Description

The present invention relates to a finger extension aid that can extend the first to fifth fingers that are difficult to open while the fingers are gripped due to an upper limb paralysis that is a sequela of stroke.

Since it is difficult to open with fingers held by upper limb paralysis, it is difficult for one person to extend the first to fifth fingers, and a caregiver is required.

Therefore, there is a need for a finger extension assisting tool that can be attached and detached by one person without the need of a caregiver.

Carpal joint that passively opens and closes the wrist joint by injecting and exhausting gas or liquid into the back of the palm for improving the function of the fingers A rehabilitation tool (see, for example, Patent Document 1) has been proposed. In addition, the purpose is to extend the first to fifth fingers and extend the wrist. A finger extension assisting tool (see, for example, Patent Document 2) has been proposed.

Utility model registration No. 3188435

However, such a device is large and difficult for a user with a physical disability to attach and detach. Further, since a gas or liquid must be injected into the bag body, a caregiver is required. In addition, there is a finger extension aid that extends the first to fifth fingers and fixes the wrist, but this shape is useful for those who have strong neck contractions at the third joint of the second to fifth fingers. Extension is unstable because the crimping and fixing to the tube is not stable.

An object of the present invention is to provide a finger extension assisting tool that can be attached and detached by one user without the need of a caregiver and can stably extend the third joint portion of the first to fifth fingers.

In order to solve the above-mentioned object, the invention according to claim 1 is characterized by a strong and lightweight hard plate-like main body and a belt-like fastener having hook fasteners attached to both ends for fixing the first finger to the hard plate-like main body. In order to fix the first finger fixing member and the second to fifth fingers, a band-like finger fixing member with a hook-and-loop fastener attached to one end and a hook-and-loop fastener at one end to fix the carpal joint. About the said hard plate-shaped main body 1, the finger of the upper limb paralysis which is a sequela of stroke is grasped firmly. Some people are gripped so strongly that the fingertips that have been gripped bite into the palm of the hand and can cause scratches. In order to stretch and press the fingers, a load is applied to the plate-like main body 1, and thus a strong member is preferable. Moreover, it is preferable that it is lightweight so that it does not interfere with movement or other movements while wearing the extension assisting tool and is used without causing stress. The hard plate-shaped body 1 has holes 5a, 5b, and 5c, which are formed from a hardened plastic material, so that the 2nd to 5th fingers are integrated without the first finger. Therefore, it is preferable to have a structure that can be used for both the right hand and the left hand by turning the body 1 upside down.

The finger fixing member 2b, the wrist fixing member 2c, and the rings 3a and 3b can be fixed while being folded back and pulled. Therefore, the first member is a member that can stably press and fix the finger and the wrist to the main body 1. It is preferable that the finger extension, the first to third joints of the second to fifth fingers, and the wrist joint can be extended.

An embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIG.

FIG. 9 is a view showing a state in which a finger extension assisting tool is attached.

Stretching while wearing a finger extension aid and assisting with a wrist that is not paralyzed with a wrist that can bend inward while sitting.

The forearm muscle stretch effect can be obtained by curving the back of the hand and applying weight while assisting the wrist that is easy to bend in the side of the body while sitting down with the hand without paralysis. In addition, the extension of the bent wrist joint and fingers can balance blood flow and muscles and reduce edema. If the joint does not move, the elasticity of the joint capsule, ligament, etc. is lost due to the joint not moving, the joint of the upper limb is solidified, and the arms, shoulders, and the whole are stuck when the fingers on the paralyzed side are held The mobility of the shoulder is limited, and the tension around the shoulder is strengthened. Stretching the first joint, second joint, and third joint of the finger leads to improvement of upper limb muscles and fascia tension. The muscles that grip the arm are very strong, the fingertips and palms do not open, and the entire arm is stiff. Such a person intentionally stretches the first to third joints of the finger, so that the forearm, upper arm, and shoulder pain are alleviated. The user can wear the finger extension aids continuously, improving the situation where the fingertips and palms do not stretch, and not only caregivers but also caregivers such as palm washing, nail clippers, and clothes removal. The burden of rehabilitation can be reduced, and motivation for rehabilitation and independence can be promoted.

Nearly 30% of bedridden causes are cerebrovascular diseases such as stroke, and the number of stroke patients is expected to exceed 3 million in 2020. In stroke, various disabilities remain as sequelae, leading to the need for nursing care for severe sequelae. By using a finger extension assisting tool, the present invention can be used in daily life to reduce the burden on care recipients, caregivers, etc. Seems to have high industrial applicability.
