体は,チタン又はその合金を含有すると共に,ひし形十二面体単位セルに基づく足場構造を備える,インプラント。 - 請求項15に記載の骨融合型インプラントであって,前記本体は,5%以上38%以下の体積密度を有する,インプラント。
