Claims (22)
- カテーテルの外面に設けられるフレキシブル熱伝達素子と、

ガイドワイヤを受け入れるためのガイドワイヤルーメンと、
前記バルーンを膨張させるための前記膨張流体を冷却するために配置される細長い冷却要素と
を備え、
膨張したときに、前記冷却要素が前記バルーン内の略中心にあり、前記ガイドワイヤルーメンが前記冷却要素に平行であり、前記冷却要素から半径方向にずれるように、前記冷却要素及び前記ガイドワイヤルーメンは、前記フレキシブル熱伝達素子の内側に配置され、
前記フレキシブル熱伝達素子は、前記冷却要素の長軸に垂直な平面内で見た場合、異方的に膨張して、前記バルーンを形成するように構成される、カテーテル。 - 前記冷却要素は、使用時において、前記バルーンの内面が前記バルーンの周囲の周りで前記冷却要素によって実質的に均一に冷却されるように前記バルーン内に配置される、請求項1に記載のカテーテル。

- 前記冷却要素は、前記第1のチューブから前記冷却チャンバに前記冷却材を搬送するように構成される制限チューブを更に有し、前記制限チューブは、前記第1のチューブより狭い内径を有する、請求項11に記載のカテーテル。
- 前記制限チューブ及び前記冷却チャンバは、前記冷却材が前記第1のチューブに沿って液体として運ばれる場合、前記冷却材の少なくとも一部は、前記制限チューブにおいて及び/又は前記冷却チャンバにおいて相変化して、前記第2のチューブを気体として通って帰還するように構成される、請求項12に記載のカテーテル。
- 前記バルーンは、実質的に円筒形状である、請求項1から13の何れか一項に記載のカテーテル。
- 血管に使用するとき、前記膨張したフレキシブル熱伝達素子は、前記血管の壁と前記膨張したフレキシブル熱伝達素子との間の流体流を塞ぐ、請求項1から14の何れか一項に記載のカテーテル。
- 前記導管は、前記フレキシブル熱伝達素子の前記膨張流体の帰還流を提供するように更に構成される、請求項1から15の何れか一項に記載のカテーテル。

- 前記フレキシブル熱伝達素子は、単一壁の外側膜を有する、請求項1から18の何れか一項に記載のカテーテル。
- 前記フレキシブル熱伝達素子の前記膨張流体又は固化した膨張流体を加熱するためのヒーターを更に備える、請求項1から19の何れか一項に記載のカテーテル。
- 前記導管、前記ガイドワイヤルーメン及び前記冷却要素は、シャフトから突出しており、前記シャフトの内側で、前記冷却要素は、前記冷却要素の前記長軸に垂直な前記平面内で見た場合、平坦な円形状を有する外面を有する、請求項1から20の何れか一項に記載のカテーテル。
- 前記導管、前記ガイドワイヤルーメン及び前記冷却要素は、シャフトから突出しており、前記シャフトは、前記導管と、前記ガイドワイヤルーメンと、前記冷却要素との間の領域を占める固体を有する、請求項1から21の何れか一項に記載のカテーテル。
