Description
Claims (15)
- 無端フィラメント(1)、特に熱可塑性の合成樹脂から成る無端フィラメント(1)で構成された紡糸フリースを製造する装置であって、前記無端フィラメント(1)を紡出する紡糸口金(2)が設けられており、紡出された前記フィラメント(1)を冷却空気で冷却する冷却チャンバ(4)が設けられ、該冷却チャンバ(4)の2つの対向する側にそれぞれ1つの空気供給室(5,6)が配置されており、これら対向する空気供給室(5,6)から冷却空気を前記冷却チャンバ(4)へ導入可能であり、前記両空気供給室(5,6)の各々には、それぞれ、前記フィラメント(1)へ当たる冷却空気流を整流する少なくとも1つの整流装置(18)が設けられており、整流装置(18)は、前記フィラメント(1)あるいはフィラメントの流れの移動方向に対して横方向へ向いた複数の流れ通路(19)を備えており、該流れ通路(19)が通路壁部(20)で画定されており、前記整流装置(18)の開放された面積が、85%より大きく、好ましくは90%より大きく、前記流れ通路(19)の直径Diに対する前記流れ通路(19)の長さLの比率L/Diが1〜15、好ましくは1〜10、有利には1.5〜9であることを特徴とする装置。
- 前記紡糸口金(2)と前記冷却チャンバ(4)の間にモノマー吸引装置(7)が配置されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記各空気供給室(5,6)が、少なくとも2つに、好ましくは2つの室部分(16,17)に分割され、これらの室部分からそれぞれ異なる温度の冷却空気を供給することが可能であることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の装置。
- 少なくとも1つの整流装置(18)が、その冷却空気流入側ES及び/又はそれ冷却空気流出側ASにおいて少なくとも1つの流れスクリーン(21)を備えており、該流れスクリーン(21)が、前記流れ通路(19)の長手方向に対して好ましくは横方向に、有利には垂直に配置されていることを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 前記少なくとも1つの流れスクリーン(21)が、0.1〜0.4mmの、好ましくは0.15〜0.34mmのメッシュ幅を有しており、前記少なくとも1つの流れスクリーン(21)が、好ましくは0.05〜0.32mm、有利には0.07〜0.28mmのワイヤ厚さを有していることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の装置。
- 前記少なくとも1つの流れスクリーン(21)の開放された面積が、20〜50%、好ましくは25〜45%であることを特徴とする請求項4又は5に記載の装置。
- 前記整流装置(18)の前記開放された面積が、91%より大きく、好ましくは92%よりも大きいことを特徴とする請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 前記比率L/Diが2〜8、好ましくは2.5〜7.5、有利には2.5〜7、非常に有利には3〜6.5であることを特徴とする請求項1〜7のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 前記整流装置(18)の前記流れ通路(19)が、多角形の断面、好ましくは四角形〜八角形の断面、特に好ましくは六角形の断面を有していることを特徴とする請求項1〜8のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 前記整流装置(18)の前記流れ通路(19)が、丸みのある断面、好ましくは円形又はだ円形の断面を有していることを特徴とする請求項1〜9のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 前記流れ通路(19)の前記通路壁部(20)が、翼状あるいはウィング状に形成されており、好ましくは、隣り合う2つの翼状の前記通路壁部(20)の間の間隔が3〜12mm、有利には5〜10mmであることを特徴とする請求項1〜8のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 前記冷却空気が通過する、前記整流装置(18)の内部面積が、前記整流装置(18)の流れ断面1m2につき、5〜50m2、好ましくは7.5〜45m2、有利には10〜40m2であることを特徴とする請求項1〜11のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 前記整流装置(18)の前記流れ通路(19)の長さLが、15〜65mm、好ましくは20〜60mm、有利には20〜55mm、非常に有利には25〜50mmであることを特徴とする請求項1〜12のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 前記流れ通路(19)の内径Diあるいは最小の内径Diが、2〜15mm、好ましくは3〜12mm、有利には4〜11mm、非常に有利には5〜10mmであることを特徴とする請求項1〜13のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 前記フィラメント(1)が、2000m/分より大きな、好ましくは2200m/分より大きな糸速度で当該装置を通って流れるか、あるいは4000m/分より大きな、特に5000m/分より大きな糸速度で当該装置を通って流れるという条件で設定されていることを特徴とする請求項1〜14のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
