Abstract
Description
(i)液体エアロゾル形成基体を可動壁および出口を含む液体貯蔵部分内に保存する工程と、
(ii)液体エアロゾル形成基体を液体貯蔵部分の出口から気化器の発熱体によって画定される内部通路に送達する工程であって、マイクロステッパモータの駆動シャフトを所定の数回転させるように、1ステップを実行するためにマイクロステッパモータを作動すること、を含み、親ねじは、駆動シャフトに接続され、親ねじは、ピストンに接続され、ピストンは、駆動シャフトの回転をピストンの軸方向移動および可動壁の対応する軸方向移動に転換するように、可動壁に接続される、送達する工程と、
(iii)内部通路内に送達された液体エアロゾル形成基体を、送達された液体エアロゾル形成基体の少なくとも一部分を揮発するのに十分な温度に加熱する工程と、を含む。

Claims (18)
- 液体エアロゾル形成基体を保存するための液体貯蔵部分であって、可動壁および出口を含む、液体貯蔵部分と、
開放的な内部通路を画定する構造をもつ発熱体を含む気化器と、
液体エアロゾル形成基体を前記液体貯蔵部分の前記出口から前記発熱体の前記内部通路に送達するように構成されるポンプであって、
マイクロステッパモータの1ステップの実行に伴って所定の数回転するように構成される駆動シャフトをもつ前記マイクロステッパモータと、
前記可動壁に接続されるピストンと、
前記駆動シャフトを前記ピストンに接続し、前記駆動シャフトの回転を前記ピストンの軸方向移動および前記可動壁の対応する軸方向移動に転換するように構成される親ねじと、を含む、ポンプと、を含み、
前記気化器が、前記内部通路内に前記送達された液体エアロゾル形成基体を、前記送達された液体エアロゾル形成基体の少なくとも一部分を揮発するのに十分な温度に加熱するように構成される、エアロゾル発生システム。 - 前記液体貯蔵部分が、前記液体貯蔵部分の方への前記可動壁の前記軸方向移動によって、前記マイクロステッパモータの1ステップの実行に伴って、前記液体貯蔵部分の前記出口から前記発熱体の前記内部通路へ定められた量の液体エアロゾル形成を送達するように、前記液体貯蔵部分の容積の減少が引き起されるように構成される、請求項1に記載のエアロゾル発生システム。
- 前記マイクロステッパモータが、逆方向のステップを実行し、それにより、前記液体貯蔵部分の前記容積を増大させるようにさらに構成される、請求項1または2に記載のエアロゾル発生システム。
- 前記可動壁が、前記マイクロステッパモータおよび前記ピストンが前記液体エアロゾル形成基体と接触しないように、前記液体貯蔵部分内に前記液体エアロゾル形成基体を含むように構成される、請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載のエアロゾル発生システム。
- その中に前記液体エアロゾル形成基体が送達されるチャンバーをさらに含み、前記発熱体が、前記液体貯蔵部分の前記出口の下流の前記チャンバーの内部に配置される、請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載のエアロゾル発生システム。
- それを通じて前記液体エアロゾル形成基体が前記液体貯蔵部分から前記気化器に送達される管状のセグメントをさらに含む、請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載のエアロゾル発生システム。
- 前記気化器が、前記管状のセグメントの開端部の下流に配置される、請求項6に記載のエアロゾル発生システム。
- 前記管状のセグメントが、毛細管を含む、請求項6または7に記載のエアロゾル発生システム。
- 前記気化器が、前記管状のセグメントの周りに延在する加熱コイルを含む、請求項6、7または8に記載のエアロゾル発生システム。
- 前記気化器が、前記管状のセグメントから長手方向に延在する加熱コイルを含む、請求項6〜9のいずれか1項に記載のエアロゾル発生システム。
- 前記気化器が、前記管状のセグメントから長手方向に延在する円錐形のヒーターを含む、請求項6または7または8に記載のエアロゾル発生システム。
- 前記液体貯蔵部分が、前記液体貯蔵部分の前記出口に接続される一方向の弁を含む、請求項1〜11のいずれかに記載のエアロゾル発生システム。
- 前記液体貯蔵部分の前記出口を通じて送達される前記液体エアロゾル形成基体の流量が、毎秒0.5〜2マイクロリットル以内である、請求項1〜12のいずれかに記載のエアロゾル発生システム。
- 主要ユニットおよびカートリッジを含み、前記カートリッジが、前記主要ユニットと取り外し可能なように結合され、前記主要ユニットが、電源を含み、前記液体貯蔵部分が、前記カートリッジに提供され、前記マイクロステッパモータが、前記主要ユニットに提供される、請求項1〜13のいずれかに記載のエアロゾル発生システム。
- 前記液体貯蔵部分、前記ピストン、および前記親ねじを含む、請求項14に記載のエアロゾル発生システムのためのカートリッジ。
- 前記カートリッジが前記主要ユニット内に挿入される前に、前記液体貯蔵部分の前記可動壁、前記ピストン、および前記親ねじのうちの少なくとも1つを覆う第一のカバーをさらに含む、請求項15に記載のカートリッジ。

液体エアロゾル形成基体を前記液体貯蔵部分の前記出口から気化器の発熱体によって画定される内部通路に送達する工程であって、マイクロステッパモータの駆動シャフトを所定の数回転させるように、1ステップを実行するために前記マイクロステッパモータを作動すること、を含み、親ねじが、前記駆動シャフトに接続され、前記親ねじが、ピストンに接続され、前記ピストンが、前記駆動シャフトの回転を前記ピストンの軸方向移動および前記可動壁の対応する軸方向移動に転換するように、前記可動壁に接続される、送達する工程と、
前記内部通路内に前記送達された液体エアロゾル形成基体を、前記送達された液体エアロゾル形成基体の少なくとも一部分を揮発するのに十分な温度に加熱する工程であって、蒸着領域が、前記発熱体の表面を含む、加熱する工程と、を含む、方法。
